I have three who wanted these, but I said no before they were even recalled last year, because my kids put everything in their mouths. (and I wonder why they're sick all the time!! Yikes!!) I'm just not sold that they're safe, just because they put a new label on the box and market it under a new name. f you put a plate of crap in front of you and then try to pass it off with some seasonings and make a nice display...you still have a plate of crap in front of you. Sorry.

If you're not interrested in the drums, then go for GH III and save yourself a few bucks on BF, since 2-3 of the stores have the bundles on sale. You could always download the songs for GHWT later.

This is correct!! The cymbals are optional, come in a two and will come in a three pack in the future and they will only work on the RB 2 Drumkit, because the input jacks weren't built on the RB 1 set. Now......if you're a youtube junkie, you could watch a video of a guy try and solder his fingers together, as he attempts to wire the cymbals to the set himself, and try to do the mods yourself, but I suggest you just watch and laugh.....I know I do. IMO- Get the RB2 kit with the 2-cymbal pack. They'll work just fine for your kids.

My DW's B-Day is December first. And I have two nephews right after Christmas and two kids B-Days on the first week of January.

RB 1 has a wireless guitar, but the mic and drums are wired. And I think you can import both the songs from RB 1 and the RB 1 Expansion Pack, but you need a memory card to store it. The Wii's memory isn't enough to hold them all. Some things I've heard about the RB 2 drums is that they have the quiet pads already on them and the cymbal packs give the option of a better feel to actual drumming, but also heard that the pads really aren't that much quieter as they say it is, and that the Cymbals slide down when they're hit. The pedal on 2 is a better design.

Wal Mart had one last year. And I know many stores listed an on-line Turkey Day sale, but waited til the week before BF to announce it. Believe me, when GD gets the notice and verify's it....Brad and Co will post it.

We used to play a game called Hollywood Craps. For four people.....things you need: 2 dice A single deck of cards Poker Chips or Pennies You take a single deck of cards and take out the Kings, Aces and Jokers. Deal out the deck to 4 people and line up the cards in front of you for all to see. Take turns rolling the dice and when the numbers come up, remove the corresponding cards. I.E. roll a 2 and 3 you can take off the two and three cards, or you can combine them to take off a five. If you roll a 12, you can take off the ten and two or a Queen. When you roll a number you don't have, it's a miss and you put two to four pennies/chips in a central pot. (decide it before you start) The pot gets claimed whenever someone rolls doubles or wins. You can actually do this tournament style four at a time and have the four winners play in a final after dinner. It's not rocket science.

Yes...Thanks! BTW- The answer to #5 in rd 12 was the fact that there was a swing in the backyard. The cane in the corner was a sign to the mother that Santa was there, which the boyfriend understood.
