I was thinking it probably would go tomorrow or Tuesday. I was REALLY hoping. I am on jury duty down in East LA and have some good stuff stashed down there. Stuff I hadn't seen for a few weeks as the Pasadena stores. I was hoping to still be on jury duty when it goes to 75%. I figured I'd be there till at least Tuesday and maybe even Wednesday. Tomorrow would be nice. I didn't go to the store you mention today, but there was still a fair amount left at the 2 story store. It sometimes goes down faster if there is less left. So I guess we'll see. I don't report for duty till afternoon, so I'll try to swing by that store in the morning. thanks for the info!

Just an FYI, last year the coupons had a lot of flexibility as far as their systems went. You could use the Thomas coupons on other Thomas toys, etc. This year it seems to be really strict on letting you use it only for the items printed on it. Bummer! Also, I had trouble using them today because they were computer printed. Another one of those, we don't take these anymore, cashiers. Of course I argued and they took them, but be aware.

These come in a separate supplement called the Toy Book or Toy Catalog. I would be shocked if they weren't in tomorrow's paper. They do not come out in the standard ad.

Wow! I've NEVER heard of that. That is interesting. Were you just going by signs, or did you actually scan it. They do the holiday clearance from the corporate office, so it should have been 50%. But they might not have changed the signs.

Could be different. I have heard other stores discount their videos, but usually they seem to be the ones that may have been stuck in a stock room and missed when they do their returns. Or they are the off-beat stuff. I know they discount the ones that are out of their copyright as the companies that manufacture them don't need to take those back. So if you are getting sort of the non-licensed ones that may be why. The companies that manufacture the ones that are copyrighted have to pay a royalty unless it gets destroyed, so they return them as it is apparently cheaper. Similar to books getting their covers ripped off so they can't be sold.

You are lucky on the videos. They don't actually clearance them, which is why they weren't ringing half price. They send them back and get credit for them.

For the paper products, I'll definitely take them at half and be happy. They are too large to leave anywhere and expect to find them much later. But with the smaller items, I have enough of them salted around enough stores that I'll hold out till 75% or even 90%. It is a bit of a game, though, and I have lost out. You just have to be willing to do that.

LOL! I "misplaced" quite a few of the toys at various stores figuring I'll get a few of them. Just came back from returning some item's I'll probably buy back tomorrow, and moved around a few of the halloween napkins & soft soap. I don't mind using Halloween napkins at Christmas!

Could be that the item is not in the system, but I have tried a number of things that ARE usually in the system, and I can't get it to work for anything either. May be not working again.

Yeah, I think that is the one she means. I got lucky and got it for $25 back during the August clearance. Some of the small stores clearanced them then. I hid one and got if for DS for Christmas. He'll be thrilled! I am hoping to get one of the Batman Penguin sets. FYI, I also saw the Lego Creator Jet Plane on clearance at one store yesterday. It is the first time I saw it.

Yup! I used to buy it in Hong Kong when I lived in Mainland China to take back after holidays. It was nice to have some real milk available during the year, but it definitely had a slightly different taste. I haven't ever had any reason to keep it around since I have been back in the US. I wouldn't want to drink it in my lunch, though. I just have my kids buy their milk at the cafeteria when they pack a lunch (or they take a MM juice box!).

Yes, as someone said, it depends on store sales. Target generally marks down on a national schedule, but some items simply don't sell well in a particular area, so they clear it and make room for something that does. It also depends on store size. Smaller stores will clearance items that large stores don't because they have less selling space and, again, have to make room for the best sellers.

The smaller stores don't have the nativity & advent calendars, so if yours is small, it might not have them. If they do have them, though, they are stocking both on the top shelf of the Playmobil toys in the toy department.

I was pretty surprised today. I was able to get several of the Color Wonder Art set that was on clearance!
