I'll be doing a combination of the 2 as I have for a few years now. Once I see my must have items then I know what prices I can jump on. I'll step out late Thursday night and again Friday morning.

BF 2006 I was in my car waiting for the mall to open the doors so we could line up inside for KB Toys. In my excitement once the doors were unlocked, I never took my keys out of the ignition. I simply jumped out and locked my door; a habit. It was 4:30 in the morning. I called DH (then BF) and he went to my moms to get my spare, brought them to me, and then went on to work. Since I had to wait anyway, I went in and did my shopping bc there was no point in me losing out:) it was that day that I knew DH was a keeper.

This is my 10th year of Black Friday shopping. I love it and even though I only needed a few items last year I headed out anyway; something about the hustle & bustle of it all I long for the days of lining up at KB Toys, dragging my bag through the store and then high failing it to Best Buy for movies and video games.

My guess would be the week of 11/2.

I can and that is an option I'm considering.

At this point in the game I wouldn't consider the wii unless you have younger kids and are buying it used with a nice amount of games. Most of the new games aren't even being made for it so you could find your kids wanting games that can't be played on their system.

2 Black Fridays ago saw DH participating in his 1st BF experience; we had just had our basement refinished and needed a nice TV for it. We stood in line at Sams's Club and got the 65 inch Vizio smart tv for $899 I believe. That night gave me some great memories I always pick up a movie or two for myself; would love to get a nice DSLR this year.

So far I need the Doc McStuffins mobile check-up center and 3 - 32 inch flat screens as we are upgrading the kids tv's. My "buy it" price on those is $150 each. No one has given an official list but I have some ideas: DS18 an Xbox one game, some blu-rays and cash DD11 clothes, nail wraps and maybe a pair of beats by dre DS7 Russell Wilson or Richard Sherman jersey, big lego set, Madden 25 or 15 (he's young enough to not care if it's the newest version or not) DD4 3ds of her own so she can stop taking everyone else's and the doc McStuffins center. DH no idea and he's no help; I'm thinking of doing gift cards to Wawa and Dunkin Donuts as he frequents those places on his way to work.

I'm keeping my eye out on the Doc McStuffins Mobile check-up center for DD4; retail is 49.99 and Target will have it next week for 44.99. I don't know if I want to get it at that price along with my red card discount or wait for the TRU big toy book and Target's toy book to see if there's a coupon or if it will drop a little lower in price. I know it's a hot item so I don't want to wait too long and get stuck on a search as this is the 1 definite toy I know she wants.

Target, Best Buy, Walmart I shop Best Buy online early because I'm elite plus and Target is usually a combo of online and in-store...Walmart is just a toss up bc I refuse to go out that early but I still like to see the ad.

I don't shop year round but I try and start by September; I'm late this year and just purchased my first items today. For me, Black Friday is when I'm finishing up on all the must haves on my kids list; December is generally just me buying stocking stuffers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Last year it was up in the air if I was going out as there was not much "in store only" that I needed; I decided around 9 to head to Target. Got there after opening and was in and out with the things that I went for (fleece pajama bottoms and baby doll set). There was only 1 item that I did not get. I then headed to Walmart just because and ended up with a few dvd's. After that I was back home and only went out in the morning for Bath & Body Works and pointsiettas from Home Depot. This year I'm hoping that I will need more as I love being out and about in the madness but if not I'll be fine shopping from the comfort of my bed

I also enjoyed the longer list of questions; although I must confess to leaving 1 or 2 questions blank. It did make it easier to think of and even eliminate gift choices for my Secret Santa.

I placed an order at Macy's 12/3 during Friends & Family. Shipping notification was sent 12/11; I checked over the weekend and it said UPS hadn't picked it up yet. Since I'm in NJ and we've had all types of weather lately I gave it another day or so. Checked today and same thing. Called Macy's only to be told that it is still in the warehouse and they have no idea why it hasn't been sent out yet. They put a call in to the warehouse and said they will make sure it's sent expedited...I'm not getting my hopes up. Placed an order at Target and ordered 2 of the same item. Shipment comes today and of course they only sent 1; they can send the item but I won't have it by Christmas and they won't expedite to make it right with the customer (way to go). I've been to 2 different Targets tonight and of course it's out of stock. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will be restocked by Sunday.

I was done with the kids until I checked a few sites yesterday: ended up ordering from Amazon, Best Buy and Target. I've gotten shipping notices for everything except a game and movie from Target. All the gifts that are at the house are wrapped and labeled except for those that I choose to leave unwrapped. I still need to finish shopping for DH and my mom (gift cards). Then it's only grocery shopping and picking up batteries
