This is my first experience with Kohls.com but I have been pleasantly surprised at how FAST the shipping has been! Plus,everything comes well packaged (lots of those air pillows in a bigger box). I just wish their shipping made more sense: I ordered something Sunday and got it Tuesday while several of the things I ordered on Thanksgiving are just now in transit. Have to also add: free shipping was my number one reason for shopping Kohls.com this year.

My first time ordering from Target.com and it's only one thing....but I need to return it (a pair of kid's jeans). Hopefully,I won't have any trouble. Are there any hints you all have to share about how to make the transaction smoother? Target is usually so great at returns,but now I'm worried

I went to bed before the kids did last night,but got up in the middle of the night to put candy in their shoes. Lol at DS12 putting out TWO shoes

Stores like Meijer and WalMart are open 24hrs. anyway (at least they are here). Same with CVS and Walgreens. The difference is that they have special sales on Thanksgiving and that brings in the extra foot traffic. If they are already open,they might as well sell as much as they can by offering special deals.

Welcome back! You'll feel much more in control once you see what you have and what you need to get (and/or return). Maybe you could get a photobook of pix from your cruise? You can find good deals on them at Shutterfly,Walgreen's and most places. As far as answering the OP, I am in pretty good shape shopping-wise but I don't begin to wrap until I know for sure I've got the best possible price on something (so I don't have to return). I'll be done by Dec. 24 God willing :)

Which mall is that? I'm too chicken to attempt Glenbrook's parking lot on BF lol. It was bad enough last Saturday;I had to park in the overflow lot right up by Coliseum!

I agree that it's not Bait and Switch. Target and Target.com are two entities. It's a testament to their great customer service that they accommodated you and that you are one satisfied customer! More importantly,your daughter will be happy with her game :)

I don't think 8 is too young to not believe! I have a 12 y.o. that I am going to have to break the news to this year,but I did to his brother when he was 13 because I didn't want him to be embarrassed in front of his friends. I think growing into the truth is much better than having your dreams and ideas squelched by someone and it's usually someone who isn't as well-meaning as a parent. Kids have so few precious years of innocence as it is IMO.

Your plans sound a lot like mine for the holidays/gift giving but I haven't even started yet! Does it count if I most of the supplies on hand? Part of me doesn't want to start too early (freshness and quality being an issue) but if it gets too late into the season, I fear I won't have time to do anything. I usually start my holiday baking 2 weeks before Christmas.

Not much on clearance right now but you can use the P&G coupons on the gift sets they have on sale this week for $9.99. I got one of the shaving sets for $8. That makes the items cheaper than when they are separate.
