From what I've seen, it's basically a crapshoot. You either get a set or equipment that can take an amazing pounding or something that needs a replacement because you took it out of the box wrong. I got RB 1 as a gift last year and added strut pieces for extra support on the outer two drums and haven't had a problem with me and my kids pounding the crap outta them. You could also look into the Ion Drum Kit for RB2 and the replacement heads for RB1 called metalwoods. Both are a little pricy, but you'll get what you pay for. Both can take an amazing pounding. I'll PM you the site if you'd like.

We were at the Deptford Mall last Sat and KB was an absolute madhouse! They had a sign 50-75% off storewide, but the place was just a mobscene. It's the first time my kids didn't want to go into a toy store.

looking for a cheap nice desk

My DW is assembling her own through Ikea. It's a bit on the higher side, but I told her to get when she feels she needs for her craft room, but I'm sure you could assemble one you need for your budget. -
Not a Marshall's fan, but DW is. I'll pass along the info......along with the house payment.

Looking for a new coffee maker - Cuisinart or Krups
Scanner420 replied to Cheryl888's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Dunno about either brand. Just stay away from Black n Decker. We had problems with the coffee pot and the one cup maker, burning out. (had six replaced before I got the $$$$$ back) I'm guessing Macy's or Bed Bath and Beyond would have those on sale at some point. -
Sears Sevice Nightmare- suggestions?
Scanner420 replied to rogueleader's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
We had a similiar issue with our washer/dryer a few years back. We got the W/D back in 2000 with the extended warranty and had a problem with rust spots on the clothes two years later. My DW contacted Sears repair, and they started by telling us that our warranty wasn't good since we crossed a state line where the item was purchased and we called shennegains on it and talked with a manager, who said it'd be repaired within a week. They never called and we followed up and they swore that we had a service call placed, but it was two weeks before we were even contacted by the service team for an appt. by the service team. They came out and inspected the product and first he tried to tell me it'd be at least a week for a new tub and a new belt and before I could answer, he said, "If he could even get the part at all since the W/D were older models and no longer in stock items." I was shocked and told the guy that we had a warranty and to fix the problem and that I didn' want to hear any BS aout it! He went to his truck and replaced the belt, but the tub had to be ordered and would take a week. Two weeks went by and we called Sears and explained what had hapened and they informed me that the tub they ordered was no longer in their stock and a replacement had to be ordered and should be in by that Friday and expect a call by Sat. We called them Monday and complained and they said the part was on back order and hung up. We then called regional on them and complained and they said "they'd look into it." We got a call the following Friday saying the part was in and when would be a good time for them to come out. I told them ASAP. They came the following Monday saying they were backlogged, and I told them it was inexcusable since this had been going on for five weeks now. The repair was done and they guy said to me that he didn't think the repair would hold up since were basically putting the same type of tub. I talked to a manager as he was driving away and told him with the repair guy had told me and he assured me that the part was diferent and covered under the warranty. I told him that I was sick of the whole experience and was contacting corporate about the whole experience and he basically wished me luck. My DW did the complaint starting from the beginning and going up to and including waiting 15 minutes for a live person to talk with on the other end. They're response was another reassurance that this wasn't going to happen again, as well as, a check for $90.00 for sending out our laundry and a $200.00 GC for our trouble. Two weeks later, we got a bill for the repair and the parts. We contacted them saying the repairs were done as part of the warranty and they tried saying that the part was a warrantied part, since the replaced part wasn't on the original washer. We told them what had happened with the washer being DC'd and they basically said, well, too bad. Pay us! I then basically to them shove it and we weren't paying a bogus bill. I haven't heard from them since. -
Um.....ever hear of the SHAM-WOW!! Emphasis on the "SHAM" part.

Wii Active Life Outdoor Challenge

We actually just got this for my DS for his B-Day last Monday. He pulled it out of the box and loves it. The kids love jumping around him when he's playing it as well. And I love the fact that they're tiring themselves out by 7pm!! -
UPDATE!!!! Found Optimus Prime's missing leg under the TV Stans yesterday! I know many of you inquired about it. Thanks for asking. (j/k) But sadly...we have another casuality to report. My DS's RC Air Hogs Battle. One copter hass a broken propeller and the other has a body that has literally split in half. Don't know the reason for it, just know now that the one has officially become a parts and accessories replacement for the other.

See my above post plz. And yes. my DW took it back and got our $$$ back for it. DD now has a science kit and somemore Barbie accessories.
-
I was just about to post a thread on this. Man! What a waste! It was on DD's list and of course, my DW wouldn't just let her have just the CCM, she bought the $70.00 bundle with every accessory, mix, cake plate, rake, frosting tip, you could imagine. And boy.........did it ever disappoint! I was told by my DW that my DD's were excited to get the mixes going, only to have them taste the cake and immediately toss them in the garbage! They complained about the texture and taste saying it was "Gross!" and "Yucky!" This is getting re-boxed and shipped back to TRU!

I posted this in another thread. -
Three casualities to report...Two from my DS-7. One from DD-6. 1- A Dollar Store action figure broke his leg right out of the package. DS was upset because it was a present from his lil sis. 2- Transformers Animated Optimus Prime. DS "lost" his leg transforming him. He started transforming him and put him down, then came back to find it missing. Hope DW didn't sweep it up when she collected the 3 inches of wrapping paper from the floor. Those bags are long gone. 3- DD's Glitter Dream Dollhouse. Came home from work to find the piece that holds the elevator string tight inside the elevator is now missing. I already found a replacement and now the replacement is missing. GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

It's a shame my kids don't play any of those games. Oh well. Thanks for posting.

If the items were marked "clearance", They're usually not returnable, even if they're broken.
