Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2011
tinkrbel replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I wanted to get the pink converse but they were all too small for Mia...I picked up a few pair of black tie up boys cherokee school for 4.24 (saw sizes 6-12). Also picked up some merona button down shirts for women at 4.98 and found the closet organizers for 1.98 marked down as I was there because I had scanned them before and were 3.98 or something. Lucked out with a pair of girls jeans for 3.24 and a pair of boys for 2.48 along with cute girl dresses (12mo and 3t) for 3.xx, I'll post item#'s later. ###031-07-0008 - Xhil dress - $3.24 baby girl dress ###033-05-4712 - TB GK Short - $2.48 carpenter shorts ###013-05-3758 - Merona top - $4.98 women's button down shirt ###013-05-3776 - Merona top - $4.98 women's button down shirt ###025-10-1466 - Merona socks - $2.25 women's 6 pk socks (available in fold down, crew sock or texturized) ###093-02-1296 - Cherokee Douglas - $4.24 ###205-03-3874 - Girls Circo denim capri - $3.24 ###002-05-0289 - Sweater organizer - $1.98 6 shelf organizer ###002-05-0290 - Shoe organizer - $1.98 ###002-05-0299 - Bed Caddy - $2.48 I think the organizers and caddy are going back since they just seem very flimsy. The shoe one will not hold anything but maybe flip flops or complete flats and the sweater one I might try with homemade cardboard cut out since maybe it just needs a little support. I'm glad I decided to open shower caddy in store as that was miniature too. -
yup, next webacast is supposed to be camping related with possible videos and details equipment guidelines all taken care of. I'm in Miami and I think last year there were already people at my local one by Wednesday night, not sure how many though.

I want to win one.....black is so much nicer than blue:P

I totally agree with you, this will be your biggest problem. I'm not familiar enough with the stuff to say whether it will be available afterwards though. Ipods can go either way since they're still extremely popular, I think if you see any offer on them now you should go for it. I think the same for the gaming systems, as it gets closer to christmas more and more people will be buying their gifts and stock may be depleted no matter at what price. If you see a sale after you've bought it AND there's no restocking fee(or it's less than price difference) you can always buy cheaper one and return. Bj's has bundles of the systems but the savings don't seem huge.

Aside from the list I make up in Excel, I think this is the biggest thing. I know some people need carts for lots of big things but if you do not then don't bother. It's easier to get around lines of bunched up people and carts without one. It never ceases to amaze me how people with or without carts will just take up whole aisles even lining up next to each without consideration for others. I don't leisurely stroll around stores on BF and don't appreciate the people who force me to. AND if you do end up needing something to put stuff in just use something from store, a bucket, storage bin etc. as you can still go around people easier than with a bulky cart. I don't remember taking my purse and people will frown upon it but I keep my cards and phone in pocket and do just fine. It's become a popular thing lately for random people to tell me I'm going to lose them but....it hasn't happened yet. One BF I thought I had lost them and I had just left in car cupholder ,that was very scary for a little while.

sounds obvious and you've probably already tried but why not log out and back in?

I second this idea :) and I'm really surprised with all the "errors" you guys are posting happened. Seems really out of place for Amazon and hope it doesn't continue into holiday season. ADD: I'm thankful everything I liked was different prices today as I really don't need anymore toys. I saved a few favorites to cart in case they drop again.

Missoni for Target® did you get any of it?
tinkrbel replied to Rockfordmom's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I saw a zig zag patterned top and the cardigan to go over it in a gold/copper combination and it wasn't hideous but both were XL, it's something I may have considered for my mom IF it had gotten to clearance. The sleeveless top/shell? was 24.99 and the fabric looked like the kind of stuff that if you run across your nail when it's not perfectly filed will snag and get all ugly. -

Can't wait to get my SS info to start putting stuff together!

From the accounts on here it was all over the place. Some stores had things misplaced or people were misdirected so wound up missing out on stuff even after being there all night. Some stores allowed people to put things in carts before time or size up clothes while others didn't. I considered going Wed and staying overnight for a laptop but just wasn't convinced the spec/price was good enough for the hassle along w/anger it would cause family. I was able to get what I needed when I strolled in about 9 maybe BUT the only big thing I wanted was the bluray players which they overstocked (thankfully). I don't care how you do things but be fair or call it a lottery and let ppl know outright it's the luck of the draw. I don't mind camping out if I want something bad enough but there has to be some definite order, i.e BestBuy ticket system. I'm not sure what I'd do if ,after spend 18+hours sitting outside in line or standing next to a pile, I missed out because of someone else's error. My biggest deciding factor w/WM was the store personnel, I worked a few blocks away and went in multiple days(at diff times of day) to try and get detailed info from store manager and always got attitude(why do you need manager?) or some other crappy response. This year there is a new Walmart closer to home but going by the showing at grand opening BF may be a disaster(tramplings etc) and I very much doubt I'll bother going at opening or staying overnight.

hmm...for my bff the Xmas after her 1st child was born I bought her bits and pieces off the registry that were still missing (and I knew she wanted). When my GS was born Dec1 (bff had everything form 1st) I got him My pal scout from leapfrog, there is a similar one from another company. It's a dog that they can cuddle with and the parent can program with their name, favorites, least favorites etc. For an 8 month old maybe a walker(they can grow into) or some sorting blocks? I also love the Summer Infant 3 in 1 Superseat as it helps them sit up but also gives them something to do. While it's bulky it was a life saver in hotel at disney and I'm sure could be used for visits to other ppl's home once he outgrows the bouncer. On a different note, baby won't really appreciate stuff SO maybe gift cards are a good idea and/or babysitting/shopping services.

Any ideas if Walmart will be having another "secret sale"?
tinkrbel replied to princess7794's topic in 2011
From what I remember it started two years ago. I got my tv 2 years ago and I think the deals last year were more online than the Saturday in store ones the year prior but I have bad memory so could be totally wrong. -
This is a good deal but no longer available online, check for store availability(none here).

Official Photo Prints Deals, Codes & Discount Offers Thread
tinkrbel replied to Brad's topic in Online Hot Deals
Thanks....we had created all this stuff at artscow and THEN were outraged by shipping charges and left all the collages hoping for this sale again. -
If there's a new leap pad coming out,I would stalk them at Target. When then brought out the new tag's they clearance the old ones to 7.48 and I was able to pick up a few. Just an idea, but you'd have to see when the others come out.

Excuse my stupidity? Tie how? Like a ribbon around trunk and to a hook on wall? I may need to try this if we put up the tree this year. I'm not too afraid Bella will eat stuff but she'll probably love to sleep under it or something.
-
I'm not to the point of not getting ANYTHING(for ppl I don't get along with) but I certainly won't think too hard about it or spend much on it. Such people got blurays from amazon's sale last year under $10 and if they didn't like it or already had it, they can regift it. One such person had the audacity to return something(bday gift that I begrudgingly gave to begin with) and tell me they won't use it SO.....they got nothing back even though I was told I should get her "something. Some people need to learn manners, she could have regifted it, donated, hell even trashed it. I'll be damned if I'm buying someone who constantly picks on me and belittles me a $60 perfume everytime they "deserve" a gift, they should be just be thankful I turn up to events and DON'T respond to their crap instead of NOT turning up at all which I'd much rather do.

I do remember hearing about it but I don't haven't had an american express card in years, I refuse to pay a fee to have a credit card.

With The Economy This Year Are You Cutting Back for Black Friday?
tinkrbel replied to bfaddict1977's topic in 2011
Is there a website that has all the information for making these things? do you just look it up whenever you get an idea? If it's just one site I'd appreciate the info since that'd help me out lots. -
I don't think they package ANYTHING automatically anymore except for maybe the brackets for over the range ovens. You should be able to find the info needed on the sears site, they're usually pretty good about "recommending" extras but the length needed will depend on location so you'll have to measure that out or just measure the one you currently have (I'm not sure if it'll be printed with size on it anywhere) but you probably don't have access to that.

If it's the 3 story one, my bff's daughter has it since last christmas and it's fine so far. I think the elevator tends to come off track but nothing is broken yet. She has a soon to be 2yo brother who we have to hide small pieces from but he's rough with it and it's still fine. It comes with miniature pieces like cutlery for table that we've had to teach her to put into a shoe box and place on table or in closet to keep away from her brother and the dogs. That house was a mission, paternal grandma bought at Toysrus then found cheaper in Target ad so returned to Toysrus before buying at Target then nobody could find until I pointed bff to Amazon where she said it was cheaper too:) It was the top thing on her Xmas list so a must have.
-
LOL...yes, make sure you get the right ones(different diameters I believe) and the right length depending on location.

I believe someone wanted the washer/dryer set from Sears last year and they were able to get it on Wed or Thurs without the hassle of waiting. HomeDepot had good deals on appliances last BF. If you're getting warranties they're probably cheaper from SquareTrade and they guarantee service within 5 days of call. We had a microwave die from HD within so many days(60-90) and HD refused to service it/exchange it because it was now up to the manufacturer, needless to say it took weeks to get these ppl to contact us back and after several faulty repairs we got a full refund after I put up a fuss. On the other hand my Tivo HDMI died and ST offered me the cost of getting it replaced through Tivo immediately or refund of full price(no fix available) and I received my check(they could have put through paypal too but I declined) within 2 weeks of providing receipt for RMA.

I must be nuts....I must have gotten my 1st pc(that I spec'd/bought w/my own $) around that time and don't remember paying anywhere near that much but it was from RadioShack
