kgoeke
I did NOT time this pregnancy well! Sigh! Looks like online shopping it'll be! Edited September 23, 2008 by freesia39 clarified title
racerfan
Think positive, you may already have had the baby and be doing online shopping and gy 1st dibs because you are up feeding the baby. That way you will get everything you want:D Thinking negative you will be giving birth and cannot even do online shopping. Good luck and congrats and I hope everything goes easy for you. kgoeke
OMG, can you imagine if I were delivering during that time?! DH will think I'm insane to insist on having the laptop in the delivery room so that I can get my bargains! Then again, he's met me. He probably won't be surprised. ;-)
cassgurlie04
Online shopping will be the way to go, and if your at the hospital bring your laptop lol. I WOULD:D
Yakyma
The laptop would be the first thing in the hospital bag...what better way to keep your mind off of the contractions!!! Good Luck with the new baby and your BF shopping.

hbopper
You are not the only one due around Black Friday. A friend of mine is due on Nov. 28 and her husband is one of i think four or five employees at Big Lots. Last I had heard they were looking to hire maybe one new person. arci122
Absolutely as long as you are not really stressed. If you're going to have a good time and are not added any undo stress, go ahead. Just remember to rest when the mad rush of people are over.
amberjobryant
I would go, as long as I wasn't on bed rest or in labor.......who knows you could end the day at the hospital in labor (all that walking!) and get your deals and your baby all in one day!! except then you have future b-day parties to worry about.......... amez74
I would shop if it was me and I felt up to it. Heck I was riding my bike and pullling the other two in a trailer at 40 weeks!! And if you do go into labor --you will have a great memory and story to tell your child in the future!!

dbaby4ever
LOL! Maybe you could use the old trick "My water just broke!" Maybe people would let you cut line so you can pay and get out quick! Of course, this is BF & I haven't really seen too many "nice" people out so early. dramaqueen72500
I was in your place last year! I was 38 weeks pregnant on BF 2007. I still went on shopping as normal...but just a warning, no one was "extra nice" because I was preg. In fact, I think some people were a little rude beacause they thought I was crazy to be BF shopping.
Kandy
At that point, if you have not had your baby I would do online shopping. JMO
KrystalMae1231
Sure!! My sister had her baby on Thursday (Thanksgiving) and was out of the hosp, shopping on Friday!!! ORRRRRR Have the Doc induce the week before so you can go shopping. They pushed my sis out a day early so she could go. Worth a shot......... I think I would still shop in labor. Depending on how far along I was :) Good Luck! Hope you have a beautiful labor and can get back in the lines come BF.

krstee
I was in your place last year - I was due the Saturday (the day after BF). I still did go out - but not as early, and didn't hit the stores as much as I had the years before. I did, however, shop online before I went out just to make sure I wouldn't miss out. I was able to get a bunch of deals at Staples before I headed out to shop. Good luck!!!!
chassdance
Of course you can still shop!! I did it 2 years ago. My friend would drop me off at the door and then brave the parking lot! What a friend right!! If you do happen to go into labor, I'm sure with all the die hards, there will be one OB-GYN somewhere:D
deelite
Push! "Click" Push! "Click" That made me...lol!!! No way you will be shopping and 40 weeks. I bet you will probably already have the baby by then...GL!!
smga1
I will be 36 weeks at BF and on part time bed rest. The last time I was pregnant I was 36 weeks at BF. I online shopped and hit Target and Toys r us a little later in the day.
shelleee
take the stroller with you so that you can put the bags in it.
babygirl913
I think it's possible. I would suggest going a little later to avoid the crazy crowd of people rushing through store doors when they open. Don't think risking getting injured in that crowd is a good idea;)

mamaturtle
I went last year at 38 weeks. It wasn't too bad for me because I went with my husband. We went early to Walmart, and didn't even have to wait in line. Then at the other stores, he would get in line after we picked out our stuff and I would find somewhere to sit. I was pretty achy at the end, but walking is good for you, it gets things moving. Good luck!
ToastyOasty
I went shopping on BF when I was 8 1/2 months and it wasn't the best idea. I was fine until I was in line in a toy store squashed between a bunch of people. I got really hot and irritated lol but...alot of people were really nice and let me get my item ( a glow worm. yes i stood in frekin line for a glow worm) and get out. I probably wouldnt do it again. Lady Aryn
Personally, would definitely NOT go shopping @ all. It would put alot of physical strain on one's body, which frankly already has enough strain. Put your feet up, you deserve it. NO "BARGAIN" is worth your Health and/or YOUR baby's Health.. Cheeres.. And most importantly!! CONGRATS about the baby!!!!
vonnyb
I was pregnant last year on BF and It was not to bad, the biggest problem for me was standing for long periods of time. So I was able to get mom and friends to stand in line for me. Just make sure you have someone with you that can help you out. Also I was not as far along as you will be, so just see how you feel. Good Luck
