My deal of the day...Scrubbing Bubbles on sale for $2.49 each. $2 off purchase of 2 peelies (on the more expensive variety but good on all types) and a $5 gift card coupon from the newspaper coupons from a few weeks ago. I got 2 sets of 4, so 8 cans total for $.24 each plus tax.:) Anyone still seeing cameras on clearance? Ours all seem to have disappeared.

I found way more AAA than I could use, and I made sure they went to people I knew in the stores. But I only found 5 packs of AAs. I wish I could have found 10! My kids go through them very fast also, and they usually have a 2-3 year shelf life.

Our stores always go to 75%. However, if you have a lot of young families in Pensacola, they may simply sell out before they get there.

Yeah, not sure what to call it. Last week I noticed they do the furniture endcaps like that sometimes, though, to display a chair or something. I'd never seen them do anything like it in toys before.

Most likely. The Bakugan sections are highly variable right now from store to store. The stores with the big black "island" thing at the endcap (where they took out a section of the regular aisle) seem to still have that setup. But stores that just had a standard endcap seem to only have about 3 rows of pegs on the regular aisle. Our stores have not pulled everything, but they aren't getting anything new in, so that might be the other reason they aren't hurrying to restock it.

Now that IS a good deal if you can get the Maxus Dragonoid on clearance. I got them for $25 each before Christmas and the boys were thrilled. They aren't even clearance here.

I FINALLY found some AAs today! We stopped at a store far from my usual domain and had to look. The kids are on spring break and have gotten used to looking for every Battery Center in the store. They are generally only on the main aisle around the store like if you want to walk the perimeter but inside instead. They tend to be near but not at the scanners, too. Generally 1-2 per length of the 4 sides of the square of the store, if that helps. Yep, every one has been at the back of the bunch. If you see the ones with the $10 coupon thing in the middle, that is a dead giveaway, so look up from below. That and the stars on the right corner. There are others, but those are easiest to spot. Glad we took the kids out to this other area to play putt putt golf today! DS turned 9 Monday and we agreed he could get a pocket knife (with some supervision), so we stopped to buy it while we were out.

that yellow font it REALLY hard to read. Actually, these Bakugan are cheaper as they are discontinued. Target clearanced them about 6 weeks ago or so. You can get them for about $3 each still at TRU. The Traps are about $5, so is is only a moderate value. But, if you need the storage and can get them cheap, it isn't bad. My kids don't want these anymore, though, they just want to get new Season 3 ones:(

Bummer! They do that sometimes. They take stuff back to full price after a holiday. Particularly something like that that is basically the same as the standard toy that they still sell. All the penguins in the series are or have been released as regular series toys, and the online code is just as valid. I guess I got lucky. I found a couple 2 days ago and they still rang up INF.

If it is these below, it has 2 Bakuan, 1 Trap & 10 cards inside. It is meant to be used for storage, but they dent incredibly easily. All the ones I have seen in the store are dented. They make the same plushies as part of different series. If they say Series 7 or Series 3 or something like that on the tag, they are not Easter. That manufacturer also has a tendency to change their UPCs on the tags, and that causes all sorts of problems. I have encountered that with the Neopets & Pokemon plush that they also make.

Only one of our multiple stores around here took it straight to 50%. It is selling there, but it isn't selling fast at the other stores where it is 30%. The release of the TS3 toys is May 1, so they probably won't drag it out like they did Bakugan.

SO Jealous! I have found about 20 or so of the AAAs. I bought 3 and gave all the rest to other customers or employees (builds goodwill!) who really appreciated them. But I have yet to find a single pack of AAs!! The kids are out of school so it is harder for me to hit additional stores this week. Hope I can get out before they salvage them!

90% is usually 2 days only. I found a few odds & ends and checked out with a sympathetic cashier. He was still annoyed with his own store manager because he took all the Christmas stuff off the floor before it went 90% off and he had been waiting for it. He was mad not to be able to get anything.

Yes, that is what salvage means. In some areas they sell to Salvation Army or Goodwill (they do not donate it). In some areas they sell to Big Lots and other stores like them. They also sell to salvage companies that auction it off online. You can often see their salvage at Liquidation.com. There has been a lot less available to these stores that rely on salvage, so they are able to command higher prices for what is available now.

anyone go out this morning and find out if Easter is salvaged? I wasn't able to get out yesterday after all, and hate to make the drive if they are going to deny me the stuff I find...
