That isn't a bad deal to get those coupons for larger amounts of spending but the discount is the same. $10 off of $50 is still 20%.

Thank you. We are updating our workshop and this will come in handy.
  3. Thank you OP so very much! I just ordered two in separate orders for gifts. Again, thank you!
  4. I went to another VS today in a little less "uppity" area and they had the extra 50% off. I got some great deals. Thanks for posting this.
  5. The Waldenbooks at my local mall is closing. Tomorrow is the last day. They had some things for 75% off but most of the books were 40% off. Of course I found enough books to spend way more money than I should have.
  6. I went in today and in SC, there are many things 75% off but no extra 50%. I did buy a few things but I wanted that extra 50 %
  7. My LNT has a big note on the door saying that they will no longer take ANY LNT or competitor coupons.
  8. There is a great site online that sells all kinds of pet supplies much cheaper than anywhere I have found. It is kvvet.com. The same puppy training pads sell at Petsmart for $26.95 per pack and they are $16.95 with free shipping through this place.
  9. My store wasn't on the original list but now they are all closing. I went today and there were NO deals at all. Nothing marked down but they had signs everywhere stating that they would not honor coupons, competitor coupons, and no checks. They only accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
  10. Probably my worst BF was last year. My daughter and I left home at 11pm on Thanksgiving night. We had spent a couple of hours Thanksgiving Day making a list of stores we were hitting, items to be purchased and the time the stores opened. We knew we could be out of some stores before others opened. We stopped at a convenience store for coffee and some light snacks before heading to Best Buy. We got to the BB parking lot and the line was already extremely long so we went to Sears. We were the only people there so we sat in the car. When another car pulled up around 4am, we decided to get in line. My daughter decided to count her cash prior to leaving the car. Now mind you, I asked her twice before leaving home if she had her wallet and her cash. She assured me that she did. Well, all of a sudden, she was in utter panic mode because her wallet was gone and she had over $700 in there. We called home and asked DH to look in her room for her wallet. He told us that the wallet was not there. We left Sears and went back to the convenience store and asked the clerk if he had found a wallet. Nope! We ended up driving back home (about 20 miles) to find her wallet right in her room where we had asked DH (that does not stand for "dear" either lol) to look. Of course, we were both relieved but mad because we were going to be late for everything. Anyway, we left home again and went to K-Mart (it was closer) and got everything I had on my list. We then went to Sears and yep, we got everything there on our list. We left Sears and went to BB and figured we were wasting time but we got a 22 inch monitor and an external hard drive which were our two main items. We did miss some things like our Radio Shack purchases and our Target purchases but I guess it wasn't a bad ending to a horrible start.

  12. I bought some of that too and loved it. I can't find it anymore either and wonder if they have stopped making it.
  13. You are 100% correct about how the carrier picks up the phone (except I didn't know all the technical stuff like you). You can buy any phone for our AT&T carrier and it will pick it with no problems. This was why I didn't understand having to wait for a tech to buy one. I did make hubby wait for another phone LOL. He got tired of waiting and went to Wal-Mart yesterday and bought himself one. And all they did was scan it through the cash register. No tech and no activation. Works like a charm! Maybe if he has to buy his own now he might be more careful ??
  14. Thank you for posting this! I went this morning and got my doggie bones. I will go back tomorrow for more.
