Ooooh,you have a nice boss...I was lucky the company I was with for 5 years gave it as a holiday but my boss never reminded anyone of anything and if the form was too late she'd just deny it EVEN if she had prior knowldge and it was just a formality. Things like Thanksgiving or Christmas you pretty much had to put in the year before or right after holiday to beat other colleagues since we were such a small dept. Looks like I'll be unemployed this year but between my savings and rental income should be ok to get whatever I want except maybe huge splurges. The only big thing I need this year is a networkable color laser printer and maybe an uber router if the price/spec is right.

I have most of it now listed with price/ages and will type into a spreadsheet and bundle into age/sex categories, it's just that there's so many large things that space is pretty much run out and organizing them is a mess. It's a fabulous idea BUT the stickers are staying on the damn boxes now (for what's organized/stacked anyhow). I've never had trouble with them that I recall but now I have my list being setup don't need them and avoids having to do it when wrapping.

maybe you gave to someone else as a bday gift or something? I like the colored lid idea. I stacked the large long boxes and piled stuff on top still in bags. I think I still have Xmas weebles from a few years back under my bed in separate storage, they'll have to wait for another kid.

Sorry it didn't work for you. I'm not sure it seems weird supposedly it's a daily thing but I scanned 3 cards on Sunday and got no coupons then yesterday scanned 3 and got 2 coupons, same today getting 1 w/same card as yesterday and another with a different card.

the store I just went to had the sour cream and onion chips for 1.25 and the bumble bee tuna or chicken salad individual sets 10/$10 so got one of each in each order and paid .25 for each order of chips and salad set.

CVS coupon machine is printing $2 off gold emblem chips, popcorn or cheese puff coupons daily supposedly. I found the sour cream and onion potato chips 11oz bag scanning for 1.29, some others claim to have found butter popcorn, cheddar popcorn and kettle chips scanning for under $2 also.

Congrats, Great score :) Not exactly offline related but I found(via twitter post) this target site where if you like an item and enter mobile# they supposedly send you a coupon for back to college stuff might be worth a look throughout the day. I just wanted to thank everyone again for posting ASAP about toy clearance. I did fantastically well again this year and with being laid off since April it really does help ensure Christmas won't be affected. I spent too much as usual but unless I find fabulous deals will not need to buy toys for quite a while, now if only I could organize it all in an easy to find manner. Ideas?

during the toy clearance I had a great find in beauty section: ###037120351 Olay Professional ProX wrinkle smoothing cream 5.97 was 23.89 plus I had some coupons for $3 off each so came to 2.97 almost 90% off.

If you have the receipt and drop by the store it may be worth asking anyhow, my store has never asked for items even though I always have them with me when swapping payments or getting coupons credited. They always tell me its easier to key in info.

If your target is close by I'd go back with receipt and ask them to return/repurchase on target card. I got mildly annoyed with my closest Target again today. Everything is still strewn across aisles AND all scanners within 2 aisles were out of order. Needless to say I piled the cart full and dragged some stuff that was sitting on a shelf marked clearance and when none of it rang any discount I promptly left it right there on the floor piled as best I could. There was another lady there who actually took it up with an associate and the guy ACTUALLY told her that the 50% off sign was wrong since they went to 75% today AND that only things with clearance stickers are on sale. I advised her the other store in area is well organized and has working scanners and she kinda blew me off too, I totally would have felt her pain but I did so well yesterday and again this morning that I didn't complain. I actually scanned the elmo shape and spin and left it since it was full price, I wonder if this is a case of them not having gone through all merchandise and will eventually either scan and system will adjust or if they'll just stay at full price? My memorable things today were a huge imaginext castle, a thomas train set, Tinkerbell jewelry box play sets, barbie sister's beauty fun(brings a doll and a vanity setup with 3 sinks/mirrors, step stool etc), some cute little boy canvas chairs w/cover to look like a bear, barbie clothing set for 1.99 and some liv dolls/accessories to go with clothes I bought yesterday. I bought an egypt themed lego set for 7.xx but left the cars red car one (also 7.xx), the boys are way too little and all the themed stuff probably won't last that long. I found an amazing toy story 3 one I was going to make an exception for but scanned 50% only. I found boys jeans at 3.24 (-2 target coupon) and mens jeans 5.74 (-3 target coupon).

I was looking at HP series used but shipping was an extra $25 or so The prices are great but killed it with shipping this order. It also annoyed me that I had to put in CC information for it to calculate shipping too.

I think I'll rehit stores tomorrow and see if new stuff marked. none of the batman/cars/harry potter stuff was marked but i had so much i couldn't be bothered to check. Come to think of it didn't see any lego's marked but there were lots of clearance shelf tags. Sucks shopping alone w/ little trunk space, i had to go to grocery and was paranoid the whole time(10min) that someone would break into car.

The understatement of the year for me :) I called my mom so she could tell her friend about the sale and she instinctively says " You didn't buy anything did you?" I responded with "not much" in a very sarcastic tone then called my bff in case she wanted to drop by before work. I feel bad for her since she never stocks up on stuff and always winds up getting kids on her xmas list generic toys from walgreens since it's convenient for her(works there). My father didn't know whether to be upset or proud as he helped me take stuff out of the car, it's nice to be able to give kids nice toys without breaking the budget. My target card saved me an additional $7 over clearance prices :) Now I'm off to take a picture, catalog and find somewhere to store it all.

If someone had done that to me without scanning I would have just been plain pissed. I would have asked for it back and walked straight over to CS or even leave it there and check with CS after the case if it was something I was really interested in. I know we're all out for a deal and the employees may feel slighted/left out because they don't have the chance to get great deals but that's no excuse for that kind of behavior. If you checked out other stuff with same person they can verify what he did with it by asking or even checking video. If he bought it later they can possibly make him return it so you could purchase it. Also, you could argue that as you were unable to purchase due to rep they should offer you something similar at same price. If you didn't check out with him but still have his name and rough time/checkout they should still be able to track him down. At the absolute very least you should call so that this person gets disciplined so that it doesn't happen to someone else.

I don't see anything either but I think if something is under recall the register shows a message. I'd call the store and ask to speak to manager about it and give them info from receipt, they should be able to verify who cashier was etc if indeed they lied to you. For future cases, I think all the recalls are posted at customer service not sure how far back though. Mega website doesn't show any blok products being recalled.

hmm...thats an idea for later/tomorrow. Store this am didn't have any dvd's, I wonder if I can get online if I can't find at another target. Target should take coupon at customer service if you go back today with receipt. Did anyone who waited around notice if the dora travel accesories kit went down to 75%? My store had a kit with like hair dryer/curler etc but I didn't need so didn't check price. I saw a princesses one weeks ago and thought it'd be perfect but was full price, dora was marked at 30% but they hadn't finished marking when I left

I agree or maybe a furreal friends furry frenzies city if you find one? My store had them marked down to somewhere between 6-10 and I thought it'd be cute but I already have plenty of girl stuff and it's a big box. For the older one maybe the moxie artitude 3d design kit it was 4.98 at my store. I think the my littlest petshop and barbies go over well and were slightly cheaper if you can find any. I got 2 MLP sets 1 had 2 animals and stuff and the other had just one animal with stuff but at 2.xx I couldn't leave it. They don't take up much space and make an easy gift.

There were two ladies working the section (Bird Rd) and I found most of this just going up and down aisles. They did have 1 or 2 condensed aisles which they were still working on and mostly marked 30% but nothing I was interested in except the smashed potatoes game I asked one of them to scan. One of the guys working over in electronics was amused by the sight of me and a piled shopping cart which just kept growing, he joked for me not to forget his Christmas gift. I got lucky that when I turned up just after 10am a) they were still marking stuff down and doesn't seem like people around here know or care about this sale :) I started w/ one cart and got it all to checkout just barely but needed a second cart and help to the car since everything I bought was so bulky.
