It should be a good computer for him. Rather than upgrading ram, I would just downgrade from vista to either xp or server 03.

I'll probably get a 399$ sony or two. Throw in another 1gb ram and downgrade to server 03 and they should run nicely.

The bestbuy I go to had two porta-potties last year as well as coffee when it was close to opening.

well acording to the BB employee who took my 32" Westinghouse ticket last year it was unethical. That was after they told us in line that they didn't care if we resold them.

I got to BestBuy 5 hours earlier than last year and was behind where I was in line last year. It's really getting out of control.

I got moved back from number 26 to about number 75 in line. It really sucked as they had about 25 of ea laptop and desktop and I got neither.

Station a bestbuy employee there all night. Each person gets a ticket when they come and the BB employee signs off on them hourly so you have to stay there.

The store I attend usually has around 28 of each.

Wouldn't it make more sense just to discount them equally? Also this year it includes the cannon printer, returnable maybe?

Thursday night: Rain likely. Lows in the mid 30s to lower 40s. Oh well... My BestBuy has a covered area to stand under and a nice coat will take care of the temperature.

Yeah, last year people could take back the monitor to get their computer even cheaper.

I didn't know they shipped tv's when you purchased in store.

Last year I bought a desktop and after I got home I noticed they charged me $30 to optimize it. They some how "optimized" my computer without taking it out of the factory packaging... hmm. I went to the store and argued with "geek squad" and they would not give me a refund. I then sent the headquarters an email and recieved a check for $30 a couple weeks later.

Cops drove by my BB every 20-40 minutes last year.

There were two best buy employees in front of me last year. In their BestBuy clothes. I think they called in sick so they could stand in line instead. Probally helped as we had no line jumpers.

Supposively a printer (Cannon?) too.

It's a door buster, probally around 10. They aren't going to order it for you from the warehouse. They are ment to sell out in minutes.
