I've found that macmall.com usually has the best price. They normally run like a dollar or two less than retail but they come with about a hundred dollars worth of accessories. They also run clearance type deals on the last generation of ipods.

Olevia 1080 37" LCD and DVD boxed sets. That seems to be the only 1080 LCD in the lower price ranges on BF. Ive heard that they usually have lots of toys. The PSP will probably be hot if thats what people are after. It is a good deal. Id say grab the psp then the doll.

just the gameboy advance and ds games work. the older gameboy and gameboy color games dont work because the casing is a little bit different.

lowe's (or home depot) does 5% off gift cards purchased by realtors. sooo.... if you have friends or family in real estate thats an option for you. Also, several companies will give you a discount if you buy a certain amount. if theres a specific store that youre after there should be a phone number or email on their site so ask around!

the games are uno, luxor 2, feeding frenzy, boom boom rocket, and pac man championship edition. there are also demos on the disc for frogger and four other games. i really enjoy them. and considering their cost to download the games its kinda worth it if thats your thing.

oh, also quite a few of them have those disney mix stix things.... some sd card with a movie on it i guess.... princess diaries is like... less than $5 ... i cant remember. they had a lot though

Id say ds. Its much more durable and forgiving and it fits better in your pocket. also there are far more games out there and they're cheaper new. unless of course he is after movies or music and games then id suggest the psp. It all depends on what games he likes the most. pokemon, mario, sonic etc are on the ds... plus it plays the game boy advance games so it has a HUUUUGE library.

i recommend used games. try craigslist and your local gamestop/eb games. also i have gamepass at blockbuster. DH and I are both gamers and so we decided to do that. no contract, two games out at a time with no due dates-$38/mo. I get to play all the new games without paying full price. then when they get old we buy them used or new for cheap. This has saved us so much trouble. sometimes games look great but then you spend the fifty or $60 and get it home and its terrible and theres nothing you can do except trade it in for a lot less than you spent. this also helps cut down on spending money on games that only get played for a month

a really nice cell phone? like pda with the internet style? a projector and theater style seating and surround sound? blu-ray? a soda fountain? (i have one that i got off of craigslist and i LOVE it- you could do energy drinks in it) a nice digital camera or camcorder or two in one? an external hard drive? (one of the ones that doesnt have to plug in for power) that new sony ebook reader filled with r.a. salvatore' books? you could even get the new cell phone and fill it with ra salvatore books depending on which one you get. you can get them off of craigslist for prices on new ones somewhere in between the one year contract price and no contract price. The difference is the size, shape, and weight. Also, the ds lite supposedly has a longer lasting battery (the ds batteries last forever anyway). The lite has a better, brighter, backlit screen. If youre getting it for a younger child i'd say go with the ds because its a bit more durable. The ds lite is REALLY glossy so it gets scratched etc. easier. OH! on the ds lite if youre going to play gameboy advance games they stick out of the system which irritates me whereas with the ds they do not.

I like the arcade games... im so addicted to uno... but you can buy that for $4.99 on one of those download cards at walmart or target. id go with the pro one, not the elite. if youre going to play xbox games you will need to have the hard drive. the memory card will not work. if you already have an xbox and plan on keeping it then get the arcade. the games are fun. it doesnt come with component cables though so if you have hd youre going to want to get the pro. it does make a difference. i have the arcade and DH has the pro from launch. sometimes if i want to download a game or a free demo to play you have to have the hard drive no matter what. the memory unit that the arcade comes with is really useful if youre going to go to a friends house to play on their console. sorry this is so disjointed but i hope you can use this information to make the best decision for you.

This is good through Dec 31 i believe. I ordered when they did $10 off two for DH for his birthday and they came in about 3 weeks to a month later. so if youre getting them for christmas i would wait to order them unless you want to spoil the surprise.
