  1. For those who were watching the Rose Petal Cottages, you might want to monitor the Amazon Toy Clearance discussion. It has been down a few times over the last week. Good chance you might get a deal if you are able to stay on top of it. Alternatively, put it in your Amazon cart and monitor that. Seems like there was something else similar that I thought about earlier today, but can't remember what it was.
  2. if you get a chance to go back, pull the special price tag off the shelf and haul it up there. That's what I do to avoid the problem.
  3. Not bare here. Plenty of stuff on every aisle. But I would not be surprised if they ordered less or canceled some orders as the economy has gone downhill.
  4. New one on me. What are you talking about exactly?
  5. You do realize it occasionally varies. Last year we had one store go one day, then another store another day because the team was behind due to such high volume. You can TRY to schedule it, but there is no guarantee you'll hit it.
  6. $18 Graco Play Yard!!! http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=10249995 http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/67/83/52/33/0067835233208_215X215.jpg
  7. Check back on Monday. That would be the normal time.
  8. It is a shame that Sears doesn't take coupons. But your experience at Walmart is not one I've ever had. Here the employees are nasty and unpleasant. I have never yet had a positive experience going to one of their stores. They are always disorganized, dirty, dark and the employees act like they are doing you a favor helping you. And that is if you can find one on the sales floor. Sears is generally clean around here, though their customer service is abysmal.
  9. the move more slowly on electronics a lot of the time.
  10. I saw this today by chance. I believe this is the one, Dora's Magical Welcome House. Normally $87.99, is on a temporary markdown to $49.99 at Target. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51DTzvaNt1L._AA400_.jpg
  11. I have been at TRU for the last 3 weekends, and it gets busy late in the day Saturdays, but if you are able to go for the Friday part, you should not find it crowded.
  12. Yeah, I feel that way too! Yeah, I have a backlog of the 10% rewards. I wouldn't need to spend anything for a couple of years, and I'd still get one each month. Could be you are right, but I sure feel like KC!
  13. The toy coupons are available on their site and in most stores on an endcap side display http://sites.target.com/site/en/spot/page.jsp?title=toy_coupons_main&&ref=sc_iw_r_14_2 I have gotten them in past years by mail as well, but didn't this year. I know my mail hasn't been rifled and stolen, unless they did it at the PO itself. When I have asked about not getting mailers in the past, Target has said that they do not always mail to the same people from year to year or promo to promo. They may simply not have sent them to us this year. BOO!!
  14. Here is the link: http://sites.target.com/site/en/spot/page.jsp?title=toy_coupons_main&&ref=sc_iw_r_14_2
  15. The store I found it in won't adjust anything, so I didn't bother. maybe I'll find them at another.
  16. Found one today, but it was full price.
  17. It has an expiration date on the rewards card. FYI, you get a simultaneous one to use online, so you can also shop there as a separate 10% off transaction. I usually just don't want to pay full price or shipping... It is good for about a month after you get it. You can only use it for the one day, but as many times you want at as many Target stores as you can find that day. If it comes now, it won't be good for toy clearance. You would need to get it in the mail, probably in late December or Early January to be able to use it. I have one I am saving for Black Friday. I get one every month, and it comes around the 2nd or 3rd, and it is good till the 7th or 8th of the following month.
  18. Just saw the Target BF ad info posted on another site. Hope Brad gets it up soon.
  19. They have online codes, like webkinz, and you can do stuff with them. these were the original online "pet" and my nieces, now HS & college age, played with them online in elementary & Jr. High. neopets.com
  20. that one has a minimum of $50 you have to put on it, though. camera is probably a hunk of junk, too.
  21. Oh yeah. My kids have tons of gift cards from all sorts of stores. They never let me toss them. They LOVE them. BTW, there is a Christmas Target gift card with M&Ms in it! Yum!
  22. It isn't exactly toy clearance time. This is the time of year when they get all the new stuff in, so it is unlikely you'll find much there. In general they do a ton of clearance toward the end of each season, then it will go in waves where there are dry periods. This is one of those periods. There are items on clearance, but not nearly as much as there was a couple of months ago. Just wait till after Christmas when it gets crazy for months on end!
  23. someone else mentioned it a few days ago. For some reason, last year they did the same thing with a few Christmas toys that were in the toy department (like the Barbie is). They kept them to the toy markdown schedule rather than the holiday one.
