Yeah, ours may clear earlier because our rainy season is pretty well over. However, they went straight to 50%, so keep an eye on them.

Yes, those are the ones. I haven't seen any others. They usually clearance the coats out around now every year, then only carry the umbrellas until fall.

Kid's rain coats were 50% off today.

Well, we had heard that they were going to mess around with the schedule & timing of the markdowns, so it may really be true.

The generator isn't provided by Target. Target only makes the coupons available on their website for a couple of weeks, then they take them down. They don't want us printing out multiples of them to use, they want us to print one and use it quickly. That is why their system only allows us to print one at a time.

I know I am not the only one on here who does tax exempt transactions for school, business, nonprofit, etc....For those of you who also do these things at Target, the new cash register update has caused an "interesting" glitch in the system. If you use coupons, you need to do it AFTER the tax exempt stuff gets entered. Otherwise it won't let them do the tax exempt part. Weird. I had it happen a couple of times, and we finally figured this out. So, if you are using coupons, particularly the toy coupon, be sure to give them the tax exempt stuff first, then the coupons.

they seem to use a variety of methods to get addresses. They say they send them to different groups at different times including people who have contacted customer service (phone or email), red card holders, people who've ordered online, and even rented lists.

It isn't really "reusable." You only get one use of the coupon per item on it. Which I think stinks myself....but that's me.

I have only seen them at a couple of stores, but in both cases they were near the stuff like storage tubs, hair dryers & shavers, etc. If anyone is interested, they have them at the Duarte store here in SG Valley. I think they were still 30% off, though.

Found LOADS of 3/4" matte finish Scotch tape for $.64 - 75% off today. It was in stationery on an end cap.

If you regularly have trouble at a particular store, you should start taking names and calling or emailing corporate. It is the only way to get them to change.

They were just starting to stock the Nemo stuff at 2 of the 3 stores I visited today.

Yeah, got one too. Of course, I had it stashed as there was only one.... They marked down several of the larger items in the Action Figures Aisle too. Stuff like the DC Super Friends (for the preschool set) vehicles, Batman Costume and such. Mostly bottom shelf items. Saw a lot more random As Is tags today, too. Not sure why. Saw a large stack of those vinyl garden chairs in tan (usually white) with those tags at the Madre store. Didn't look close as we don't need them. But keep an eye out for those striped tags everyone!

Did I tip you on here or in the store? I have told a few people, so that could be why you haven't found them. However, the Pasadena store went a couple of months without them, and they showed up again recently. Oh, and if anyone is looking at the Sea Monsters or Arctic Tale Wii games, they got HORRIBLE reviews. I checked them out because my 5yo wanted to buy one with a gift card. The reviews were SO bad that I won't let him buy them even with a gift card on clearance.

Oh, the Galleria store is AWFUL for clearance! Too many people shop there, so it never gets very low. Actually the NoHo store is probably the best of that group. Burbank is hit or miss. Eagle Rock can be good too. Good luck!

If you are just getting started, this is the slow season, and there hasn't been as much lately. It will pick up. There is often clearance stuff mixed in with the regular merchandise. And if you follow this thread, you'll find out when something is clearance but may not be marked as such. That is always the best. What part of LA are you in? I am in the SG Valley and shop the stores in Pasadena most, but hit every store from Burbank (and sometimes NoHo) over to San Dimas & Chino Hills when I am in that area. We have a couple of OC folks on here too.

Ahhh....it all becomes clear now.... bummer! I want the upright one! I guess I'll wait. I thought iit was awfully soon as those upright ones are pretty new.
