I got terrible games at TRUs B2G1 and exchanged them at walmart for the titles i wanted. they want your drivers license but theyll do it. They will only give you store credit though. Also, a few years ago i returned something to target without a receipt. they game me credit but i had to spend it all in that items department. It was really weird.

mine came yesterday. i ordered the philips surround sound thing and it shipped in the original box and was just fine. all of my movies and games shipped in one cube shaped box. it was crushed but since that part of the box was empty nothing was damaged. my cd shipped via usps in a weird huge cardboard envelope and arrived about 3 days ago and my memory was in a bubble envelope and arrived with all my stuff yesterday even though they sent me an email saying it was backordered. If you have the tracking number with ups once it shows delivered it lists where it was left (mine all said porch).

i got something in the mail from them that made me consider switching. theyre giving away a free portable dvd player with remote and there are no set up free plus you get three free months of three movie channels.

there was a deal on there the other day that had cheap jewelry for piercings. you could get her a lip ring with a cute ball. hot topic also has some cheap mixed cds so you could get her one in the genre of her choice. hot topic also usually has their clearance stuff online so you could get her some clothes in her size very cheap. you could get all of those things together for under $30. When i was into my goth thing thats where i got all my stuff. also black nail polish. maybe some eyeliner. you can get a girly goth gift :)

yeah, you can always save your receipt and return the brand new one that you bought at the sale price for the full price where you bought it. I do that a lot. Or when TRU did the B2G1 on wii games i bought all $50 terrible games and exchanged them for good games at walmart who doesnt care about receipts.

i wound up getting like a $400 credit back on my debit card and then i asked if id be able to add the $10 off $100 coupon they mailed me and they did it on a separate receipt and gave me back $10 cash. It was funny because when i walked up to the register i handed them my receipt and said that i needed to price adjust it and the woman asked me which item. my answer was all of them. a few minutes later happy receipts with negative amount came out for me! :)

try going to the mall. ours has a candyopolis or whatever they've named it now that allows you to get individual flavors by weight.

my fiance' occasionally does that for tips at restaurants.

try macmall.com they usually have them for a few dollars off but they come with some great accessories (like fm transmitter and case etc)

theres a four star hotel that i stay at in dallas (a boutique hotel) ive gone there maybe 3 times and i always call them and get a quote and then ask if thats the best they can do and they lower it and i ask again. once they get to the lowest price that stops and i get my room for $109 instead of $200. You just have to be comfortable and polite in asking. I do also always call like the week of though. Also, this particular hotel opened less than a year before my first stay so im like a special member to them.

You can save your games with the arcade because it comes with a memory card. You may have to go to 3 stores but you should be able to get one closer to christmas. What about putting one away on layaway (if anywhere still has it)? amazon should have them in stock too. And if you order close to christmas you can just do the amazon prime free trial for 2 day shipping.

i like to hiss at people who are getting to close or trying to grab the last of an item when i was there first. it REALLY throws them off. and then theyre too busy being puzzled/afraid to do anything before you walk off.

i had to go to several sam's clubs but i finally got mine. DH was ELATED! now i just have to cancel my amazon preorder. i was thinking about selling it at a fair price (ie around what it would be with tax at a store) since it will be here before christmas. any thoughts on that?

Thats CRAZY! I still have their catalog. I think maybe their server is just really messed up because it pulls up an error.
