My husband came home last night telling me that one of our friends got a 52" projection TV at Target on clearance for $499!!! Hubby has been wanting a TV sooo bad- I think he was wondering why I didn't find it first!

Okay, this might seem dorky, but I am looking for cherry chip frosting and/or cake mix. I found the cake mix today (two boxes only!) at Safeway, but not the matching frosting so I settled for rainbow chip. They had plain cherry, but no cherry chip. It seems that they have this only around V-day and I like to stock up as it is my fave. Has anyone seen this at Walmart or Target or anywhere like that?

Not in my state- I just took one dog this morning to get his shots! Ours are $15 each and that includes the little tag for the humane soceity for them to wear (not the license)

Have to agree on this one- LOVE the brew station- everyone I have ever told about it has gotten one too! You can always make less coffee than it holds also, but still have the capacity in case you have company

I use Gurney's sometimes- a catalog- they always have coupons, I think the first catalog you get has $25 worth of free merchanside (you have to pay shipping) and then the later catalogs usually have $25 off $50 purchase. There is also Henry Fields, they have coupons and lots of seeds. If you like Burpee, their catalog has $5 off $30 purchase coupon. I kind of spread my purchases out over several catalogs to take advantage of all of their free coupons. I also use Michigan Bulb, I think Audobon something, Breck's, etc.

Has anyone seen Corningware on sale anywhere? I got a really nice set for Christmas, not sure what store it is from, and my mom saw it and loved it- would like to get her a set maybe for her birthday.:) (It would help if I spelled it right)!!!

our store in Colo Spgs this morning had lots of food-type items on clearance- some of the signs said 15% but they were more like 30%- I got lots of the big family packs like individual chips, gatorade, granola bars, stuff for lunches. They had tons of cereal and oatmeal giant packs too

When we were at BB this last weekend, we asked the salesgirl if they would match Circuit City's 3 years no interest deal on TVs and she said they dont really match that the same as prices, but that if you get a manager and have another place that will do your credit terms they will usually work something out to keep your business there

When we were at Circuit City yesterday (for about the 10th time this week) looking at TV's, our favorite saleguy said the best sales would be starting the day after the Super Bowl- he said they sell the most TVs during football season, so there will be huge markdowns- keeping our fingers crossed!

My family loves the Brunswick Bowling game.... my mom and stepdad want to get a Wii now. We also like the Tiger Woods golf game. My son (12) really likes the Prince of Persia game and Mario and Sonic Olympics. We tried the Pinbusters bowling and it was pretty lame as well as the fantasy golf. The Wii Play games are fun- we like the fishing and the cow race- we are wanting to try the bass fishing tournament game and the new underwater diving game

you might check and see if you can find their ad for the week (sometimes they have them in-store)- a lot of times they have a coupon on the front for $$ off a certain purchase amount (maybe $20 off $100?)

I am looking for some new flannel shirts for my hubby- his all seem too small now! Has anyone seen them on clearance anywhere? I really like the extra thick ones at JCP, but any would be okay.

my mom had a Wii bowling incident with my dog! She was "throwing" the ball and my dog decided to try and sneak past real quick right at that moment and her hand connected with my dog's snout- of course, my dog let out a huge yelp and looked stunned- my mom looked like she was going to cry because she felt so bad! Needless to say, no one was really hurt, but my dog has been staying a little more away when we are playing Oh yeah, after reading the article about what to expect in the year to come and should you wait to buy the Wii- I don't think I would- for the ages of your children listed there are plenty of games- the games that the "critics" look for would be way beyond what your kids would want (or you would want them to play) at this point anyway.

we have the tennis racket, golf club and baseball bat and love it- would still be fun without, but more fun with. My sons plays the most, but our friends come over to play and gma and gpa are coming to play tomorrow!

My hubby and I got the FP I Can Play Piano yesterday for about 16 bucks for my niece for her b-day. My son is too old for toys now so that is about all we got! Good deal though, clearance sticker said it was 65 before

I agree with spending more for a better chair! I work at home and have bought several chairs in the last year when they were on sale trying to save some money and keep going back to my old one- btw, if you are going to use it a lot I have discovered not to get "manager's chairs"- they must be made for managers that dont do a lot of work! Very uncomfortable if you are actually typing/working a lot! :)

we bought our last set from Denver Mattress Co (furniture row, oak express) and it was a pretty good deal- have had it 3 1/2 years- still comfortable, still it great shape
