Against it. All of that stuff will be in the stores on Friday like it used to be. The people who work in the stores should get to enjoy their holiday. I'm all for taking it back to the good old days of Black Friday.

The premium outlets in my area are opening at 6PM on Thanksgiving day. I wish they could bring some of those laws to my state. They same items will be available in the stores on Friday. I don't get the opening times that get earlier and earlier each year. These early openings have killed the tradition of Black Friday really. I miss the days when Black Friday actually started on Friday around 4 to 5 AM Oh well if people would boycott going at these earlier start times they would get it. But hey some people will be out there so why would they change...

Not at all. The 4 to 5 am opening was the best! People could enjoy their holiday and have time to take a little nap and get up ready to go. I really wish they would take it back to those opening times. Wishful thinking I know. Oh well, l this nurse will be working on the night shift on thanksgiving so ill be online shopping from work

I noticed target and biglots had stuff out. I don't think its much different. As long as I can remember stores started putting stuff out in September. Seems about right though since Sept is over in a few days

I haven't bought one single thing! I don't even know if Ill be working or not on black friday yet. Gonna try to find out this week. Can't believe less than twenty something days left

I've never camped out. I'm praying I get off this day. If I'm off and can go out, I plan to get on the road around 3:30

I don't think I have the patience to try it. I hear the interstate is usually backed up for miles going towards the outlet near me, and parking I hear is a nightmare, as well as lines inside stores. Ive heard certain stores have actually had to close their doors to get a handle on the crowds:eyepoppin:

Just got mines. Had to go to three different places to get one.

I think worse. Unfortunately the economy is still not where it needs to be.

I don't know if I will be scheduled for work yet. I do still have time to request off. But really I work evenings/night anyway so even if they do schedule me I can still go out in the morning if I wanted to.

Ditto. Same here. I didn't renew my costco membership after it ran out at the end of last year. After doing the math it just wasn't cost effective. I found that some items weren't really a bargain. Doing the math showed me that a bigger pakage doesn't always mean a better bargain. I also found that I was doing better using manufacturers coupons in regular stores. I save a lot too when some grocery stores double and triple coupons. Target has a section with bulk items. When I use coupons on those items when they go on sale I come out way better than costco. For a small family I don't think it's worth it. I doubt that I broke even on the membership fee in savings in the one year. And last but not least the Costco's in my area are a big hassle more than anything. No matter what time of the day you go in there it is overcrowded and like a zoo. Forget about even trying to go in their on weekends. The line to the gas station is always out of this world. I decided that it really was not worth the hassle at all.

Exactly. People are getting ridiculous now and are taking this thing too far. I remember when 11PM on Thanksgiving night was considered "early" to line up at the stores. I love black friday too but I'm not missing valuable out time with family and friends to stand in line

Thank you. It's not like the camcorder was like a bag of chips or something were one wouldn't notice an extra few dollars not on thier total. How could one not notice that the cashier did not ring up a camcorder:confused: And yes the OP should go back and pay for it.
