  1. Thanks for posting! I like this coupon because, unlike the Rewards Certificate,it is good on things other than Hallmark items.
  2. Not in my experiences. I think it states on the coupon that they cannot be combined with other offers/coupons.
  3. THANK YOU! This is one of my favorite coupons this time of year. I didn't know it was already out there
  4. My stores didn't go 90% today but even better; the food stuff was 70% and I made a huge score! I hit my closest store at opening and saw that candy had gone to 50% and the rest was 70. I had just come from Walgreens and their candy was 75% so I bought all my candy there! I found some marshmallows for .35 (at Target) and bought a tiny bit else but then headed to one further away and that's where I found my best deals. I got 2 cases of the Pirate's Booty for $2.39 (I think it was) each! In the grocery endcaps,I found bags and bags of something called Halloween Mix-corn chips, pretzels and candy corn (sounds gross to me,but kids aren't too picky) and also some Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Sticks and those all were .59. I bought some Cake Pop mix (S'Mores),Spiced Chai and Hot Chocolate mixes all for 70% off. I was really happy with my shopping trips today and there really is nothing left at Target I want even at 90%,so I think I am done. Hoping everyone gets their holiday deals!
  5. Tuesday is the 6th. Do you mean like midnight Weds. a.m. (the 7th)? Come on Big Ads!!!!!!
  6. Glad you got some BooBerry and Frankenberry! I think with all the other chocolate cereals (Cocoa Puffs,Chocolate Rice Krispies, etc.),that Count Chocula isn't as unique, but where else can you find blueberry flavored cereal????!!!!!
  7. That is the same with me! I hadn't been in Penney's since last Christmas. Once in there,I saw some things I will definitely be getting for Christmas presents (with or with out coupons). I think just getting customers back IN the store will help them this holiday season. JMO
  8. WOW! I would buy just about anything for a quarter lol! So happy for you
  9. I have a card but rarely use it (it's one of the old ones). I never figured out why some of us get these and some don't. I have taken some surveys though; like when the CEO sends something through email. I was told yesterday by a cashier that for every $100 you spend, you get a $10 coupon,up to 10 per month but I know I used to never spend anywhere near that and got them every 3-4 months. Since they redid their stores, this was the first I'd received this whole year. I received the first through email and the second through the USPS mail.
  10. I did get a chance to go back yesterday (the last day of the sale) and found some good things in mens and still more in jewelry (really, you had to take it to the register as the scanners were not right). The cashier told me it would be GONE-as in,out of the store, never to be seen again-by Sat. night. That sale, coupled with the TWO $10 off $10 coupons I received really made me take another look at JCP. Hoping they send out some more of those coupons before Christmas.
  11. That 5% bugs me too! It was so easy to figure out the price in my head when it was "half of half-off". I got a box of BooBerry at Walgreen's on 11/1 for $1.50 and thought it would be a treat for my kids, but none of them liked it (????). I saw where folks HOARD the 3 flavors and they go for big money on ebay and the like. I didn't see any left at Target yesterday and none today at Wags. I hope you get some!
  12. I don't think so this year. This is MOO,but I actually think one of my stores went 70% Friday (maybe afternoon) because it was a MESS first thing yesterday (Sat) but still a lot left. If that was the case, then the "3 day rule" didn't apply. I really think it depends on when the holiday occurs. Since Halloween was on a Wednesday, then having the 70% off sale during the high volume weekend, they might figure they have got about as much profit out of it as they can and now it is time to get it out of there so they can totally reset for Christmas. All of that area is already Christmas except for the couple of aisles left of Halloween. I will be there at one store at opening and if it is 90% then I will do my shopping then head to one further away. If not,I will wait another day. I'm not out anything but my time and the sales are always worth the wait for me I wasn't totally impressed with what was left yesterday so I got everything I really wanted. Funny how something you wouldn't buy at 70% off will immediately go into your cart when it's 90% off! I am a Kindergarten aide and also head buyer for a charity so I am always looking for the best deals (as are we all!).
  13. Since Target likes to get a full weekend of sales before they go to 90%, I am hoping tomorrow is the day! Am hoping candy goes right to 70% too. I'll be there at opening.
  14. Don't worry Did you know that if you forget a coupon at Target, you can just bring it and the receipt in within the sale week and they will honor it? It has to be done at CS and the coupon can't be expired but still,I think that is nice. My Kroger affiliate store is the same way.
  15. I know! I woke up at 3 and thought, "Whoo hoo! I can listen to Christmas music on the tv!" I don't know if I am the only one but I also "watch" the screen too-stupid, I know but I like some of the pictures and read the Did U Know notes.
  16. I know it's 2 days later, but I stopped at WM today and the only candy left was non-chocolate. Nerds,Smarties,Dum-Dums,candy corn/pumpkins,and random other ones. I don't know if customers bought all the chocolate already or they pulled it. I had some $1 off 2 Nestle or Willy Wonka bags of candy coupons so I got 4 bags of Nerds for $2.56. Not my preferred candy but it is for school and kids will eat just about anything lol. I still have 5 more of those coupons left so I'm hoping to score at Target tomorrow. Incidentally,ALL of the Halloween candy was gone at my Kroger affiliate today and they always have tons left so I know they had to have pulled it.
  17. So excited for Costco coming to my city! Unfortunately, they haven't even broken ground yet but I'll be watching and planning for next year.
  18. JCP was my first stop today was SO thrilled with my purchases! I found a cute watch set with the price tag of $18,even with the 30% off,I thought it was too much for something I didn't really need (but wanted). I tried to scan it to see if it was actually lower, but the scanner wouldn't read it. I took it to the register along with a bunch of other stuff. I asked the cashier to price check it for me and she said it was $5.40!!!! Whoo hoo! I said, "Yes ma'am!" I used my $10 rewards and that brought it down to $3xx (the return value)! Every piece of jewelry that I took the register was FAR cheaper than the price tag said! Also, got a very nice pair of sandals for my daughter (birthday is next week) reg. price $30- rang up at $2.10! I took the stuff out to the van, then got to looking at my receipt and thought the cashier had made a mistake so I went back in. Turns out,the $10 jcp rewards prints out as a "new account" discount on the receipt so it was my error but while I was in there,I went through some more departments and found a ton more stuff for $46! Really, almost everything was lower than what the price tag said it was. Scanning was not effective as the machines weren't reading the lowest price. I scored very well in baby clearance too. Super cute summer things were marked a dollar and with the 30% off.... I am thinking of going back tomorrow to look at the purses that some have mentioned and also mens. Sorry this post is so long, but I am so excited!!!! THANKS OP!
  19. Ask him,ask him! LOL I'm dying to see these ads (Wags and CVS)!
  20. Thanks Brad
  21. You're not kidding. I remember the fiasco 2 years ago with the ITunes cards. I knew more about the sale than the employees! It was a nightmare in-store,but WM eventually made good on the sale.

    Ideas for Dad

Would he like something like a sweatshirt with the grandkids' picture on it? My dad was the same way(hard to shop for) but he proudly wore that personalized sweatshirt with the pic of the grandkids on it. If not a shirt, maybe a hat,mug (you can put many pix on one),mouse pad or any number of picture/personalized gifts from somewhere like Walmart or Walgreens. Very reasonably priced too. Other ideas: magazines like Reminisce (I got a subscription for my mom years ago,but I love it!) or Good Ol' Days. I don't know how old your dad is,but those are more like for people in their 70's and 80's. Like others have mentioned, food is always good. My dad's favorite cookie was oatmeal raisin so I always made sure to bake him a homemade batch. Anything you make or personalize will sure to bring a smile
  23. That's insane Wow-good scores! I'm hoping there will be something left when I go back on Friday (first chance I'll have).
