  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ipod_touch A light sensor means that the ipod will automatically adjust the screen's brightness depending on how much light it reads in the immediate vicinity (outside in the sun vs. in a dark room, etc.)

    Batteries?????

Sam's Club now has their own in-house brand "Members Mark" batteries. Just saw them in the store tonight. 48 count of AA was $9.68. 48 count of AAA was $12.35.
  3. Kash58 -- I'll go you one better... Here is the TomTom 140 for $99.99 shipped: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16858194076
  4. TomTom 140 (plain one, no text-to-speech): http://www.amazon.com/TomTom-ONE-3-5-Inch-Portable-Navigator/dp/B001VEJEFG ($101.89 at Amazon, shipped) TomTom 140S (same unit, but with text-to-speech): http://www.amazon.com/TomTom-140-S-3-5-Inch-Portable-Navigator/dp/B001VEJEG0/ ($136.98 at Amazon, shipped) --- Kash58 -- You could order the TomTom 140 right now from Amazon, it may cost a few bucks more but it'll be less than what sales tax would be for your state on the one from your local Target (assuming they restock).
  5. The 325 is a widescreen unit, the 125 is not. 99.999% of people prefer a larger screen.
  6. Some reviews from actual owners: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16858194067&cm_re=tomtom-_-58-194-067-_-CustomerReview http://www.amazon.com/TomTom-4-3-Inch-Widescreen-Portable-Navigator/product-reviews/B0016ORQDI/ref=sr_1_1_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1 YMMV.
  7. TomTom uses the letter "S" in the model number to denote text-to-speech. For instance, the TomTom One 130S has text to speech, but the TomTom One 130 does not. I have never heard of a "red" model, all current models (and their features) are listed here: http://www.tomtom.com/products/category.php?ID=0&Language=4
  8. Do you have a price range?
  9. That's not a bad idea either -- that way boblabontefan wouldn't have invested any time waiting in line (since the crowds should have cleared out by then).
  10. It will probably depend on your local (county level or township level) laws and regulations regarding food & beverage service. Your church should look into if a permit is required to do that...

  12. Casio's Wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casio (They've been around since 1946). Many companies make a wide variety of products. What is the main product focus for these companies: Apple --- computers, operating system, MP3 players, cell phones? Mitsubishi --- vehicles, televisions, nuclear energy, insurance, plastic production, banking, seafood? Saab --- cars, airplanes, surveillance systems, communication devices? ...Honda, Proctor & Gamble, Sony, you could go on and on... For instance, Samsung is known here in the States for electronics of all kinds, from computers to major appliances to cameras to cell phones, but did you know that Samsung is also the world's second largest shipbuilder? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung Actually, in 1995, Casio made the first camera with a TFT display (what is commonly refered to as an LCD screen): "1995 The QV-10, the world's first digital camera that includes a TFT display, is released." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casio#Timeline_of_important_product_releases
  13. To add to my comment above... I went to BB years ago, just as they were opening a few years ago for some memory card deal and other small stuff. It took 2.5 hours to check out of the store!!! The lines looped through the store and it took forever. So, even if you are able to get your hands on the games you want, the time you waste in line will prevent you from being able to go to other stores.
  14. Well, law school interns would be donating their time to pad their resumes, so free workers is even better than minimum wage employees from corporate's POV.
  15. I wouldn't doubt it. Probably law school interns, actually. A company the size of Walmart has "in-house council" (lawyers who only work for Walmart as a full-time job) and just look for things to do.
  16. I wouldn't bother if it were me... Far too many people are going to be going for big ticket items that will simply pick up the WII games while they are there. If you show up 15 minutes before they open, I would think that it'll take 1/2 an hour for the other people in front of you to even get in the store (since you'll be at the end of the line), and by then the games will be long gone.
  17. The $179 netbook? Yes, by definition a netbook is a class of small low-power laptops with screens under 12" diagonally.
  18. A car care kit can easily be put together for far less than $100: Car wash concentrateVinyl cleaner (Armor All)Glass cleanerBug/tar removerA wash mitTire dressingWheel cleanerCar WaxWax applicator spongesSome microfiber towelsThe Absorber (brand) synthetic chamoisPut all of the items in a mik crate available from Walmart and other stores (so it all stays together and is ready to be carried outside). If the boys live at home yet then they could share a car care kit... http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Vehicles/CarWashr.gif
  19. You people all think so small... http://www.tourbikes.com/gs650.jpg A BMW F650GS, with luggage cases, and a nice fund to go touring w/o worrying about bills... ---- On a more down-to-earth level: a Nokia E75 cell phone, but I'll probably end up with it's cheaper cousin, the E63. And a dehydrator, so I can make some jerky. Mmmmmm, jerky! Nom, nom, nom! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Food/hungry.gif
  20. On Black Friday (and the next day), Best Buy will have the 8GB iPod Touch for $199.99 with a free $30 Best Buy gift card.

  23. Wouldn't a higher MP also allow the owner to crop a portion of a print to make nice-looking prints from. That's always been my understanding.... For instance... Take a photo with a 10x zoom 9MP camera and the same shot with a 7x zoom 12MP camera. Both extended to full zoom -- the 7x camera will obviously have a wider shot (not as close). With the 10x zoom 9MP camera, print the shot. With the 7x zoom 12MP camera, crop the photo down to the same shot that you took with the other camera, and print the shot to the same size... ----------------- I will also say that it doesn't matter what the MP is, it comes down to the optics of the lens and the image processor built into the camera. Some 3MP cameras can take sharper photos than 7MP cameras...
  24. Typically, door busters are not offered online (the ones offered for specific periods of time, such as 5 am - 11 am on BF).
