I made these for the bakers in my family one year. I got a bunch of vanilla beans on line from Beanilla. Vanilla Sugar 1 vanilla bean, whole or scraped 2 cups granulated sugar If vanilla bean is whole, slice down side of bean with back of knife and scrape seeds into airtight container with the sugar. Bury bean in sugar and seal tightly with lid. Let sit for 1 to 2 weeks. Use as regular, granulated sugar. Vanilla Extract 1 vanilla bean 1 mini bottle vodka (can also use bourbon or rum) Split the vanilla bean lengthwise. Remove a bit of booze from the bottle, and stuff both halves of the vanilla bean into the bottle. Close the lid and let the vanilla bean steep for at least one week. Like most things, vanilla extract gets better with age, so make a few bottles!

I've hosted 14 parties from 2008-2010. Since then - 0. I'm really getting frustrated and probably going to quit. It isn't worth my time anymore.

They are similar to the ones in the shoe dept. I popped in to get some mens jeans the other day and noticed them in the mens dept., but didn't have time to check out the rest of the store. I guess I will have to check and see if the other Kohls in the area are doing it also. If they are, this will suck for my Wednesday Kohls night.

I noticed that my local Kohls had switched to electronic price tags. The employee there said it was so they could automatically switch prices for sales events, especially during the holidays. That got me wondering if the shopping on Wednesday before Black Friday "deals" were not going to happen this year as they no longer need employees to switch the prices on Wednesday evening. Does anyone have any inside info on this? Do they have electronic price tags in all stores now?

I got one from the Arnold one, but couldn't find them anywhere else in the area.
