I think it's rarely better than that (for big appliances) except on BF, sometimes you get an extra discount if you have a sears card but I think it's pretty tricky to find one you can combine. Maybe check if there's an outlet near you and check that? Your best bet will be to see if there's a rebate available or if shipping is free where you could use a credit card that gives you rewards in addition to buying through a rewards site.

bought tons of learning books and flash cards in brown spot at 70% section along with a few pairs of spider man and dinosaurs socks. found 2 great binders in school section 5.50 (2*1.5 inch) and 4.50 case its brand great for storing coupons and have shoulder straps perfect for taking into store from car and dumping in cart. Buy of the day 4* star wars guess who 4.48 have to go back to get $4 coupons taken off. Can't beat a christmas/bday gift for .48 :). Some Jansport bags at 7.48 and several younger kids bags as low as 2.48.

It looks like the dolls come out in October but Target has some clothes from same collection out and 3 pieces already clearanced on website.

Brown spot still 50% without signs and BTS not priced for me. I checked a backpack and a zipped up binder and they were maybe 15%, so I stashed the binder. But I stopped by the Target next door and found an even bigger bargain than hoped:)

I agree, it kinda stinks to get a gift card. We cancelled the work exchange due to this happening several years in a row.

Doesn't seem OP is getting many helpful suggestions. Maybe a different way around the question would be finding out what stores are like in your area on BF and what your must haves are so OP can try and avoid the more chaotic places? I actually left the house last year just after 6am since I overslept (due to being up most of the Turkey Day and night waiting for sales and watching Amazon) and managed to get almost everything on my list(nothing must have missed). My list included disney slippers and blanket sleepers from JCPenney and pj's from both Walmart and Target. I think the Target ones were cuter/better material but the ones at Walmart had matching slippers. To be fair I live in Miami so there probably wasn't a huge demand for the blanket sleepers and they're probably a hotter item in colder climates. I apologize in advance if I ruffle any feathers as it is NOT my intention it just seems like OP is getting the info they already knew i.e. "It's not going to be a walk in the park with kids on BF".

I haven't got suggestions as such but I think the sports thing is a good idea if you're into that stuff. I didn't add too much info since I couldn't think of much

Amazon was amazing last year, they practically price matched lots of stores but you had to be there at the right time to get the deals. They won't price match an ad or anything but are pretty good at keeping their prices competitive especially over Thanksgiving/BF last year.

I saw the single dolls at Big Lots of all places for $15 each but I'm not sure what their going price is.

Are we continuing to post as they become available? BFF's husband just asked me to keep an eye out for their 4year old daughter, they're nuts.
