Doesn't sound like too bad a deal to me. Last month we got a Hitachi 50" full HD with power swivel, open box at Circuit City, 1650 on clearance, haggled down to 1350, then got an extra 300 off for signing up with Directv, and no interest for 36 mos. Love the power swivel- we have a sort of rectangle living room so nice to be able to move it for better viewing =)

Anyone seen any good deals on the stand alone type swings with the canopy thing on them?

Same stuff again this week at my Target (Colo Spgs)- the listerine white strips- still at least 15 of them- the ones with mouthwash and strips from around xmas were still 12.50 =( Have been waiting for them to go down a very long time. I did get a nice laptop bag with a removable sleeve for 12.48 from 49.99 =)

I get the solar covers they have at Wal-mart- they are a total cover and solar- some solar covers just float on the surface of the water and that doesnt work for me- too many bugs and stuff get in it. And if you are going to get a solar cover, I would recommend getting one now or the first time you see them in the store- if you wait until summertime all of the people that bought a pool and discover the cover it comes with lasts about two weeks have bought all of them already!

My Target had the Crayola sprayer refills on clearance (maybe 50%) and they were kind of mixed in with the bows/tissue/wrapping paper type clearance.

Kinda the same old stuff at my Target today. Same scrapbook stuff still only 50% off as well as wrapping paper and bows, listerine white strips still 50% off (still holding out- they still had a whole endcap full!). Not much else. Had some laundry detergent but only 15% off? They did have lots of beauty clearance- I got a Revitalift mini-peel kit for 50% off- only one so I bought it- only 9.98. Flea drops for dogs on clearance too- got those for the summer.

I wish the Tony Stewart car was 9.95 instead of 24.95 Great deals anyway!

nothing real exciting at my target today.... there are still tons of listerine whitening packs with the mouthwash and disolving strips down to 12.50 now.... Since there were so many I am taking my chances and hoping they will go just a bit lower

I agree that the end price comes out the same, but in the cases I was talking about the end price did not end up being $20, it ended up being about $120. My point also was that there is no way shipping would be $119 or even $59 on the item I was looking at. I would reasonably pay $20-$30 on a big heavy item. I have been shopping around and the CD towers can be quite expensive, but I have not encountered any other site to purchase from except for Ebay that would charge a shipping price like that, no matter what the price of the item. And Ebay should care that people are doing that, because it is ripping them off, even if their selling prices are excessive. I believe that what comes around goes around and ripping someone off ever is wrong.

So I have been looking for a CD storage tower, one with a door so you cannot see the CDs and I tried Ebay this morning. I have shopped on Ebay for several years now and have noticed in the last year or two that shipping prices have gone up, but today I found more ridiculous shipping prices than I have ever seen. One CD tower was 59.99 to ship (59.99 to purchase also so a total of 120 bucks) and then I found one for .99 bid, 10.00 Buy it now, and $119.00 to ship!!!!! You have seriously got to be kidding me. I know I can just chose not to buy things from a particular seller, but this is getting ridiculous. They are trying to change how things work on Ebay, maybe they should try fixing the ridiculous price-gouging shipping costs. I mean, we shipped a HUGE box of Christmas presents all of the way across the country at xmas, it weighed like 30-40 pounds, and still cost only $35 with insurance. I guess I will have to try somewhere else....

If you can find an address/info for them, you should sent them a letter stating that you did not order the magazine, that you told them no on the phone, etc, and keep a copy of it and send it certified so they have to sign for it and you get the little receipt thing with their signature on it back to you

My Target wasnt the best today. No more GB- all patio sets and stuff in now. Scrapbook stuff same as last week still. I did find a cool gaming chair for $10 instead of $40- going to put it up for easter egg hunt prize (yes, my son is getting a little old for it, but too bad- I dont have little kids!) Other than that, not much exciting stuff. Still had hte listerine strips at 17.50 and didnt want to pay that much. Had lots of snow shovels on clearance

Has anybody seen clearance on anything like laundry hampers? I am looking for a sort of nice one, maybe wood or light colored wicker, possibly with a liner? Just started looking for one so I can't remember if there was anything on clearance in that part of hte store?

We went to Lowe's this weekend to find one more cabinet to match the 1 cent ones we got- our Home Depot is apparently not carrying that color stain anymore so that is why they were getting rid of them- Lowe's had a similar color- found a huge 84" x 24" pantry type cupboard in a similar stain (not exact, but close enough for me!)- was marked $100 from $299, hubby talked them down to $50 since a door was cracked a bit on the side. Got some wood glue for that. Not as good of a deal as the 1 cent cupboards, but still pretty darn happy- now our laundry room got redone for $50.02! =)

When we went to Seaworld San Diego last year, I looked on Ebay and lots of people had special codes to get discount tickets (i.e. the corporations they work for get discounts) and I paid maybe 5 bucks to get the code and then got my tickets for super cheap online using the code they provided me- I think I got ours for 40% off? Had to buy 4 adult tickets (I think kids tickets are only for 9 and under or something like that so my son and nephew had to have adult tix)- I think I saved close to $100

We have found scratch and dent stuff at Home Depot before, just never this good of a deal! You can usually ask someone and they will tell you where it is, one of our Home Depot's has a whole aisle of it, but they were the ones that only wanted to give $20 off a cabinet with a big broken chunk out of it. Usually it is toward the back of the store, sometimes sitting on the ground, sometimes on shelves, sometimes both. In the case of the 1 cent cabinets, they were sort of between the nice kitchen displays (the ones that are part of a kitchen with cupboards and sink and stuff so you can design yours) and the appliances. Not all Home Depot's are set up the same, but they were just kind of sitting there so we asked about them. Good luck!

I forgot to add earlier- in the section by party supplies, stuff like that, on one of the endcaps they had a bunch of the leftover football stuff, but they had some High School Musical 2 stuff shoved in with it- not sure if this is just my store or not, but just in case someone is looking for that stuff =)

Awesome day at Target!!! V-Day stuff was 90% off at my store. Also had scrapbook and party supplies and wrapping paper supplies on clearance. Had coupons and a $5 GC from when I bought dog chow last time, so got a whole cart full of stuff for $28 Yay!

I got a dirt devil carpet cleaner/vacuum the same way- I think they wont sell the displays until they are not carrying that model anymore, then put them as clearance. Mine had no manual with it, but I printed it online =)

I just thought I would share the awesome deal we got at Home Depot yesterday! We wanted to get some new cupboards/cabinets for our laundry as we had a freestanding one and it took up tons of room and never stood quite level. So we went to tons of stores. The first Home Depot had a sort of broken one and would only take off about $20 so we said no way. The next Home Depot, however, had some stuff sitting in the back of the nice kitchen area (where they have kitchens set up for ideas). So my hubby asked them about these two boxes of cupboards sitting there and no one knew anything about them. Finally, the appliance guy who has helped us before and is really nice looks up the SKU and they come up at 1 cent each! Well, now my hubby is determined to get them for 1 cent. So another employee comes up and is really rude and says if they are 1 cent they are going to be destroyed and we can't have them, too bad. My hubby asks the other guy to call the manager, who finally comes and says if they are ringing up at 1 cent we have to sell them for that!!! Yay! I actually handed the checkout clerk two pennies to pay. She just laughed. So, make sure if you find something sitting around out of place at Home Depot to have it price checked and get a manager if one employee is being a jerk!

my walmart had thermal underwear bottoms and tops on clearance for 2.50 a package any size
