Agree with all the above except the core2duo, this is so much better ( I can drop a Phenom or a Bulldozer Quad core in it in 2008, 2009 and even begin of 2010), and I cant find anything better in these ads. What Teir 1 maker uses Raptors anyway? Besides, no one is yet putting 8800GT's in anyway, and that is what I want in SLI, so it is best to get it without a card in it yet anyway. -
My my, a lot of work for stationchief to do here people

Best deal on RAM (Considering all BF Laptops need the memory upgrade)
nirvana4all replied to a topic in 2007
Now if you have a fry's near you, they are having a deal that I bet you cant beat! 2GB of Low latency desktop ddr2-6400 ram for $20. Now that is a deal. I run this in one of my Desktops, and got the rebate back from 1 month ago. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220144 If your computer runs DDR2 ram, this stuff will almost definitely work in it, and awesome to boot. $40 after MIR....I know MIR, but hey, how can you beat it??? -

Yup...same software and router, no printer. You know you love me. p 32 of 36 on scans...above that awesome drool creating machine that most people wont use half of. -
skip it, you can get some great memory at 2GB from Newegg.com for laptops or desktops. I just picked up 2GB of Dual channel DDR2-6400 800Mhz Patriot Low latency Desktop Ram for $45. They (along w/ clubit.com and geeks.com) are always having good ram on good sales that is rarely surpassed in the B&M stores anymore.

not sure, dont have the OD scans, I am just going off this fellow saying OD has a lenovo if I read his post right.

Helo finding a good deal on a Refrigerator

BestBuy has a 22" for $549... also check out Sears, they normally have appliances as well. -
Yeah, Intel has a lot of marketing money, and AMD not very much, so like Nike vs New Balance, many people assume Nike is better, but also being into healthcare I can tell you that Nike just advertises more, many New Balance shoes costing a lot less are just as good if not better for your foot. Same goes w/ AMD and Intel. They both make some good and some not so hot products, Intel just advertises all of theirs more.

You spoke too soon, I dont see his OD Lenovo on there, actually dont see any OD computers on there.

Wow, the "on" under forums just dropped from almost 3600 to now only about 1400...guess your links did take a lot of guests off the forums.

I dont have the prices in front of me, but with them being of equal price, you have a nicer processor and the biggest hard drive you can get in the gateway, as well as being able to install Vista 64 bit (really only a geek factor) on the gateway as well. I would get it if the price was the same, seems it is worth about ...umm $70-$90 more IMHO.

yup, I would have done it as an asterisk and then at the bottom defined it, since the other stores aren't doing it. -
solid machine, and a decent deal when you throw in the other freebies you get that day when you buy a laptop at CC.
-
I consider a free 500W powersupply a deal. Not the worlds best PSU, but free??? you could give that to your parents.

No prob, as you can see, computers and such are second hand to me. -
The processor in the sony is actually slower and worse than the AMD processor in the HP.

Come on guys, that is not cheap. Check out your online suppliers (i.e. newegg, clubit, and geeks). Here is an example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820134555
