The National Weather Service (NWS) has now posted the Thanksgiving Day and Thanksgiving Night forecasts.

You can access them by going to http://www.weather.gov/

At the top left hand corner you can type in your zip or city and the forecast for your area will come up. Or you can click on the map in the middle of the page.

Each weather service office updates the forecasts every 4 hours or so during non severe weather period so bookmarking the site might be helpful.

The NWS is the lead and official forecasting agency for the US and provides forecasts to weather channel and other outlets.

I hope this helps and hope the weather is good in your area!

Thank you very much. This will be very helpful.

This'll be my first BF and I plan to wait outside Best Buy overnight. So I was a little bit worried about what to expect with the weather. So far it looks to be a little cold, but there'll be no rain. As long as there won’t be any rain, I'll be OK.

I'll be sure to check that again as we get closer to the big day.

Thanks again. :)

Karma smacking me up side the head for rubbing it in that I was wearing jeans, tshirt and flip flops in the "What are you wearing on BF?" thread.

...UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR TO AFFECT SOUTH FLORIDA THROUGH

THANKSGIVING...

A DEVELOPING STRONG LOW PRESSURE AREA OFF THE NORTHEAST FLORIDA COAST

AND HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE CENTRAL UNITED STATES ARE COMBINING TO

FUNNEL COLDER AIR SOUTHWARD ACROSS FLORIDA THIS AFTERNOON. THE COLD

AIR WILL REMAIN IN PLACE OVER SOUTH FLORIDA THROUGH THANKSGIVING

MORNING...WITH TEMPERATURES EXPECTED TO AVERAGE FROM 15 TO AS MUCH AS

20 DEGREES BELOW SEASONAL NORMALS.

HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON HAVE ONLY REACHED THE LOWER AND MID

60S ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA...SETTING THE STAGE FOR A CHILLY NIGHT

TONIGHT AS THE COLD AIR WILL CONTINUE TO FILTER DOWN THE FLORIDA

PENINSULA. LOW TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO DIP TO AROUND THE 40

DEGREE MARK OVER INTERIOR AREAS AROUND LAKE OKEECHOBEE AND THE MID TO

UPPER 40S ELSEWHERE INCLUDING THE METROPOLITAN AREAS OF BOTH COASTS.

NORTHWEST WINDS OF 10 MPH WILL PRODUCE WIND CHILL VALUES FROM THE

UPPER 30S TO THE MID 40S.

Still gonna wear jeans and a tshirt. Just might have to rethink the flip flops. LOL

I found the National Weather Service on line several years ago after getting fed up with the Weather Channel site's pop-ups and excessive ads. Even after eventually installing ad and pop-up blockers I stayed with NWS because they are generally more accurate and updated more frequently.

The forecast for Thanksgiving/BF is looking good. Low of 43 Thursday night, high around 66 on Friday.

Tonight is a different story... a chance of snow showers before 1 AM with no accumulation. It usually doesn't snow here until after Christmas.
