  1. Eeek! You are right. It looks like it has been taken down. Anyone save it to a PDF file? I don't know why I didn't! I just googled it. It looks like some jerk(s) have been selling them on ebay. that probably has a lot to do with it. Ugh! I hate stuff like that!
  2. Webkinz were clearanced after Christmas. A few continued to show up last month, but they seem pretty well gone except for the occasional store return.
  3. It is funny that they are showing up. They were actually clearanced as part of the back to school stuff in September! Target just did inventory a week or two ago, so I think THAT is why we are seeing more As Is tags and stuff like this. I think they must have found a bunch of stuff in the stock rooms that they didn't know was there. Having spent a few days cleaning the garage recently, I can relate!
  4. They aren't going to go lower than that. That is already 75% off. They are toys, but have been sighted on endcaps in toys, sporting goods, electronics & other random places around the store.
  5. I don't know about others, but I divide them into $25 chunks and just pay separately. I don't go to different cashiers.
  6. They don't discount weekly. It is bi-weekly.
  7. If you find one, it'll probably be just luck or an internet return as baby clearance was done last month. The next big one, when they might do those larger items, isn't till the end of summer.
  8. Not only that, you can use them for the after Easter sale, too if you are buying that kind of stuff! I plan to. It is how I generally get all the goodies for goody bags for parties at school, etc. With my 10% shopping day and the $5 coupon, it will make stuff about 65% off. I am happy with that instead of waiting and chancing there being anything at 75%.
  9. I believe you can take your receipt in with the coupons and try to get it back at Guest Services.
  10. Quite a few were for the PC. I didn't pay close attention, though, as they won't work on our computers.
  11. they have to red tag them, but didn't you say they marked them last week? If so, they don't go down again till next week. Hopefully I remember incorrectly. Not sure about other people's stores, but ours usually is getting to food items around 9:30 or 10 am. Of course, it always depends on how much else they have to mark, too. If they have little, they'll mark it earlier. If they have a lot of other stuff, later.
  12. Oh yeah! They don't seem to sell out quickly, and every store I have been in has had several. I think people just aren't in summer mode yet.
  13. Thanks for that! I almost never go to Kmart because of their lousy location, but it would be nice to find a few of those!
  14. Twice a year. But the next one isn't till the end of July/first of August. With the 75% usually coming the first week or two of August. Which is why I scheduled our vacation for June just after school lets out rather than August just before it starts. Isn't that pathetic?!?!
  15. We didn't get the tent set, just the blow up bed from the same line, but they were plenty big. I would think it would be fine. They are sort of aiming for that age with them. And, you could always return it if it is too small.
  16. Yes they do. In fact, if you know something about computers you can get them to work with other formats too. But I have the luxury of having a programmer (works for JPL on satellites) DH who knows how to do stuff. Our son has a Mixmax and we don't use Windows, so he uses more generic video formats, rather than Windows. We can download shows we record off TV onto it as well. But, DH also built a Tivo-like system that we use to record all our TV programs (so no commercials unless we want to see them). But if you can load a video onto an SD card with your computer, it should be able to read it.
  17. If I were you, I'd buy it at 50% and return it if necessary. Our stores also pulled them. I had hidden one and was able to get it 75% when it went NOF. But our markdown team says that they are generally salvaging electronics after 50%. I know some stores are not, and it might just be the larger markets, but I wouldn't count on it. At least if you buy it at 50% you have it and can always return it in a month or so after it goes NOF. They might stick it on the shelf for less. It is a risk either way. Or you could have it and hold out to see if it goes lower and are still available. Hard call.
  18. Found a few CW Nemo sets. Came up NOF, so got them for $1.74. Found a Mr. Clean Car Wash set with brushes, etc. for $3.74. It wasn't marked, but I'd seen them in other stores on the clearance endcaps, so I scanned it and it was 75% off. They marked a number of video games 50% off today, but not the ones for the DS. They also marked those Fusion MP3 & Video players 50% off and the Tinkerbell MP3 players as well.
  19. I think she means the regular napkins & paper towels, like Bounty, though I could be wrong. For Halloween & Christmas they had the 200 packs of Bounty napkins in holiday designs that got marked down. Have you seen any? I haven't, and they usually do big end caps. I was thinking about it the other day and figured Easter isn't quite as "big" a holiday from the manufacturer's perspective. But that is just a guess. If you have seen the Bounty packs, please let me know so I can troll around that area some more to look!
  20. I haven't seen any. I know how you feel. I am about to finish off my Christmas ones.
  21. I grew up in the snow and remember all those blizzards in the midwest in the 70s. I lived in Harbin, China for a year (teaching English) as well. Harbin is practically on the Russian border up on the side near Japan. It was 40 below 0 on Christmas Day that year. So, I have done my snow and cold. That said, I just had to brag that it was sunny and 75 here yesterday. I do not miss the snow!!! Just glad my mom got out in time. She still lives in the midwest, but was taking a trip to Germany to visit friends for 2 weeks. She has never traveled abroad, and it was such a thrill to be able to go. Glad that snow didn't keep her grounded. Hope everyone in those blizzard states is okay and warm!
  22. For anyone in SoCal looking for the Photokinz, they have a TON of them at the San Dimas & La Verne stores. There were still several at the Pasadena Lake store this morning, too. All in Toys or in Sporting Goods an aisle or two over from Toys on end caps.
  23. They didn't do anything at all for the 2 which opened in our area over the last 2 years. I was SO disappointed!
  24. Yes, though I had at least one small toy in the mix. It doesn't seem to differentiate. I have also had a few dollar spot items added in to bring up the total to $25 and had it work. I just hope people don't start abusing it so that it stops working.
  25. Most stores have the policy (and it is the general company policy) to allow cashiers to make the call if it looks like it is $25 or less in value. Sounds like your store is a stickler for some reason. You might want to try complaining to their customer service through the website about how ridiculous it is that it takes so long because the cashiers have to do this. And isn't there a faster/better way to handle these situations? It might get someone higher up to push the manager to loosen up. Just a thought...
