Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2010

It is always just certain UPCs. Not sure what the one is now, I cleaned up on the Duracells a few weeks back so I didn't pay attention. But always look for the ones that seem different from the others on the pegs. -

They don't always get the markdown sticker, so he may well be right. But nice deal. -

It sounds like you are describing the Duracell deal from a while back. The ones on clearance now are Energizers. -

Yup. Definitely seems to have started. It is right on the mark to end at the end of July or first of August. -

Have you gone before? It is fun but chaotic. Not so sure about taking DS, he's 9, but he really wants to go to do the Pokemon playing thing. Bummed to see the LPS DID NOT go down again today!! Didn't get a chance to check on the Clue Spies game. Have to make a stop back by to see if it went down. The boys want it, and I want to encourage games! -

Oceanside has nothing left because of Camp Pendleton. Marine wives are bargain shoppers. :) I go to that store when we visit SD every summer with the kiddos. DS & I will go there when we go to Comic Con next month. Then we'll go again when we go in August to Legoland. I just wish they had better deals. Still, I can't resist going, even on vacation... -

Assuming she has the key pad on her scanners....Some stores still don't have them, or they are constantly broken.... -

They aren't going anywhere. They are full price at some stores. Some stores have the $17.48 price on the shelf tag. -

Very interesting. Electronics are touchy, which is why I said make sure about restrictions. Definitely check that out if you feel you have to go that route. -

They usually have some stuff that is clearanced earlier than the rest, however, you might ask and find out if your store is getting a remodel. Our 2 closest stores are both getting a full remodel with the toy sections being moved to a totally different part of the store next month. So, they might want to do clearance a couple of weeks early in those stores. They'll want to do the re-set with the new merchandise rather than set it up twice by moving it then changing it over. Lucky you! They don't usually take stuff that low except holiday merchandise or stuff that is way old and found in the back. Ours went 75% this week. -

I'd at least try. Or see if you can buy it now and return it on the old receipt if they say no. Make sure they don't have any return restrictions on it. It is rare, but sometimes they do for electronics. -

Last year I got home with some nice King Size sheets (hard to find here - not Cal King, just King) from Macys. Washed them and tossed the packaging. Went to put them on and discovered they were Queens in a King package. VERY frustrating. Couldn't do a return. Mom has a queen bed, so I gave them to her on her next visit. Now I check when I take them out. -

Our stuff is just 30%. What do the solar fountains look like? Don't think I've seen them at all. Are they inside with the patio stuff, or outside with the plants? Grills are always hit or miss, it seems. They have some clearanced at some of our stores, but other stores are full price for all of them. They tend to go quickly once they hit 50%, too. LPS figs have been 50% here for 3 weeks. -

No, no. I don't spend all that at Target. In fact, I've been pretty fed up with their card services and have stopped using it there except on my shopping days. On those days, I have spent more than $1000 before. So, it isn't going to be that great for me. I am shopping around for a better credit card. I just need to find the one I want. I've kept this card only because I have all those points racked up. Cberrytech, I doubt they'll allow you to stack them. The 5% thing was only for people whose cards were registered to addresses there, not people visiting the store. It comes off at the credit card statement, not the receipt. But correct me if I'm wrong KC-Traderbear. -

If you spend more than $1000 in a month, they keep accumulating. We use it for our business, so we average $3000-$5000 per month. They will only issue a single 10% off card per month, so they keep accumulating. -

Yes, I heard it a week or so ago. Can't say I am that thrilled, as I have about 40,000 points. -

I overheard 2 markdown teams at 2 different stores today indicating that next week is going to be big because they are going to mark down all the patio furniture. Just a heads up to anyone who is watching it. Seems like it is a week or two early this year, but I don't keep it on the calendar. In any case, if you are stalking patio stuff, it starts next week. Lots of food items down to 50% and more at 30% today. Had to go hit some of the stores with more food items. It varies so much from store to store! Missed all the good beer, unfortunately!! One of our stores apparent got their liquor license recently. So, SoCal stores, don't be surprised if you start seeing a small section of hard liquor next to the wine. -

It does have the pictures as well, and they are all the standard figures. I don't imagine Target will mind. They'll get the amount you paid covered, and Hasbro won't ever know. -

The coupon lists 4 assortments, and they are all the standard packs. But, hey, if it works, it works. It does limit the value to $5.99. -

This one is highly variable. They clearanced them at some stores about 6 weeks ago, and now they are full price again. They have them 50% off here at some of our stores. Others have the exact same toy full price. And the price varies from $1.48-$1.68 depending on the full price ($2.99 some stores and $3.29 others). I don't think it applies to this assortment, but on a side note, there is a BOGO coupon for LPS on coupons.com. it only applies to the regular packs, I believe. And for those who buy LPS, the purse & postcard sets are on sale for $4 per pack and the multi packs are back to $9.99. Sorry, this is stuff I reported to the LPS collector's site, and didn't get on here. -

I don't think they did LOL in the girls stuff, did they? All ours was salvaged after 30%. -

Forgot to mention that they marked a number of toys on down to 75% off yesterday. Nothing I wanted, but it included the battle strikers black thingy, FAMPS and Ni Hao Kai Lan Mega Bloks. Not GI Joe. Dancing Buzz Lightyear was marked last week at one and this week at another. -

Didn't stop to see what they were marking, but for those who were following girls jeans, they were marking in the girls department today. Holiday or no, it is a regular work day for markdown team.
