Oh! Is it that one with all the rhinestones stickers or something to put on it? I think I may know which one. Definitely good for a girl. I have only boys, so I avoid stuff like that in general. The main thing is to get a halfway decent one instead of some of the real junkie ones out there. You want it to actually work. A friend's daughter was given one from Limited Too, and it never did work. Just complete waste of money and effort.

According to the employees in the electronics departments at a couple of stores I visit, they get more returns of Trutech stuff than anything else. They basically said it is junk and for me not to bother buying it. Just passing it along. Not to say that some people haven't had good experiences with TT stuff, just what the employees told me.

Hmmm....could be. There have been several of them on clearance. The price she mentioned was the same as the Npower one for most people. One of my stores went 75% already, but most others were still 50%. Oops! You are right! The price is too high. There have been a LOT of the off-brand MP3 players on clearance though. I am not sure how big this one is.

Interesting....ours never has here, and I double checked it Sunday and today. by the way, could you please add your location to your profile? It helps everyone to know where deals are being found. For anyone else who hasn't done this, you do it by going into the Control Panel Up on the blue bar above. It really helps prevent everyone asking where you are located when you report a deal. If you don't want to give too much detail, just add the state.

yeah, that would be Brad, and though we have suggested that he make changes to the original post several times, he doesn't seem to notice, so we still have the old stuff. It needs that link fixed as well as to be updated about the MM juices so we don't have to repeat that every time someone new joins the forum.

She's talking abou the Npower Fission players we were discussing last month. The pinkish purple ones have the Naked Brothers band on them, and the grey ones have Spongebob. They are 1G.

ooh...lucky you. Most of the stores seem to have just marked them this past week when they were in the online flyer.

they just marked them this past week, so you are looking at close to a month before they hit 75%. They will mostly be gone before that if past years are any indication. I bought them a year or two ago.

I found several of the small Lego sets that were from Easter in the regular Lego & Playmobil section. I probably should have mentioned it sooner. But if you look in the small Playmobil sets you might find a few. They don't usually sell the Legos in that size, so some of the stockers are putting them with the Playmobil stuff because they look like they belong there. But there are also customers who are trying to hide them in plain sight by mixing them in with the regular lego sets. Also, check behind the plexiglass displays. Found lots of stuff there!

Having had that happen, I try to remember to make a note in a notebook when I go to the car so I don't forget. I found a Disney Mix Max at the end of last summer that I had stashed at one store in the Spring! I didn't get back to that store as I had thought I would, and forgot about it. It sat there for nearly 6 months!!!!

LOL! Drawers never works at Target. Not sure why, but they always seem to check those. However, it is the only place that ever worked for me at Walmart. I don't frequent Walmart, but because our store is SO painfully slow about markdowns, I stashed some Vsmile games in the baby department changing table drawers. They stayed there for 2 months!!!! I was finally able to get the games when they did the markdown. I hope none of those who PMed me were Target employees who were just trying to get our tips. But if so, oh well....it has always been more of a game to see if I could keep the item in the store long enough for it to get marked down to a price where I would buy it. So I'll survive if I've given away all my secrets.

I'll PM you. You aren't in my neck of the woods. But the thing about stashing is that the places change a bit over time. The place that works now won't work once it has been found by employees. However, it may work again in a year. So, you have to move things around sometimes. It also depends on size. Some things are simply too big to stash. But small things, I have found several good spots that I rotate. And, I will often stash in more than one store just in case they are found in one but not another. Some stores are quick to check and find everything, others will be there for months and months (I forgot to check back and found stuff long since salvaged when I went to hide something new.)!

Are you sure? I can't find any reference to that in the July, August or September threads from last year, and I know ours didn't. I've never seen it go 90% here.

True. If you are calling, be sure to ask them to actually check rather than look at the signs. You can often get them to do it by telling them it when lower at another store. I called several stores the other day and they automatically told me what the signs said. But when I told them that another store had gone down (which was true), the always actually checked with the department person.

Easter was 90% at the Lake store in Pasadena, but still 75% at the Madre store. Oddly, this is the opposite order of when they dropped earlier. The Madre store was 75% first, and the Lake second. Go figure....

Yes, it happens from corporate, not by anyone in the store doing it. It will probably go today or tomorrow.

forgot to mention....in addition to easter deals, I got 6 Rubbermaid containers for $1.74 each. The tan color ones that were on clearance. They didn't have lids to match, so I got blue ones that worked, and they didn't give me any grief about it.

Yes, your question came out right. But the answer is we don't really know. you'll just have to try. Don't say anything to the cashier, just take it to return. They'll either tell you you can only get the 75% price back, or they'll give you the full refund. The company policy is to only give back the reduced price, as noted on the receipt. However, many folks on this list have had a totally different experience, and have been able to get back the 50% off price even after it has gone 75%. So you'll just have to try and see.

for those in my area, the Pasadena Madre store just keeps putting out more Easter stuff. I swear I don't know where they are getting it, but when I went back this morning they had put out more of the potato head sets, more of the small etch a sketch, those flat balls that pop, pull back thomas easter trains.....every morning I check and there is something else there. Yesterday I got a bunch of the LPS tubes that had just been put out. The day before they had an entire pallet of toys. I have also found a few other stores where there is just a random basket full of boxed toys that are just arriving on the sales floor. Crazy.

they don't go to 90% on St. Patty's it will get packed off for salvage.
