Last year as BB's Thanksgiving deals came on-line they had a $100 itunes with digital delivery gift card for $60 that was supposed to be $80. BB eventually realized this and shut it down. If anyone who had bought one at $60 received the email with the redemption code then they where allowed to keep it. Many others who had not received the redemption code before BB realized the issue where sent cancellation emails from BB & told they could repurchase it for $80. I do not think that was right of BB.

Forget Black Friday, it is rapidly becoming Black Thursday. What happened to everything but the gas station being closed on Thanksgiving. All the people who work in retail for Black Friday no longer get to enjoy their Thanksgiving. Such a shame. You used get the paper with all the ads on Thursday and spend all day planning for Black Friday but long gone are those days. After spending all day Thanksgiving cooking an entertaining I am ready for bed at 8pm for a few hours of sleep before waking in the middle of the night to go get in line for the 5am-6am store openings. Now you do not even get time to digest your Thanksgiving meal before having to rush out the door at 6pm for the 8pm opening!! To me the earlier and earlier store openings are ruining my Black Friday tradition. I miss the old Black Friday's. Personally I blame K-mart 1st (For being open on Thanksgiving) & Wal-Mart 2nd (For the earlier & earlier doorbuster times) for my Black Friday being ruined.

I had to try about 10 times before I was able to place my order. What a mess......

I purchased the itunes gift card last night as well and after reading these post about the orders being cancelled I assumed mine had as well. It was meant to be a Christmas present for my boyfriend so I had not even bothered to check my email today. In a panic I told my boyfriend to try and redeem the code to see if it would work and it did. I see now that if you were sent the code then your order was not going to be cancelled. Oh well, he got an early Christmas Present.

I tried again just to see if it would work and it did. I too am trying to fight the temptation to buy one more. lol

I always have the ad's with me. I am not sure I would be able to keep track of a list. Between the ad's and receipts I would most likely leave a list somewhere, I just wouldn't know where. I mark the items I want in the actual ad's and this way I make sure I get the right item at the right price!

I use a small back pack that cinches at the top. It keeps my hands free and money, credit cards, etc. safe. It is also just big enough to hold ads, phone and keys. After each store I remove that stores ad and receipts and load up for the next store. I am always worried that anything I put in my pockets could fall out whether it is me trying to dig something out or just falling out in the shopping madness. I certainly do not want to lug a purse around.

I am so against midnight openings. Forget Black Friday, now it is going to be Black Thursday. And so much for Thanksgiving. For me it almost ruins Black Friday. I have been Black Friday shopping for 15 years and this is the most disheartening thing that has ever happened in all my years of BF shopping.

My DD10 has been wanting a laptop-she has slowly been taking over mine-so I saw this & thought"Perfect" and scooped 1 up!! I found this same model on Amazon for $350! Great deal in my eyes!!!!

My favorite thing about Black Friday is all the amazing deals!!!! I love shopping and when I can get awesome deal's it makes it that much sweeter!!!!!!

My 8 year old loves my MacBook Pro and wants one of her own. Since that is not going to happen I am looking to get her a netbook instead. Anyone know what is the best one for a child to play online games on??? Thanks for any input.

While the bird cooks, we plan our attack!! We always have atleast 2 papers to make sure we aren't missing any ads. We list all the stores by opening time then we list out what we are getting at each store, that way we are in and out of each store on BF. There is no room for error when it comes to timing to get to the next store just as it opens. This is by far the day I plan for most all year long!!!

I agree 100%!! I also wonder if CNN is getting the same warm, loving letter from WM lawyers that Gottadeal got.

I will be taking my Nissan Altima. Not a huge amount of space but I think it will be enough.
