The other return was made only recently on some recalled toddler keys from target, still waiting for replacement over a month later.

I agree the easiest way to not spend GC is to keep them somewhere safe. In my case that place becomes very safe when I forget where it is :) I get mine through erewards for completing surveys. Sometimes it takes a while to accumulate points but you can't beat free GC.

It's definitely possible, my local stores showed tons in stock online when they dropped in price but nothing in store. It could've just been lagged though.

Around here it seems like it's never too early:P I can't remember when it happened last year. I'm not sure it's too early for Halloween but it's definitely too early for Christmas stuff in stores. I'm partial though Halloween is my favorite holiday even if it isn't official.

Good idea, I think we have a few people that buy the index cards on wire ring and paste ads to them w/notes listed in order by store and items wanted to make it easier visually. I think for price matching they take a binder with original copy of ads. While price matching may be easier on hubby you should be careful, I've seen posts advising Walmart removes competitor sale items to avoid PM'ing.

Just checked my BF Amazon link from last year and shows sales will start up November 21 so the monday week of Thanksgiving.

Our Big Lots also had Christmas stuff out, I found a cute Alvin and the Chipmunks animated toy and a singing dog that wagged it's tail I just had to play with. Both were over priced me for but I'll definitely keep an eye out and hope the puppy goes on sale or is still available after Christmas. The Chipmunk was the only one there and already dirty so little hope I guess unless the other store has more. I would so love to annoy Bella with that puppy..she has a Halloween pig from Walgreens and whines at it

The most important thing for online shopping is being fully awake all night, knowing what you want and when that particular store sale goes live in your time zone. We usually post approximate times but (I believe) not everything goes live at the same time and sometimes it's a VERY long night. I overslept last year due to waiting for BB to go live, it should have gone at midnight but didn't. Bonus, Amazon had some amazing deals last year which I fully expect them to carry on this year but again it's a matter of reading the clue before hand, noting what you are or might be interested in and being online when it goes live.
