Maybe they're not running that special in Ali's area? They are here in PA though. -

If you think you are on information overload, imagine how I felt writing the first 3 posts of this thread... http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Surprise/kot10.gif Bluetooth would be useful if your daughter doesn't already have a Bluetooth headset for her phone. But that will only work if she is using the unit, she can only use that function when she is near the unit, not all the time (like she could with a regular Bluetooth headset). And the FM capability is probably only necessary if your daughter needs to hear whatever MP3s she has stored on the unit over the car's radio, otherwise, most people just have the GPS' "voice" talking and the car's radio playing at the same time.

If you start looking at refurbs, just remember that 1st generation Nanos are a different shape and cannot play videos.
-
Quite simply, you don't. They play at random. You can keep "skipping" till you get to the one you want.

Probably the iPod Nano. I'm going to guess that she probably doesn't have enough music to come close to filling up a "Classic" and that the iTouch is too expensive to be practical for a 12 yr old, and the Shuffle lacks a screen, so that only leaves the iPod Nano. So now the question is whether to get the 4 GB or the 8 GB. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Hmmm/scratchchin.gif Although I have a Shuffle and I'm very happy with it. It went dead 11 months into the standard 12 month warranty and they overnighted me a replacement and had me send the old one back postage-paid. No fuss, no muss. Apple is top notch in that regard. I do wish my Shuffle had a screen though.

Best Buy is bundling iTunes giftcards (to allow her to buy songs from iTunes) with iPods now through Wednesday. That's about the best deal going, unless you buy a refurb. Here is a good comparison of the different models: http://www.apple.com/ipod/whichipod/

Wacom Bamboo Digitizing Tablet only $69 shipped - Buy.com
Marcster replied to Scott's topic in Online Hot Deals
Well, I would think you'd still need a mouse for regular computing... Opening programs, dragging and dropping that sort of thing. If you don't get a Bamboo Fun with the mouse then you'll have to use your whatever mouse you are currently using on some other dedicated area of your desk. -
Wacom Bamboo Digitizing Tablet only $69 shipped - Buy.com
Marcster replied to Scott's topic in Online Hot Deals
Just remember this is the Bamboo and not the Bamboo Fun, there are some differences: http://www.wacom.com/bambootablet/compare.cfm Namely, the Bamboo "Fun" comes with bundled software, more color choices (besides black), a cordless mouse, and the pen features an eraser (the standard Bamboo has no eraser). The "working area" of 5.8" x 3.7" is exactly the same. The Bamboo Fun is only $30 more ($99 w/ free ship). It seems like a better offer, unless I am missing something: http://www.buy.com/prod/wacom-bamboo-fun-small-digitizing-tablet-black/q/loc/101/205071741.html The Bamboo Fun is also available in a medium size with an 8.5" W x 5.3" D working area for $199.00 (http://www.buy.com/prod/wacom-bamboo-fun-medium-digitizing-tablet-black/q/loc/101/205071745.html) -
This may work for you, $69 with free shipping: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=89972 It's the Wacom Bamboo, not the Bamboo Fun. Differences: http://www.wacom.com/bambootablet/compare.cfm

Other Wacom products do... I can't see why this wouldn't as well. Review: http://www.trustedreviews.com/peripherals/review/2007/08/02/Wacom-Bamboo-Graphics-Tablet/p1 -
This is a discussion about where to buy Gun Safes on Black Friday, not whether or not guns should be legal or not. Another comment about this and you can have a vacation from Gottadeal. Circuit City Online Pre-BF Deal of the Day Sale until Wednesday
Marcster replied to glbanksitter's topic in 2007
I would pass on this one, unless you specifically knew you wanted to buy the lakes or marine maps for the Lowrance. Otherwise, this deal is a sleeper. http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Goodnight/BedTired029.gif -
Circuit City Online Pre-BF Deal of the Day Sale until Wednesday
Marcster replied to glbanksitter's topic in 2007
The Lowrance iWay 250C is still $239 for me... I guess they forgot to update their site (not that I'd buy one of these no-name units anyway). Reviews on the Lowrance iWay 250C: http://www.gpsreview.net/lowrance-iway-250c/ http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2704,2052343,00.asp http://gpstracklog.typepad.com/gps_tracklog/2006/10/lowrance_iway_2.html However, the iWay 250C is the only one that I've found being offered on BF that has optional marine maps. -

According to posts on this thread, Radio Shack will not have the Navigon 2100 on BF:http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=87388&page=7 (starting with post #189) http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=87388&page=8 Apparently the packaging for the Navigon 2100 scratches the screen -- supposedly, the Staples packaging was made especially for Staples and does not have that issue. Doorbusters are typically offered "in store ony" and are not available online at doorbuster pricing on BF.

Brad only posts the ads he receives. Some years we get ads that we don't other years. It's just the way things go. For instance, back in 2005 we had Black & Decker Outlet Store and Spencer Gifts, but we haven't had them since.
-
None that I found. Bass Pro Shops didn't have one. The only one that might would be Dick's Sporting Good. EDIT: The Lowrance iWay 250C being offered at Circuit City today only (11/19) has optional marine lake maps (at an additional cost): http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=89837 Review: http://gpstracklog.typepad.com/gps_tracklog/2006/10/lowrance_iway_2.html

Bass Pro Shops will have the Garmin nuvi 350 for the same exact price as Circuit City ($299.99). If you think that's the unit you want and have a Bass Pro Shop in your area (http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CFPage?appID=94&storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&CMID=MH_IN_EVENTS), then the line will be MUCH SHORTER at Bass Pro.

Doorbusters are only valid for those hours during BF. So you'll probably get a "no can do".
