Deal Grabber
Seems kinda pointless when they give out free trail memberships to everyone.lol
chelamarc
This is awesome!...the prime early access deals are already in place under their lighting deals...
tinkrbel
I wonder if it's just for the primary prime member or not? If so, i might be out of luck this year.
jamieva
I like this. And a good way for Amazon to try to get some more Prime members. Smart move.
jaymacfla
I like this. And a good way for Amazon to try to get some more Prime members. Smart move.Others may view it as a selfish and greedy move, further alienating their customer base. Most, like another poster hinted will probably take the trial if offered and then cancel when Black Friday is over.

I wasnt too happy when they raised the price but my son uses his HD all the time.
jamieva
I have Prime and based on how much my wife buys the 2 day shipping makes it worth it when you add in the streaming content and 1 free e book a month from the lending library.

mcwalker
I have been holding off on signing up for a free trial of Prime, so maybe this will be the time to try it. (So I am glad they don't limit it to paying customers.)

Tanajudy
A few yrs ago I decided to upgrade my video camera & found the one I wanted on Amazon. The price on Black Friday was more than it was the wk before. Do ur research ahead of time & watch ur items.
Tigger97498
Is Black Friday for Amazon starting the first week of november like it normally does?
rockpzazz
Looks like I will have to sign up for a free trial in a couple weeks. I like Amazon, but I only buy stuff from the site around the holidays. Rarely do I buy any other time of the year. Though I must admit, I have less income than I used to so that could be a big reason.

peifgirl
woot! I love this. My prime membership pays for it self several times. Between the 2 day shipping, streaming movies, ebooks, etc. Hell it probably pays for itself in shipping just in November and December.

kdspark
Where do we see the deals 30min early? It shows no different when i am signed into Prime and when i am not?TIA
bluebear
Under the deal, it will say, starts for you at xxx time. Prime Early Access Deal. If it has already started, and is in the first 30 minutes, it will say under it Prime Early Access Deal. Not every deal starts early for Prime members though. kselzer
I'm loving all the stuff being added to Prime lately! I had considered not renewing my membership earlier this year, but I just use it way too much beyond the 2-day shipping benefit now.
misstaken
I noticed that there are quite a few deals that weren't early access. I wonder what the criteria for certain deals getting chosen for early access and others being all access are. Seems kind of random. Anyway, I'm not a big lightning deal buyer so this particular perk of membership probably isn't going to excite me much. All of the things I need from Amazon are super specific art supplies and of course, never really go on sale. Bummer.

Often it's for things I didn't know I needed until they show up and are on a good sale
