I would love to start shopping more online on BF but I've never been able to do it. I'm just so busy with Thanksgiving that I don't get a chance to. Plus, I don't want to spend my entire thanksgiving day looking for deals online. That's just me though. We have a lot of family that comes for thanksgiving and its the only time out of the year that I get to see them. I'm not closed to shopping online on thanksgiving but it will have to be later in the afternoon before I'd be able to do it. I may give it a shot this year.

Just 1 for me and I wear it to sleep in. Only b/c its an xtra large so its pretty big on me and super comfy to sleep in!

Mine was in 2001 I believe. I went 1 time before then when I was 18 and really didn't understand the grasp of BF. Me and my husband (boyfriend at the time) went to get him some tires for his truck at Sears and we were just in shock at all the people shopping. We left and said we weren't ever gonna be one of those people. Well now I am "those" people and I absolutely LOVE it!!!!!!

I am also needing to get an Xbox One this year. I hope someone has them at a good price on BF. Not sure if this will be a hot item though. I have to get an Xbox One and a Wii U ...so yay me! (in a sarcastic tone!) LOL!

I'm never able to stay on budget. I try to make it equal between my kids but it doesn't always end up like that. I do try and have atleast the same # of presents for each one. However, this year my DS is 13 and doesn't want toys like he use to and his list is ALOT shorter but still very expensive, so he may not have as many presents as his 8 year old brother who still likes toys.

I also hope that Wii U stuff will be a good sale. I haven't heard anything about Nintendo coming out with a new system, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did next year.

So, I have only found 1 great deal so far. It was back in July when Target did a Black Friday sale and I was able to get 2 things for my nieces. I am hoping to find some great deals coming up since I know in the past that some stores start their pre black Friday sales soon. Just wanted to find out if anyone else has gotten in great deals yet? I am still holding on to hoping that someone will put a good price on the Wii U and the Xbox One so I can price match at Walmart and put them on layaway.

I will be looking for a Great Wolf Lodge deal on Groupon this BF. My DS birthday is in March and that's where we took him this year and now he's wanting to go back again next year for this birthday. I am hoping I'll find one for them. I know someone who's wife got a great deal on Groupon on BF last year. It was a 5 night stay at a resort at Myrtle Beach, SC (where we normally stay and its a very nice place where it can be expensive!) and she only got it for $500! They waited until this past June to go. That's actually a great price for that resort b/c we normally pay close to $1000 for just 3 nights!

So, I look forward to BF EVERY YEAR! Its literally my favorite holiday!! Every year I am so excited and coming on this website everyday from about sept until the big day and then every day after BF. HOWEVER, it never fails, the night of BF when I head out, I always get alittle nervous. IDK why. I guess its just anxiety and hoping that I get all that I am wanting to get. I get really nervous when we show up at Walmart. I see all the cars and people who have been there since earlier that day and I just think, "there's no way there's anything left!!" Surprisingly enough, there's always stuff left and I, for the most part, get all that I am looking for, plus some! But am I the only who get these nervous/anxious feelings?

We bought our kitchen appliances 2 years ago about a week after BF. We got a really good deal and that was at Lowes. One year I had to get a new washer and dryer and got them on cyber Monday for a good deal.

I've got to get an Xbox one and a Wii U this year for my 2 DS. I'm hoping to catch someone put them on sale soon or offer a GC with a purchase of them. I know Walmart has done that in the past so I'm holding out for that. I'll keep checking here though to see if anyone posts any sales they find and post. .

Yes, I absolutely buy for myself. If I know that something I want is at a great price and probably won't be that cheap again before Christmas, then I'll go ahead and pick it up. My DH doesn't really like me doing that b/c he wants me to be surprised at Christmas and not know what I'm getting.

I can't believe that I am putting this but...Walmart!!! I use to NEVER go to walmart but started going about 4 years ago and now its taken over my "must shop at" store which use to be Target. I get so much more from Walmart and its not always just about Christmas gifts. I get stuff that I need for the house at such a good price so I look forward to going there.

I watched Ebbie already. Its an older movie with Susan Lucci in it but last year was the first time I had ever seen it and DVR'd it so I had to watch it again. I usually have 1 movie each year that I just love watching over and over. Last year it was Elf. The year before that it was The Santa Claus. No telling what it will be this year.

Cash for me, but I do use my Belk card when I shop there to earn the points. Hopefully that is the only place I use my credit card at this year.

I am needing some household products this year as well. Last year I got 800 thread count sheets at walmart for $25 and they have really surprised me. My husband is picky about our sheets and even he likes that set so I am hoping to they will have the same deal this year. I am also hoping to get a new crock pot. I need one but I don't want to buy a cheap one on BF and it not be a nice one. I am hoping WM will have a good one on sale or maybe Kohls. If I go to Kohls this year it will only be for household products.

Has anyone heard of Target, Best Buy, etc doing any pre BF deals before BF? I was just reading some of my old posts and saw that I had put on there that I had gotten some stuff from Target last year around this time and it got me thinking about this. I know Target did a good sale in July b/c I got my 2 nieces a nice gifts but I haven't heard anything recently.

I am hoping to find a good sale on a tv this year. I don't need a huge tv b/c its going on my screened in porch so I'm hoping to find something around 32in at Walmart. I just hate to stand in that line. The last time I bought a tv it was for a 20 some inch tv for my son and had to stand in line at Walmart for over 2 hours. It sucked but luckily my mom was there and we would take turns shopping and bringing stuff back to our cart to buy.

I've now got 2 right but it may go up...my 8ds wants an itouch and my 13ds wants an iphone. I know I won't find them on sale since Apple never puts them on sale, but I'm hoping to find them where I would get a gc if I buy them.

I've been here for the past few weeks checking in and reading all the comments! I love this site and even more this time of year!!! I've gotta get serious about buying for Christmas though. I kinda want to wait until BF for all the great deals, but when I do that, I end up spending ALLLL of my weekends from then until Christmas doing nothing but shopping b/c there's so many people that I buy for and can't do it financially all in 1 weekend (nor the energy to do so). I'd like to have atleast 1 weekend in December to just enjoy the season and watch movies and bake lots of goodies. I usually get 1 Sunday to do all of this so I'd like to enjoy it more.

I've bought 2 gifts and a few stocking stuffers but that's it. I really want to start buying but I'm afraid of I buy it now then I'll miss the chance to get it at a much better price on BF. If I do see something that I know is a fabulous deal then I'll pick it up before BF. I just haven't found anything yet. Plus i don't really know what all my kids and husband wants this year yet. I'm ready to start buying though. My Christmas fund is dying to start burning a hole in my pocket. LOL!!!

My favorite memory of BF is when we were able to shop in our local city and the crowd wasn't bad. My first BF, I only had about $200 bc I was a newly wed and we were broke but j was able to get soooo much stuff and have been hooked ever since. My worst memory was when I was in line to get into Macy's. Me and my MiL were talking to the 2 ladies in front of us and they seemed so sweet. One lady had crutches bc she had hurt her leg and as soon as the doors opened up she threw her crutches up to keep people from running past her and her mom and hit me in the stomach in doing so. I quickly pushed it back at her and was just in disbelief how quickly her niceness turned to bring so mean. I certainly wasn't gonna skip them but she got "serious" right quick like. LOL! Oh and 1 year I was an hour or so away from home and got sick with a virus while shopping. Stopping to go to the bathroom bc I had it coming out at both ends was horrible but I some how pushed thru and got a lot of shopping done. Needless to say, I was in the bed sick as a dog for the next 3 days afterwards.

DS wants an itouch so I'm hoping to get one that comes with a gift card of some sort!
