  1. Mods..please close. TY
  2. Thanks for the replies ladies and gents. I'll tally it up when I can.......right now, we just got a call about a death in my DW's family. I will finish this, probably tomorrow sometime. But right now, I need to be there for my wife. Thaks for the replies.
  3. Holy Crap! That is Huge news DG!! It stated that Gibson, who makes Guitars, has held a patent on a guitar-playing video game and is now suing the creators of both RB and GH, along with six major selling distributors across the US. What a dumbass move! I understand about suing the creators if they had an agreement at one time with one of them to creat the game, but to go out and pull this kind of move just makes me wonder why'd they cut off potential income. If their lawsuit holds up in court, they get back $$$ dating back from the original GH, correct? Why would they sue the top six-stores that rake in the cash for them to begin with?
  4. C'Mon People! I thought I'd get at least 20 responses by now! I'm saving mine in case a tiebreaker is needed.
  5. I have a nephew who's insanely lucky when it comes to Lottery Scratch-offs. I think he's won more doing the scratchies, than I have at the casino's. BTW- This year, we're putting Santa Pez dispensers and extra candies along with Toothtunes Brushes inside the stockings.
  6. The RB1 Equipment will work on RB2 and vice-versa. The difference is the equipment is a little sturdier in the second version. Personally, I'd get the equipment for the first, with an additional guitar and buy the second game. Just make sure you also look into a memory card for the Wii, since the Wii game memory is small.
  7. Hey one and all! Scanner here with a little 'Pick Em' game fer ya! I have 16 Christmas Movies listed here. (thanks Wiki) The pairings were done randomly. All you have to do is pick your faves of the bunch with a reason if you like! I'll stop each round after fifteen-to-twenty responses (I'll stop at an odd number to avoid a tie) and the highest total makes it to the next round! I figured we could get the best of the best by Christmas Day. Let's get this started! Round 1 Christmas Vacation vs Miracle on 34th Street. (pick your favorite version) Home Alone vs A Christmas Carol (pick your favorite version w/ the exception of Scrooged) A Christmas Story vs Elf Nightmare Before Christmas vs The Grinch Bad Santa vs The Santa Clause The Polar Express vs Scrooged Deck the Halls vs It's a Wonderful Life Jingle All the Way vs White Christmas BTW- If your fave isn't listed...sorry! I tried avoiding sequels and dupes. (w/ the exception of Scrooged cause it's an awesome version by itself.) If ya'd like to add one you'd like to see on the list for next year put it with the responses and I'll try to stretch it to 32 if I can get enough movies listed. kthnxby
  8. I cleared the spot...now I just have to get the tree up and running!
  9. Man! BF was hectic! Went to TRU and got the DS Bundle, Color Wonder Magic Brush Set, a RypStick, the Skate Ramp, 2- 1G MP3 players, The RC Heli Attack Pack and a Jungle Fury Megazord. Then went to Target and picked up another RypStick for about $30.00 cheaper, a pair of earrings for my DD and Christmas vacation and Polar Express DVD. DW went to AC Moore for her craft stuff. I went to Kmart and got 2- 2G MP3 players for about 2.00 more than what I paid for the 1g and some stuff for Disney trip. Went back to TRU and returned the Rypstick and MP3 players and got my $$ back and then some. Went to breakfast. Went to Kohl's, DW shopped for herself for the trip. I picked up the Luggage Bundle DB, a few DS games for DS & a Pair of Diamond Earrings for DW.
  10. Any type of developmental toy would be a plus. A crawling mirror or a crib mirror rated pretty high on my list for my kids, that way they have interraction, eventhough they're looking at themselves for a period when I had to put them down. Someone from Babie's R Us could also steer you in the right direction as well.
  11. Nah! Believe me...I have plenty of Disney left in me to last a year.....if not I'm sure they'll be a souverier or two to trip over in the meantime to jog out a few memories.
  12. DD had to write a letter to Santa yesterday for Homework.....I kid you not, word for word.
  13. NP. There are no Meijers in Jersey or Philly. Which stinks!! Because I could really use a Wii Fit. Like ya said..maybe on-line.
  14. Funny.....I thought all of the BF ads came out on Turkey Day?? Color me puzzled!
  15. I haven't seen Wii Fit or either GH World Tour or Rock Band 2 bundles on sale, other than Target's version with just the Guitar and GHWT Game.
  16. 3 in line at BB in Deptford NJ. 1 in line at CC in Deptford as well.
  17. Haven't seen any deals on the entire bundle just yet. Just the BF ad from Target with the Guitar and game only. There's also the GH bundle at WalMart with GH1, 2 & Aerosmith for $50.00.
  18. You might be better off with something like Hanna Montana or Pets. I don't know about Wii City Folk...sorry.

I'm only 5'11") But I got her back and embarrassed the crap outta her in front of her friends. I bought a pair of 4xl fat pants and thanked my mother for such a great gift. I then held my arms out to hug her and let my 4XL pants drop down, showing flesh covered boxers with mistletoe on the crotch and said, "Oohh lookie. I must have lost some weight. Musta been that abflex. Thanks again mom!" I kissed her on the cheek and proceeded to walk upstairs, with the pants still around my ankles. She didn't talk to me for 2 weeks. 11. 20. Went to BB last night to get a lens cover for my camera and there were five people waiting in line for BF alreqdy.
  21. It would be funny if the stashing idea actually worked. (post if it does plz.) It'd be even funnier if someone actually took your stash and replaced it with copies of Mr. Bean on Holiday and Ernest Saves Christmas.
  22. I was just going to post this same question today.....irony? I have two Kohls about 15min from my house and neither has a large toy section. Maybe three aisles, with some boxes on the floor. max. And I really don't shop @ Kohl's on BF because my main goal is to get the Santa Shopping done. But I do see some stuff advertised fo toys, that maybe too good to pass on, but like the OP states, there's hardly anything there in general. Do they move stuff around and put out the toys. Or is it basically, we have the three aisles, mostly baby toys, what you see is what you get? M'eh....I'll just call them.
  23. I know. I can't believe how fast the calendar fill up around the holidays. I mean, this coming weekend, we leave for Disney for a week. Come back the following Tuesday. DW works the 13th and 14th. Following weekend, Holiday party and a kid party. (20th) and after that is Christmas weekend, with another holiday party on Sat and Sunday. It's jus insane that we get anxious and can't wait for it to get here, but then it comes and goes so quick, it make your head spin.
  24. Amen to that!! Just take off the "Used" stickers. LOL.
