Any chance of adding the 2006 season?

This is actually solid advice. Check your daily limits and don't get burned by limitations on BF, especially at Best Buy! I believe you will see more activation deals like the one Samsung had earlier this year. If you are near your contract renewal date, this could be the year to save big.

We experienced a lot of people this year who, after seeing the news report, went to Best Buy and complained to management about us! They made some pretty ignorant comments and stereotypical ones at that! Our number one question this year was, "How much are the tents?" Thes are obviously not the 'Haters" but inquisitive people looking for, you guessed it, tents. During one of the last interviews, the subject came up, and I told the reportee that the media was to blame for all of the hating. She asked why. I replied that when you put a headline "Black Friday Madness" and have a reporter say to the audience, that "You don't want to know what I think, because they are right behind me." it is easy to draw a conclusion from the report that we Campers are to be viewed as crazies, or whackos. Crazy allright, crazy like a fox! Next year, you will see our tents with a big sign saying, "NO MEDIA, BLACK FRIDAY MADNESS DISEASE INSIDE...STAY AWAY.....HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS".

I wore the blue one during the week, and the black one going through the door at Best Buy!

The 50 titles were only 20 at my store. The additional selection consisted of really bad B movies and ones you probably already have on DVD. Absolutely the worst selection at Best Buy. I ended up purchasing two $7.99 Blurays online. The Wii Us were a mad grab when the door opened, and the secret sales were nonexistant. The 39 inch Insignia was higher in the store than the online price, so they went largely unsold. The 26 inch LED was gone in minutes. Our group snagged 5.

Based on what lie we were told, I can believe that. They also said we were going to get secret items, and that fell flat as well. The manager made up for the inept trainees and inaccurate information by letting us buy multiple TVs and Wii u consoles for being first in line. The instore selection was an unmitigated disaster! They had only 20 different titles, including the 12 advertised. The bin was a mess! I went to the Walmart in Macclenny and got all I wanted of their well organized $3.99 Blurays, as well as 2 of the the Brave combo. The lowest valued Blurays were B movie titles like Shark VS Octopus.....Really?????

So did you get one? At least from the size of the box, transporting is an option. I needed a pickup truck to haul the 50 inch Toshiba! I also got the 40 inch Toshiba, and two 26 Insignias.....which went like hotcakes!

We had a situation where people set up tents and then left. When they came back, they lost their place in line because there must be one person from the group to manage the assets. The line voted to move up, and they were out. A second reason why this happened was for the very reason this thread exists. The question arose that even if they did honor an empty tent as a place holder, the person or persons could come back with more relatives and bump them back. In at least one case, the person came back with another and there was a heated exchange which calmed down and everyone still got what they wanted.

I and my line partner were able to purchase the Deluxe Wii U today(2 units). Right after we got it, they received word to halt sales. It may turn up as a Doorbuster with or without a ticket. They were still trying to work the details out. Our store received 50 of them. Really sweet units! They will resume sales on BF, so that is good news! We were also promised another crack at them! There were confirmed reports of secret items being sent to our location. He doubted a highly discounted TV to be among them, but there were about 5. The 50 Blurays still remain a mystery to the staff as they are coming in the kiosks preselected for the $3.99 sale.

Congrats Taz, great pictures, but I have to say that your Best Buy has got to be one ugly duckling! Glad you performed a cosmetic adjustment with the sticker!

We encountered problems like BigJim, but we have two booms going up, and the news crews from FOX and CBS are hounding us constantly. We had video up, but the connections kept dropping.
