misshayley
The option I would choose isn't up there. I didn't buy any clothing for Christmas gifts. So my answer is 0%
mghtymth27
I don't like buying clothes for Christmas -- that's a necessity (unless the kids want $100 pair of shoes or something else outrageously priced!)
elena_398
Don't give clothing. Very rarely. Im sure when my son is a bit older (hes 11 now) I will. But right now the kids want toys and electronics. I overbought on school clothes so both my kids' closets are jam packed
stacimarie
I have bought one shirt and one pair of pants for my nephew, that is the only clothing I have bought. Everyone else gets something they wanted or I think they want.
gemini1217
After "santas" presents actaully put me overbudget...I had to find ways to have presents under the tree for the kids. Yes, everything that I got them is clothing (excluding two presents). My DS has already shook & pushed on his presents & he is mad! But, I think he will get over it once Santa shows up!!! Melissa
I don't give my children clothing as "gifts"; clothing is a necessity that is my responsibility to provide.

floridasun5
My dh hates to get clothes for Christmas so I dont buy him any, but my dd is a pre-teen and is starting to enjoy clothes, so I bought her just one outfit this year. So, less than 25% of the things I buy are clothes.
Gloey
I think Christmas should be toys so I give toys for Christmas. However, my gd's birthday was just on Monday and I gave her tons of clothes then, with a couple of toys too!
ebony0421
The kids and hubby get clothing first and then I buy other things that they've put on a list.
Guest Deals4Me
I dont buy clothing for anyone unless its something that they've shown me while we were out together. Hubby buys me clothing and I am never a real big fan of it.

josetann
Everytime I get clothes, it's something I either don't want, or in one case was something I already had (even then it was a shirt I had for a year or two, so I was ready to "move on"). I don't buy clothes as presents, I'd get the wrong look, or the wrong size, or most likely both. Just try to buy a woman a pair of jeans. If it's too small then they cry because they're huge. If it's too big then they yell because you think they're huge. If it's the right size they cry and yell because you know how huge they are (I do not agree with them, but that's just what'll happen unfortunately). Now jewelry, can't really go wrong there. Even if it's "crap", it's good crap.
WonderWmn999
I'd say 1 %. Bought my oldest daughter a shirt, a pair of jeans, and a football jersey and my son an ACDC sweatshirt. That's it for clothes. The younger two are getting toys, toys, toys
ryka
I got my mom, dad, grandmother, uncle, nephew and my daughter's father clothes.
MarkRaby
Heh...CG480 made a mistake by not including a 0 - 10% option in this poll. I also do not ever buy clothes for Christmas gifts. -Mark-
rgb
My daughter is seven and I will buy her like 2 maybe 3 outfits. Her father and I both believe when kids are young like that Christmas is a time for TOYS! I have alot of young nieces and nephews to buy for also....I buy them toys too unless I am specifically asked to get them clothes.
biomajor
I don't buy clothes for anyone but my mother. She's basically housebound--she only gets out for her Dr's appointments and occasionally bingo. She needs a scooter thing, but doesn't have one. I shop a lot, know what she needs/wants and buy it when I see it. I have 3 outfits and a jacket for her for Christmas with a lot of other things, but she's the only one I buy clothes for. Occasionally i buy clothes for my nieces, but only as an add on type present.
ShopperMom
I bought a couple clothing items, some pajamas for the kids and one outfit for my daughter, so I would say less than 10%, which isn't up there.
mitchandalisha
You never know what people will wear....if you have kids.....I can understand buying them clothes then, 'cause you are going to buy them anyway.
leigh53168
My dd's 5 & 8 love getting new clothes. They are very into skirts & dresses and love fancy nitegowns. So they get 5 or 6 outfits, boots and are each getting a new robe and 3 nightgowns. They get plenty of toys too, but clothes are gifts too. sheli
My boys look forward to clothes under the christmas tree. They get plenty of toy or electronic gifts too but they know clothes will be there too. It started when they were little, money was tight and we needed to fill in under the tree with practical things. So along came a warm blanket, a coat, mittens and hats, and a few new shirts and pants. Usually stuff I had found on clearance right after the school shopping died down. Now they expect the clothes. No Joke: My 12 yo ds said to me 2 days ago: "Mommy don't forget the socks and underwear for under the tree, I want the white kind." (yes he still calls me mommy...I love that kid!!! shopping mom
My kids have always appreciated new clothing. There have been many years when they have made do with thrift stores, yard sales and hand-me-downs, so Christmas was when they got something brand new. They are quick to let me know what they need around the holidays. I watch for bargins but if it is something I know they want I'll get it. Son number two is getting a leather jacket. I can't wait. He has wanted one for two years.
scrappynik
I must have strange children...they are very happy to recieve clothing for Christmas in addition to the many toys they receive. And since I work at Old Navy now and get a discount...lol! I got them each 4 pieces of clothing and got DH 4 as well. :)
Steakgoddess
I'd say about 10%. Just because of pj's and stuff for the kids.
