  1. Once again, Newegg gives the box stores a run for their money.... And I don't have to wait in line!
  2. No, Lightning Deals are basically treated as completely separate items. You need to add Lightning items when they become available by clicking on the Lightning button and check out before the timer expires.
  3. Don't forget about my other comments above about Windows CE: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?182530-Official-Black-Friday-NETBOOK-TABLET-Discussion-Thread&p=1778774&viewfull=1#post1778774 The Windows CE operating system is originally from 1996, and it's styled very much like Windows 95 and requires it's own special programs. The boys might have more fun lighting the $80 on fire. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Mil-Camping/marshmallow.gif
  4. Anytime! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Bananas/drinking.gif
  5. Agreed. Please, unless it's literally $10, please DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING WITH WINDOWS CE. Buying a netbook with Windows CE is like buying a child's wind-up car and expecting to drive it to work.
  6. Sears used to give out snow globes to the first 100 people in line...
  7. Can't you just try PRIME for a month for free anyway?
  8. More popular albums have higher prices. As long as the $1.29 and the $.99 songs are the same length and the same version (not like a remix or something), you should be fine getting the cheaper songs.
  9. I got Maroon 5's "Hands All Over" for $2.00 after the discount, thanks! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0043CJ8AY/
  10. Amazon's "Partners" pay a fee to sell through Amazon -- but they do not need to follow Amazon's pricing.
  11. What comes next: Cyber Monday -- they actually get serious....
  12. I have an 8GB 2nd Gen Touch. I'm hitting the memory limit without movies/videos but I have a TON of free apps & games. And only 3 CDs worth of music.
  13. Agreed! New tunes for me! And good movies too.

    Micro Center ad?

As soon as we get ads we add them to the site...
  15. It does not have lifetime traffic. Did it say that in the ad? The 335LM is the same as the 335S, just that the 335LM has lifetime maps. Review of the 335S: http://cargpsreviews.net/tomtom-xl-335s-review.php With TomTom's current naming convention, for the 335LM to have lifefime traffic, its name would be 335LMT.
  16. It can handle Flash, actually. Just limited to simple animations... http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php?soft=98 No Flash games or anything like that... However, the drawbacks greatly outweigh the price IMHO. Windows CE is the equivalent of Windows 95, but with less options and features. It sure ain't pretty: http://www.guidebookgallery.org/pics/gui/extra/windowsce/desktop.png http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_ce Windows CE -- think very old "smartphone" in terms of technology and performance. Long in the tooth is an understatement. Original release date of November 1996? Really? Windows CE is so limited, it can't run Word, Excel, etc. It has it's own versions of Pocket Word, Pocket Excel, etc. And it has it's own subset of programs -- it can't run "regular" Windows programs at all (there is a WinCE version of Internet Explorer, but there is no WinCE Quickbooks, for instance.) http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php
  17. Absolutely, no question, look for a Sandisk Sansa Clip or Clip+ (Clip Plus). The plus version has a Sd card reader slot for additional memory (more tunes) -- with an 8GB Clip+ you could add a 32GB card and have a 40GB player! I've had my 4GB Sansa Clip for 2.5 years now. The sound is incredible... You will want to purchase a higher quality set of earbuds than the ones it ships with. Both Best Buy & Radio Shack will have the 4GB Clip+ on sale for $29.99 on Black Friday. Reviews: http://anythingbutipod.com/2009/08/sandisk-sansa-clip-plus-review/

  19. With the way you are doing things, don't be surprised if they can't give you the sleeve... It has to do with the programming in the register.
  20. Tim -- have you read through the thread about the netbooks that will be offered on Black Friday? http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?182530-Official-Black-Friday-NETBOOK-TABLET-Discussion-Thread
  21. My understanding is that it takes the travel data into account to plan the route, but only if there is travel data available. Chicago, San Fran, yes. Snapfinger (Georgia) and Roachtown (Illinois), not so much.
