I think it is nice that parents do go out of their way to make their children's wishes come true. I have been lucky to have scored 3 online. I tried that checking store thing for 2 hrs one day and I was done. I wish all that haven't gotten one yet, good luck.

Not always true. My son's 360 went bad after having it for 6 months. And the warrenty was only for 90 days. I got the warrenty for the Wii just in case.

I was very proud of them. They were at the front of the line.

My son went with his friends early this morning to TRU. All 4 of them got tickets. His best friends mom also went to Target. She got one there and called her son. So my son and his friends went to the back of the line and gave people their tickets. There were 4 happy people.

why did they cancel it?

I agree, giftcards are the best. I get them for my kids(both teenagers) and they love them.

My son was actually playing the first Xbox last night with his friends. I had to send his 360 in for repairs because it kept freezing. My son LOVES Halo too. I haven't let him play the wii yet, that is a Christmas thing.

I think they do it on purpose because they know people/kids will continue to want the new thing.

I got them both from TRU.

I don't do the stand in line thing. I don't have patience like that. I talked to 3 managers on the phone and that was enough for me to decide to look online until I found one. I looked online for 3 days and got one for my son. Then looked again for another day and scored another one for a friend. Much easier than standing in line.

I heard it from managers. And your best bet is to be there atleast a hour before they open, especially if there aren't that many stores around.

Both of my wii's have been shipped. Got the tracking numbers today. Doing my happy dance....

I don't shop at Walmart much. I think I have been there 3 times in the last 3 yrs. And there are plenty near me.

My son is a big sports fan too, so 360 was the best choice for him. He has all his friends over all the time.

My son loves the 360. He said he didn't want the PS3. He did want the Wii though.

Supposely Walmart next week. Best Buy on Sunday. Target on Sunday. Good Luck!!!

I wish you luck in finding just a console. I just ordered another bundle for a friend of mine at Gamestop.

I ordered mine today from TRU. I received an email with my order number. I also received an email with detail order info and telling me where to track my purchase at. Tracker never had it showing up.

I felt that way at first, but after refreshing for a total of 2.5 hrs it got old fast. In the end you will spend that much if you buy the games. Most of the games are 49.99 each. I did the bundle deal with the 360 too. And my son loves it and now he will have his wii. He didn't want the PS3.
