Anything for 15 year old son that isnt so expensive?

Recommended Posts

My son is 15 years old. He asked for an Ipod nano and a PSP. I got him both of those. I cant afford to get him a lot more but my 8 year old little girl is gonna wonder why she got stuff from santa and all he got was 2 gifts under the tree. Any ideas on some things I can get my son to set out from Santa that isnt gonna cost an arm and a leg. She is sooo easy to by for I am completely done with her but just cant find anything for him. He said no DVD's or CD's because I dont have good taste in movies or music lol!:smirk: Thanks in advance for any ideas. :cheesy:

get a few $5 gift cards and wrap them in boxes! That is what I would do! Itunes gift cards, EB games gift cards, McDonalds or burger King, what ever he would be likely to use, walmart and target are good too.

Put them in shirt boxes and wrap up...at least it would look like he got a few more gifts!

What about a month pre-paid of a 'net-flix' type thing that does video games?

do they sell t-shirts with his school on it? I know that there are always t-shirts for sale in the school office where my daughter goes for $10...

If you already bought him a PSP and an iPod Nano and you're only looking to add to his gifts so it looks as if Santa brought something, why not leave one of those out from Santa? He knows the deal. I would not keep buying just to keep up an appearance. I'm in a similar position - my boys are 18 and 6. Santa leaves one gift for each of them plus their stocking and the rest is wrapped up. I don't spend the same amount on my kids or worry about who gets the most. I get them the things they want (within reason!) and leave it at that.

What about an accessory for the IPOD or PSP? I needed some little gifts for my younger son and one of the things that I got him was a set of covers for his shuffle. There are (I think). 6 in the set and they were around $16.00 at Walmart. But they have all kinds and some are less expensive.

Or like some of the others suggested. a baseball cap, (if he wears hats) or some clearance tshirts from AE, Gap, Aero, etc.

Something I always got my oldest son as extra gifts was funky boxers. I stopped when he was about 20 and got together seriously with his girlfriend.

skins for the psp, case for the ipod the make many types all with their own style, extra earbuds is a must the ones that come with it are horrible, fall out, recommend the in ear ones. best buy has jvc gummy ones for under 10 bucks, don't know how these are though as I havethe sony ones....they look similar though

I've said it in other places, but I have a 14yr old and 15yr old boy. I had to get some little things as well to make one equal the other box wise. I got things like Axe and Tag gift sets, they were under $10 each and on sale. Krispy Kreme instead of Dunkin Donuts here. I picked up very nice pierre cardin pen sets at Big Lots for $5. Also, itunes cards and extra earphones is a good thing. Also picked up very cheap at WM a car charger and an ac charger for my ds ipod. He has the video one and the other ones were cheaper yet. Maybe a case for the ipod? Just thoughts from another mother who seems to be surrounded by testosterone lately.

How about something that he can use to play his iPod at home? Maybe the iPod dock that comes with a small set of speakers?

My 15 year old nephew is happy with GCs from Best Buy each year-that way he can pick what he wants.

Or what about movie tickets? The Pirates of the Caribbean DVD is a great idea too!
