  1. Are they dropping the prices on accessories as well or just the gaming system?
  2. Wii would be the better option since it's more inviting and user friendly to both kids and adults. If you want a system that plays the more advanced games and also plays blu-rays, then go the PS3 route.
  3. You're next contest should be "Predict which store's lawyer contacts Brad and threatens legal action if he runs an ad!!"
  4. I lost the dog battle two years ago, 5-1!! Guess who picks up after the dog...me! Guess who feeds the dog.....me! Guess who gives the dog water.......me! Guess who pays the damned vet bill.....me! Guess who WON"T be letting another animal into my house again?!?!?!
  5. Lottery Tickets!
  6. No problem. My kids just sock skate on the wood floor in the entryway and they're happy with that.
  7. Hey!! What items are you excluding from your lists this year even though your kids "Really Really" want them?? Sock Skates- Two pieces of plastic that you strap to your feet so you can skate on the rug. My friend's daughter broke her arm and another's son ended up with stitches in the his after he crashed and had a lamp land on his head. Everytime my kids see them, their eyes light up like a Christmas Tree (no pun intended)...especiallly when they're doing tricks off the tables. NO!! NO!! Pixo's- From their first inception, I had a bad feeling about them and felt great about they're recall. Then they came back, safer, but still a nitemare to the laundry! NO!! NO!! Bendaroo's- Melted wax on a string. Clever, but another nitemare if it reaches the dryer. NO!! NO!! Moon Sand- I don't think I need to go into specifics here. NO!! NO!! these are some of mine.......more later!
  8. I got shafted this year because I was sick when the Holiday Schedule went out and had to take what was left. 4-12 Thanksgiving, 4-12 X-mas Eve and 8-4 on NYE. (yuk!!) I could have bumped some people because I do have seniority here, but I didn't want to walk back after a three-month absence, and start acting like a jackass because of the Holiday Schedule. So I'll do 4-12 Thanksgiving, go sleep for about four hours and then get in line at TRU around 4:30.
  9. 1- Cash 2- Coffee 3- Wife 4- Blankets 5- Phone 6- Ads 7- List 8- GD Shirt 9- Bottled Water
  10. TRU I'll give you since their electronics dept is just based on video games and MP3 players, but Wal Mart and Target have a pretty good selection of electronics in store and you could get even more of a selection there on-line, and with Wal Mart's price match guarantee, BB better not let their guard down this season thinking they're the only ones in the electronic selling game.
  11. I was doing GC's over the summer, and now switching to the script to help out my kid's school. I try to save the change/poker fund for my DW's gift.
  12. Some tried that at TRU last year, but they were stopped by the manager, NTM the angry mob of people they were attempting to cut into.
  13. I would seriously advise against it. The batter tastes nasty and the accessories break off the unit. Like I said.....it maybe lasted 2 hours in my house. If your neice wants to cook. Go the Easy Bake over route. At least you know they've been around forever.
  14. I had a problem with their rude customer service and their stock issues on BF. Haven't shopped there on Thanksgiving.
  15. I think it all depends on what they sell. The old KB outlet stores sold the overstock at reduced prices and didn't comply with any holiday sales when they were around since they were already maked down, but they didn't really sell anything that was considered a "Hot" item of the year either. If TRU is planning to stock up on the hot toys, I think they should comply with the sales, but that's just me.
  16. Eventhough CC and Cmp USA is gone, BB still has competetion with Wal Mart, TRU and Target. They'll stay the same with the BF sales, as they have in past years. They won't let up.
  17. I'll be all over the S. Jersey map. Deptford, Turrnersville, Cherry Hill, Washington Township, Sewell.
  18. I'm not as antzy as I've been in the past for the ads. Guess I'm just not in the mood to holiday shop.........................yet.
  19. The Cupcake Factory! That was a bust and a half 2 hours after opening the box!
  20. I won a shirt last year and wore it while christmas shopping. What was funny was that people commented on the shirt saying I wasn't the only one in Deptford or Turrnersville, NJ who was wearing one. They've been seen around.
  21. Christiana Mall is usually a nightmare on BF. They usually have traffic issues Thanksgiving Night.
  22. M'eh........I think the Wii will be easy....Wii Fit and Wii Active will be harder to get.
  23. Add BJ's to the list.
  24. A Notebook for my DW. Toys for the kids. Sanity for me!
  25. Lad- Harbor Freight puts an ad out way early too!! Nice to be back into the mix.
