  1. Titusville, FL to start with, then over to Orlando, FL.
  2. I will be starting out in Titusville, then head to Merritt Island, from there we ususally go to Orlando, FL to finish up.
  3. Hoping you have a speedy recovery...don't worry about the rest of the stuff...just focus on getting well.
  4. I'll sleep if I take my tylenol pm now....that may be the only way now that you have made me think about not being able to sleep...LOL
  5. OK...am I the only one who is wondering why in the middle of the work week would they do this at midnight??? I have to get up at 4:40 a.m. and if I did stay up and catch the ad at midnight...I would be way too keyed up to go to sleep right away...so thinking I will set the alarm a few minutes earlier...try to hit the bed a few minutes earlier and see it in the morning....bummed about not catching it right away, but being alert at work is a must...oh well, work does provide me the means to feed the Black Friday habit...LOL
  6. It is the official kick off of the Christmas Season for our family and a major Holiday Tradition at our house...that is the best thing about Black Friday...the planning, plotting, anticipation just adds to the excitement of the season.
  7. Love the tee shirt...that is cute...I knew if anyone would be able to find one this group would...erose630 the lone-star pink on ebay would be great, just not sure it will arrive in time for Christmas...I will go and check out etsy, forgot about checking there. Thanks for everyones help, if you find something pleas post...lol who knew finding a pink fire truck would be difficult...she really thought there was a barbie one out there somewhere that would be easy to find.
  8. I have a friend who has a little girl 3 years old, who knows Santa is bringing her a pink toy Fire Truck....does anyone have any idea where we might find one? We have thought about getting one and painting it...but really hoping to find one already professionaly done. Thanks for the help. :)
  9. There were no 149.00 Kitchen Aides, no girls pj's for 4.00, no 5.00 Barbies, and none of the 9.97 Belgian Waffle Makers. We had people in our group looking for all of those items. Their answer was either they were lost in the back or they didn't come in.
  10. I forgot to put my extra 20% off coupon from The Childrens Place in my purse...got to the store and one of the employees asked if I was finding everything and gave me the 30% off coupon they were handing out, she says now the 20% you got in the mail you can use also and save even more...told her that I had forgotten mine. About 10 minutes later she came up and gave me one, someone had given her...it was such a pleasant suprise after I checked out and they give that one back to me I found that same employee and gave it to her to share with someone else that day as I had one at home.
  11. I got up at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, met one of my dd at Sears before 7:00, that was a total bust, she posted on here earlier...One of the items I was buying was jacket for grandson, they only one in his size and they had a hard time getting the security tag off of the jacket...after waiting for 15 plus minutes, they came back with it and said we got it off and the salesclerk grabbed it to ring it up, I said wait a minute, let me check the sleeve, glad I did there was ink all over it...told them I was no longer interested in the jacket...lol. We then met up with my other dd and we hit the Walgreens, I did manage to find some good deals there, found a few toys that were 50% off for the grandkids, pciked up a TeaCup Piggy, grabbed a few of the as seen on tv deals, 2 big cupcake pans and 4 of the Fushigi Balls got those for the grands and a couple of the adults (boys and their toys)....they were buy one get one. A few other little things for stocking stuffers. Thurs. night at WalMart around 9:00, not long after we arrived noticed people with items for the 12:01 sale in their carts already, a manager happen to be walking by and we asked him about it, he said as long as we didn't try to check out before midnight, he didn't care...OK off we go through the store looking for what we wanted...only to find out that some of the employees had been told by other managers not to let anything go before 12, so we got some of the items picked up pjs, sleep pants, jeans, the little chopper, a couple sets of the 500 thread count sheets, the crayola coloring sets, a few other toys that were not on sale, but on the grands list...picked up some other stocking stuffers, the dvd's and games were the last things to grab, managed a handful of the dvds for 1.96 which will be great stocking stuffers. Some items were never found or arrived they were not sure, girls pjs, 5.00 Barbies, the 149.00 Kitchen Aide that someone from my group was looking for all, as well as one of my dd was wanting the girls pjs and barbie... Out in the car by 12:30 and off to target, we were a little further in line, but had Son In Law as well as my other half there at 10:00 the night before...they were around 12th in line...could not begin to quess how many were in line total just before the doors opened, our Target is in a large strip Mall, target, serveral smaller stores, a Marshalls, and a Petco all together, the line was from one end of the store to wrapped around the end of all the stores...and of course all the last minute wanna jump the line people, security out there and local Police to try and enforce no line jumpers. Ran in there got an x-box controller, a couple of games COD Black Ops and Need for Speed newest one, a few of the 79.00 GPS units, grabbed the 19.96 griddle, The 14.50 Air HOgs Helicopter, a 3.00 mixer that will have to surfice till I can go and really shop for one, since mine just quit...lol. As soon as Items were grabbed, had sent better half off to Lowes glad I did, ours decided to open at 5:00 instead of 6:00, can't mention what all was bought there, but got some good deals there...lol...ran home unloaded the cars, headed to Orlando, we split up, between us we hit Best Buy, The Childrens Place, Bath and Body, Bed Bath& beyond, grabbed breakfast headed home took a break and then oldest dd and I headed out shopping again, hit the mall Penney's, Sears, stopped at the Sprint store, and another Wal Mart to see what was left...picked up a few more 1.96 videos. I shopped online for a few things the last few days, Amazon, WalMart, Target... Oh and we went and bought the LG Steam Washer/Steam Dryer early at Home Depot. Some craziness, but all in all got most of my shopping done and saved a nice chunk of change doing so and time saved by knowing what was in the ads early and who was selling items early...Thanks GottaDeal.com... Now I need a shirt that says I Survived Another Year of Black Friday Shopping!!!
  12. We are heading there about 8:30, checking out where everthing will be located for the midnight sale and since there will be at least 5 or 6 of us there at that time, divide and grab, meet at designtated spot, swap out items and plan on being in the car by 12:30-12:40, right now no one is really needing to get anything at 5 a.m., since we did some on line shopping already...then crossing the street to Target....we will be a little farther back in line, but will have a few people already at the front for anything bigger that will go fast...
  13. I know I am one that tell people that they need to go to the back of the line, if I have stood in line for hours and then the person in front of me lets others in line, I am not happy and I have reported them to store personel...most stores will then make that person move out to the back of the line. I find it highly unfair that someone just show up at the last minute and cuts in front of others who have spent their time waiting, my time is just as valuable as theirs is. If they really are there to help carry an item, then they should have no problem going to end of the line and meeting up with their party once inside. Not to mention that there are so many crazy people out now, that I would think one might be taking a big chance at getting hurt or worse.
  14. Glad you got the set too...I can't wait either...talked to someone else who has a steam washer/dryer and they love it. The graphite is a neat color too, can't believe I am this excited to do laundry...lol. Not having to take the time on BF is an added plus for sure. we'll have to come back and see how we all like this washer/dryer set...Have fun shopping on BF!
  15. My sister who lives in Indiana, but happen to be over in Florence, KY today, got a phone call from one of my other sisters today. The Kentucky Enquier put all the Black Friday ads in today's newspaper. She of course had to call and brag that she now had the actual ads in her hot little hands, but I reminded her that I had seen all the ads first...LOL If you live in the Florence, Hebron area find a paper and look for the ads.
  16. LOL...deliver on BF...that would not be good at all...mine will go in the laundry room, not many see them, other half wanted that color makes no difference to me, all I care about is washing the clothes... Thanks again for your help! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and a great BF shopping trip!
  17. Thanks, we went there today after a Christmas arts & craft show....it will be delivered on Dec. 3, we could have gotten it a few days earlier, but someone will be home on the 3rd, so makes it easier for delivery for us. We splurged and went with the graphite color, plus they took a little off of the pedestals too, so that balanced out the color upgrade. I can't wait for it to arrive, and since it says while supplies last even happier that I know I got mine...Have a great weekend!
  18. Well, I think they are crazy, but hey if they have nothing better to do and that is the way they want to spend the next week plus, go for it. The part about holding spaces for a total of 10 people is wrong, if they are not there for the better part of that time, they should no way, no how be allowed to get in line. I blame BB for allowing that to happen, if you are there camping to be first then it should be the ones that are there camping. I can see how this could create some major problems as it closer to opening time. People are crazy and you never know what will set someone off...the next headlines from that spot could be BB campers shot while holding spots in line for BF. This is suppose to be fun and tradition.
  19. Thanks for the extra info on the warranty...those were the two sets I was looking at, and the 18 months intrest free was sounding real good to me. I have been very happy with Home Depot from the sales people to the delivery of other appliances, last year a refrigerator and a dishwasher. I am curious, if for some reason they decide to drop the price at Home Depot on BF and I have gone ahead and bought it before, do they do price adjustments?
  20. OK... was not going to look at the big appliances, but seeing some good deals on Steam Washing Machines and Steam Dryers. I really am looking at either Kenmore or LG brands, and was wondering if anyone on here has any opinions on them especially if you own a set. Thanks for all you help.
  21. Yes, Thank You Brad for the ad scan...I know I am one that truly appreciates the scans...I have it saved.

  23. I enjoyed the webcast last night, I had to miss the test one due to previous engagement. Like the others we should pretty much have all the ads and lots to talk about...lol. Thanks so much to all the mods and bigjim for all your help and taking your time to do this.
  24. They have plenty of help there and last year was the first year I made Target my first stop....I am sure there will be someone to place it in the cart for you and when you check out they will get someone to load it in the car for you. I didn't buy anything that big last year, but at all the hot items, large and small they had employees who helped and put things in the carts...I bought several of the 600 thread count sheets last year and the lady stationed there was getting them off the shelf for me and putting in my cart...I was very impressed with the employees at Target last year. Good luck hope you get your tv.
