I am CERTAIN that some of our store's ereaders went home with markdown team. I hit 5 stores, and only 1 had one left. And it was in a go-backs cart. I had asked the electronics employees about them and they told me they were gone. Then, when I was perusing toys next door, they tracked me down with one they found in a cart. Which I thought was sweet. It was a return so hubby is checking it over to see if there are any problems. I am planning to give it to DS. I was hoping to find 4 so I could have one and 2 for my girlfriend's girls. My main store was putting off Electronics markdowns till tomorrow, and they weren't down as of 2:30, so I am hoping to get the last 2 they have tomorrow morning. The gal in electronics knows I want them and has been watching and promising to hold them for me. I hope it works out. If not, DS got one...

Marked down at all our stores today. Unfortunately, I've only found 1 and it was a return. Other stores showing none. Raining and don't want to drive all over creation. I have one more store to try. I needed 4 for myself and my friend, so we'll both be disappointed, looks like.

They are having these 2 day sales every week. Sometimes they have more than one per week. Just sign up for their email to get the links to the coupons and flyers.

Depends if they catch it. Since it is on here, they probably will. ;-) They had the R2D2 7" remote control toys mis-marked this way for a month at one of my stores last spring. I bought several for gifts. One thing to note is even if they fix the price in the system, if the shelf tag still has the lower price, they have to honor it. I saw some Leapster games mis-marked this way at a local store when they did the fall reset. I got one game for $1.23 and 2 for $7.24 because they had not fixed the tags.

They discontinued them a few months ago. That was the last clearance price, and they are bringing them back into stock but forgot to update the pricing. It happens more than you would think!

Some of you remember that I was concerned about he new rewards program because I have accumulated 50,000 points on my account and they are only going to do the 10% things for another 6 months. Well, for others with extra points, they called me and said they'd calculate the remaining total and send a gift card. Not sure how, but something is better than nothing.

Yes. I've seen them. Some Tom Toms and Garmin units. Both the lowest end models. They seem to salvage them at 50% most of the time. There have been a few reports of people getting them 75% off in the past.

Garden centers closed. Locked up. Blocked off. Done. So sad.... Checked ereaders again. Gone in 2 stores (didn't have the DPCI to punch into the scanner, but employee I know says they did not go lower) and dropped from 30% to 50% in another store. Lots of boys shirts and shorts marked down.

We've had that problem a lot. We have some with the keypads sunk in so you can't touch them. One works when I press the numbers with my keys. Still, why install them if they aren't going to maintain them?

No, it only says if they are in the back and the current price.

You have to report that stuff. Get the name and call the 800 number. They have video cameras in the store, and they'll see it. In the case here they actually changed the price in the back, and the items never made it to the sales floor at the clearance price. pretty sad.

Not likely here. They fired a slew of price change team members last spring for that nonsense.

The e-readers here are all still the same price. Generally when they hang out this long without movement it means they are going to salvage them, so I doubt I'll get any. Such a bummer.

Garden center plants 75%

Still 30% only here, and only at a few stores. Most still full price. The regular Tag Toy Story ones aren't on sale anywhere I've been.

That is the usual way they do it. However, ours were both marked 2 weeks ago (30% & 50% at different stores), and they did not go this week. I have a sinking feeling that they'll salvage the ones that didn't go down this week.

They salvaged the dollar spot this morning. Is your store getting a remodel? They seem to be least predictable lately.

The san dimas store is just 3 or 4 miles from la verne. Pull up theLV store on google maps and you'll see the others

I know it is a bit far for you, but check San Dimas (57 & Arrow Hwy). They have the GC entrance from inside the store closed off for the remodel, so they still had stuff left the other day. You might also try LaVerne if you come up here as they often have more left than others. I think there is a 3rd store another 8 miles down the 210 toward the 15 that you could check if you decide to treck up here.

It's always this early. They do the lights & cards with Halloween every year.
