  1. because they have multiple UPC codes on them. Not sure why, but it is the case. It seems to happen most often with electronics, but the cashier must have hit the right UPC and when you scanned it you hit the wrong one.
  2. yeah, prices are ridiculous for drinks. Fortunately, our kids are young enough that they usually get their drink included with the kid's meal at sit down restaurants (milk) and DH drinks water. That means mommy gets to drink her tea. I hate paying that much, but I am a big tea drinker, and since it has no calories, that keeps me from feeling too guilty. But fast food places are pretty outrageous too. I have never understood people who buy more than a small, though. Why bother when they refill them? Even the places that don't advertise it or have them out and readily available almost all do free refills.
  3. Saw SEVERAL sets of these sheets at the Pasadena Lake store this morning. Twin & Full. 75% off. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51C2VWMSNDL._SS260_.jpg
  4. Yeah, we use AE for all our family expenses. We have a points account, not the rebate one. But it pays for all our hotel stays for vacations since we can transfer the points to various hotels. I am able to use the Target Visa for business, so when I want a big item from Target, I just use the 10% off and the Target card. it sure is nice.
  5. Ah, I have gotten those before, but it was before I got the card. I got them because I had placed online orders. Haven't seen them in a long time, though.
  6. By the way, other major toy shoppers....I went to Ross yesterday, which I rarely do, and discovered a TON of Target's toy clearance there. And, unlike some stores, they kept the prices relatively low on most things. Like about 50% off retail. Thought I'd mention it.
  7. No, no. I get the 10% cards regularly. I don't get the other coupons that she mentioned. Like $5 off an XX purchase, etc.
  8. 1000 points gets you a 10% shopping day. They send you a little card that they scan at checkout, and you get 10% off everything. I like to use these for the big toy clearance and sometimes for the holiday clearance days if I am not going to need it another time. I get them like clockwork, so I plan around them.
  9. Wow! I have only had the card for about 6 months, but I have NEVER gotten any coupons! I use it for my business, so I spend like $3000 per month on it. I have 9000 unused points toward the 10% shopping days (they only let you use one per month, unfortunately). Seems like I ought to be getting some of those coupons.
  10. They were still half price at our store. However, they were out of all the twin size already. Same at another store. I was able to get a few when they first went half price last week.
  11. One model of the Disney Mixstick (Tinkerbell) and Mixmax (white) are on clearance. As well as that other brand with Spongebob. There was a lot of interest in these last year, so I wanted to make sure it got posted. I need to watch to get another one for a friend.
  12. Where did you find I-Dog the coupon? I have searched the whole site, and I can't run it down.
  13. Still one more of the Cars toy organizers left at the Pasadena Lake store if anyone is looking. it is in sporting goods on the toys side. end cap. not sure what it is marked, but it rings $9.98.
  14. I saw (and scanned) 2 of those Disney Cars toy bin sets at the Pasadene Lake store. They were $9.98 and on the end cap in sporting goods on the toy side (by camping stuff & the pools) for anyone looking. I didn't want them, but had to check when I saw them.
  15. I have met them everywhere from on ebay to on collector's boards. So far it has always worked out. Kind of fun, too.
  16. There are actually 2. There is small combo which is still $1 here. And there is the medium combo which is $1.99.
  17. Oh, and Global Bazaar is 75% off in Pasadena. I guess I overheard the markdown manager correctly on Tuesday. :)
  18. I was able to use the toy coupon this morning on Easter toys, so it is worth a try on the markers and stuff. Someone stocked the Thomas Easter trains in the wrong spot, so I got them for $5.99 each and used the coupon. I bought six because I trade trains with people in the UK & Australia who also are into Thomas. That way we are able to get the exclusive trains from each other's countries.
  19. Yes as it was pretty much stolen from the first post of this list.
  20. WOW! Thanks! I will pass this little tidbit along to relatives!
  21. Yep, right in with the regular puzzles. Usually at waist height and at the part where puzzles & games connect.
  22. Oh, naughty, naughty. Brad will undoubtedly delete this as it is a competitor site. But they were looking for a new site to do DPCI lookup, anyway. Does anyone have any idea how the old one worked? Wondering if somehow Target put the kibosh on it. I never figured out how it was they were able to create the site in the first place unless someone had hacked into the Target system somehow. It isn't like it is publicly available in general.
  23. Wow! Unless you are in an extremely high rent area that is probably a pricing error the other way.
  24. I have to agree. You might have been better off asking for a manager to try to force a price lookup. They are very unlikely to do anything for you now. And if you just return it and hope for another try, now that they know, they'll just as likely salvage it.
  25. might have just found them in the back. They clearanced them last summer. I bought one back then. the $56.xx price was the 75% off price.
