I found the Leap Frog Didj in pink only for 17.49 in two Target's in my area. It was not marked with any pricing sticker.

Wow! those were part of the summer clearance. They must have found them in the back.

Today, I found the following in the lingerie department:

Which store? Palm Beach Lakes or North Lake? That would take care of 2 of my presents if they still have any left in the morning :cheesy:

This may have already been mentioned.. Target has a display of Wii and Nintendo DS games for $14.99 each. The toy coupon book has a $10 off the purchase of 2 Wii or Nintendo DS games. At my local store they let me use this coupon on these discounted games bringing them to 9.99 each. Some of the titles were

Wii: Littlest pet shop, M&M's Beach party, Build a Bear, Speed Racer

Nintendo DS: Dora, Diego, Star Wars Lego, My Sims Kingdom, Barbie

Anyone have a copy of the official price adjustment policy? My local store is saying that it doesn't apply to Black Friday, but I would bet that the policy does NOT exclude it.

My store just seems to be stingy....things ALWAYS get marked down after everyone else, when they did the buy 2 get one free Wii games they wouldn't allow me to use it on clearance (another location had NO problem with it), and this is the one where the employee refused to tell me if the tv was being marked down and then I busted her and the rest of the markdown team loading up their own carts with tvs and checking out. It is really frustrating. I spend A LOT of time and money there and it sucks to have to feel like I am doing something wrong by shopping their clearance.

Only infant jeans on clearance were still $9.xx, nothing besides baby in clearance. Overall, a bummer of a trip.

Has anyone else heard this? I just went this morning to pick up a few things to have price adjusted for the 2-day sale. I always thought as long as you made it back into the store at some point during the time the items are marked down for the 2 day sale, you could have the price adjusted... isn't that right or is this something that has changed too!?

I am not a wake-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night-to-stand-in-line kind of person, so I guess if they won't price adjust for me, then I'll have to return it all!

there's a whole thread regarding price adjustments in the Target Black Friday forum.

from what I can gather - even though corporate has one policy - the store manager is the one you have to deal with and he/she can either adhere to the corporate policy or set his own. Now that might not be right - but that's how it will end up.

I spoke with one store and also Target Corporate with documented reference # in case of any issues and they both stated that Target will Price Adjust items you had purchase this week or the week prior, if it is cheaper on Black Friday or Friday & Saturday sales. The computer system will automatically allow the procedure if it deems it acceptable within their price adjustment period. I as also advised to please call them if there were any problems with this. Now I am unsure if this will also apply to doorbuster sales or not. HTH!

Thank you all. Sounds like my store is just being tight again. I think it is time to drive further for a better store!

I have the 800 number in my cell phone, and would advise it. They should work Friday, and they will call the store management.

Just a depressing note on the upcoming January toy clearance. Has anyone noticed that Target has not back-stocked enough to need to use the risers in the stores? Usually they add a shelf above the regular toy shelves and stack them high and deep with extra stock. No risers this year. At least not in any of our stores. They put them in for a week or so, but they were told to pull them as they would not need them....

Yes they will be open on Friday and if you get someone from overseas, ask them to transfer you over to the US Corporate office. The specialist you end up talking to can call the store immediately and advise how best to resolve any problems you may have.

According to Corporate, they had decided on the price adjustment policy earlier today after the ad was released to the public so not all stores had been notifed yet perhaps. Happy Thanksgiving everyone and good luck finding great deals BF!
