It's definitely a YMMV situation; I just want people to be clear on the 2 policies so that they can be prepared with the proper information if they choose to make calls, speak to managers, etc...
-
No that is price matching what I was pointing out was the difference between price/ad matching and Christmas ad match which is the link everyone keeps posting as proof. Those are 2 difft policies. The link you provided is for general price/ad matching.

I think we can only go by what information is given out via the ad, their website and individual store info. If your store says they aren't price matching door busters okay but corporate has not said it and I have not seen any signs in my local Walmarts. Also, Christmas ad match and general price matching are not the same and that is what I and several other posters have been trying to clear up on several threads now. There's definitely no reason for anyone to attempt to insult or demean one another when we are all here for the same reasons. Price matching is when an item is currently on sale elsewhere and Walmart matches that price; the item must be currently on sale and you purchase it at Walmart during the time frame of the other store's sale. Christmas ad match says you can buy an item between 11/1/13-12/24/13 and if it goes on sale AFTER you have purchased it at Walmart, bring in your receipt during that sale and they give you the difference on a gift card. They will not be honoring Christmas ad match on Thanksgiving/Black Friday; that is the disclaimer everyone keeps posting to prove they will not be price matching even though it says on the front of the ad that they will. They are not the same policy at all...

Never mind, PP already explained....
-
This is what I've been saying; there's general price matching and then Christmas ad match which involves the item ALREADY being purchased at Wal-Mart. It makes sense that they would limit the latter bc could you imagine cashiers and/or customer service dealing with that along with all the other stuff on Thanksgiving/Black Friday.

Aww that sucks....any chance you can have it before Christmas? Or if it's right after maybe you can give a "santa's sleigh ran out of room" IOU...

All of the actual memberships are free; status is based on how much you spend at Best Buy or on their MasterCard branded card. I believe PP gave the $ amount for the elite level already.

It's only those hours usually and it's nothing like BF @ Walmart at least not at the Sam's in my area. It's essentially an after hours sale; HTH.

Not sure of in-store but they do a Cyber Monday sale online on some of the accessories; of course the free shipping is usually done at that point. Last year I got several items for DD10; I already have the things she wants this year in my shopping cart. Many things are starting to get backordered so I will probably be placing my order within the next week or so.

I am happy to say that I am about 50% done!! DD10 is practically finished; just need to order some wedge sneakers and her American Girl stuff. DS6: there's probably 6-8 gifts left but I'm waiting on ads to see lego deals and video games. DD3: probably 6-8 gifts left but I'm starting to draw a blank. She has Doc McStuffins stuff, I already have the Talking Sophia the 1st and a Loving Family Dollhouse. DS17: Xbox one pre-ordered; Battlefield 3 for PS3 when eBay had it for $46. I also got xbox live for $39.99 when they had that. Only thing left is Call of Duty: Ghosts and the new Assassins Creed along with a North Face hoodie and a few gift cards. DH: I completely wing it with him bc he will always say he wants nothing. My mom: I'm going to do a pampering basket and I think I may make her a photo book with pictures of my kids through the years. And did I mention that I already started wrapping

Any time I don't feel appreciated, I simply stop doing those things. Sometimes, our loved ones need a reminder of the things that they take for granted. Start doling out assignments to family members; someone can decorate, one can be in charge of baked goods, etc. The holidays are about family and other loved ones so it should be a joint effort. I also find that I need to make time for myself no matter how bogged down I am; that can be as simple as holing up in the living room and reading or just going to Starbucks getting a drink and people watching. Also, do not be afraid to say exactly how you feel. I know with my DH he often doesn't realize how much I dislike particular things because I always do them. Me simply saying I don't want to do this all the time, why don't you take it over goes a long way. Ditto for my children and the things they can help out with.

There's Under Armour hoodies in Sports Authority's Black Friday ad. Under Armour also has an online outlet; sign up for their emails and you'll be notified of sales, new outlet items, etc.

I've started wrapping. All gifts wrapped & unwrapped are stored in totes; once wrapped I put a # on the gift. That coincides to a list I have so that I can go back later and do tags & bows. I'd start with the tags now but I can't find my other stash of them

I believe OP is asking what stores will price match TRU.
-
No that actually references their Christmas Ad Match where you have already purchased the item from them and someone else has it for a lower price.

groupon has $10 Starbucks eGift Card for $5

Ordered!! It's a great deal! -
I would love to get it at that price as well but there's no way I'm getting to TRU at 3 or so to stand in line. Here's to hoping that Amazon matches the price on the Disney blu-rays.

That's a pretty great price for that; it's going for $70-80 on Walmart.com right now and I think it's on sale somewhere this week for $75.
