  1. Any info on where the Sunbeam heated throws/twin blankets are going to be? My kids both want one for their beds!
  2. Yeah, I remember being up at 3am to get the Animal Crossing bundle for Wii. LOL I just thought that their deals were advertised a little sooner than Thanksgiving. Thanks, Brad...I knew you'd know!
  3. Me too! I've got my $100 promo credit from the XBOX360 deal and I am hoping that there will be a $99 netbook for my 8 year old so he will quit hijacking my laptop. :) Anyone know when Amazon's Black Friday deals were leaked/posted last year? I searched but could not find info on that. C'mon Amazon!
  4. Transfer money from your checking account over to your PayPal account, then use your PayPal debit card to make all of your purchases on BF. :) No fees and no hassle.
  5. Got in touch with Newegg via Chat. They said that the money will be in my PayPal account by the end of the day. I assume that means by midnight. I saved a copy of the chat just in case!
  6. Haven't gotten mine yet. Starting to worry a little bit! I emailed CS at Newegg to see what's up.
  7. Me too! My son REALLY wants City Folk for Christmas. I am so glad that I didn't buy it already. I guess I will be getting up VERY early on Black Friday (2am CST to get in on Amazon's sale). I have it in my cart ready to check out!
  8. My son has the Jump Smart trampoline (we got it from target.com last year for Christmas). He absolutely LOVES it. He gets on it every morning before school to exercise. The music is a little bit loud, and there is no volume control, LOL. It plays music or counts when you jump. I remember it being a little bit hard to put together, but it was well worth the money we paid for it. My son was 6 when we bought it, but all of my nieces and nephews (and all of my son's friends) who come over are immediately attracted to the trampoline. Definitely a good investment, IMO, and very stable so you don't really worry about them getting hurt too much.
  9. They sent me another one this morning, so I PM'd it to you. :)
  10. I have a F&F code if anyone's interested. I ended up getting two, and I've already used the one I'm going to use!
  11. I'd like to know this too. We need to order a ham for when the in-laws come at Thanksgiving. Anyone know?
  12. Hey! We're going on a 7 night Disney Cruise this October! We went on a 3 night one a couple of years ago and loved it. I guess I'm going to look on eBay for our "formal" clothes. I don't really want to spend a lot on stuff we'll wear only once.
  13. I quit buying stuff from TRU because of their return policy. My kids got a bunch of junk from my in-laws for Christmas, stuff that actually said "Geoffrey" and/or "Exclusively Marketed for Toys R Us" on the back of the boxes, and Toys R Us WOULD NOT return the stuff, even for store credit. We didn't ask for gift receipts from the in-laws because we didn't want to offend them (and besides, you don't just TELL people you don't like their gift!!). Anyway, when we went to TRU, they told us we'd have to fill out this form in order to return the stuff. On the form, they wanted us to fill in the purchaser's name, address and phone number, as well as the type of payment used to buy the item. If a credit card was used, they wanted to know the credit card number and type of card. If a checking account was used, they wanted to know the account number. Then, the form asked which store it was purchased at and on what date. WHO THE HECK knows all of this information when they are trying to return a gift? I have NO idea if my SIL used a credit card, what store she purchased at, or any of that information. It's just ridiculous to expect that when my kids get a gift they don't like that I'd even CONSIDER asking a relative for their account number so that I can return it. Needless to say, we did not have all of this information to return the TRU junk, so my kids basically did not get anything from my DH's side of the family. I called TRU's corporate office and they were no help. I just don't understand why they couldn't at least give an in-store credit. I would've been happy to let my kids exchange what they didn't want for something that they wanted. I have told this story to all of (my side) of the family as well as friends. I am boycotting TRU and have asked that no one purchase things for my kids from TRU because of their policy. **end of rant**
  14. My husband says that the reason they did so good this year is because of me, LOL!
  15. The globe is now gone too. I added it to my wishlist-maybe it will come back in!
  16. I just emailed them to cancel, and I got a confirmation email back from them today stating that my account is now cancelled. No trouble at all!!
  17. So if I cancel I have to send the coffee maker back? I wanted to keep my $10 deal but not get anything else.
  18. OMG! I finally got mine too, but thankfully I only got charged the $10.89 I agreed to!
  19. I received my order today-wow that was quick! Anyone know if there is a way to cancel on their website, or do I have to call? I was just interested in the $10 deal, and I don't want further shipments. TiA!
  20. I'm looking for this game too, so thanks for the buy.com info!
  21. I've not tried the warm parkas by Columbia, but I have a Columbia windbreaker-it runs true to size. I wish they had one of these parkas in another size besides Large.
  22. We've done a scavenger hunt before. Instead of wrapping the gift card, wrap a clue. Then, the person uses that clue to find the next clue. After about 3 clues, the gift card is found. This may not work if you are doing multiple cards, but it was fun at our house!
