I love the day before, going through the ads, figuring out my game plan and route than the execution. Something about being in a swarm of people and all their excitement just gives me a natural high. Love it!

Ipod Touch is still in process, ordered at 6:30am EST, Harry Potter 8 in 1 DVD pack is backordered. HP wasn't ordered until much later. Bought all but the last one seperately at Kmart than saw this promotion. Not going to return the individual ones until I'm sure this will be coming, and than I might just give to someone else instead.

Bought the ipod touch with $50 gc from the luxury of my bed. Have been trying in 1/2 hour increments for HOURS! Woohoo!!

Just bought the ipod touch with $50 gc online! Woohoo! That was not an item I wanted to stand in line for, because, well, I love Black Friday, but I would have had to get in line soooo early for that one. Kudos for those that can do that though.

I am ticked off for you! That really does suck. And the lazy cop should be reported! I hope that the cameras got a good pic of the jerk. Got to love our tax dollars at work.

We were in line at Target and I went looking for a cart since the line looped throughout the store. Couldn't find one, but did find a carrier. When I found my dd, the woman behind us in line had put our bulky fire bowl under her cart so we wouldn't have to push it through the line. She also gave me something for my heartburn. At Toys R Us a happened to see a woman drop her drivers license while hurrying off. Got it and ran after her. If I hadn't seen that I'm sure they would have found it years later kicked under a shelf somewhere.

I will not even step foot into Best Buy until all my other shopping is done and I still want something that they have in stock for cheap that isn't online. Their checkout lines are nuts!

:gdthums:Thanks to the posters re libraries. I just ordered my free phone from Philadelphia, being a PA resident. I also checked more into my local library and after playing around for a bit I found that Bucks County Free Libraries have a lot of offerings too. I just didn't have the patience :eyepoppinbefore, but with my Nook ordered and on the way and everyone getting me all excited about the libraries, I decided to suck it up and check it out. So glad I did. I even got my coworkers all excited about it.

Once again GameStop is disappointing. Might go if the one by ToysRUs opens earlier like they did last year. Otherwise a big FAIL. Regular prices on a lot of items. Buying my games elsewhere. Lines also take sooooo long at GameStop. Only stayed in line last year because I was already done at ToysRUs and the husband was home asleep so he wasn't waiting up for me.

Target had this last year too and it counted towards the $100. It was a pain to locate in the store though.

Last year the Gamestop I went to right after midnight wasn't originally supposed to open until 5/6am but it was changed either earlier that day or the day before. They got a lot of walk in traffic from the store next to them that had opened at midnight.

Our Walmart has just started being remodeled into a Super Walmart. Half our parking is gone along with part of the store itself. Not looking forward to the Scavenger Hunt on BF. But that won't stop me from shopping!

So far I'm so/so about the ads. Still waiting on some stores before I can give a definite thumbs up or down. Target has a good ad. Toys R Us has some good deals, but not looking forward to the crowd. I usually don't go there because of the chaos in that store. The customers are usually great, it's the way the store does there lines that really stinks. You can't go directly from point A to point B anywhere on that day. If I do go on Thursday that might be a help since I don't have to worry about what I'd be missing at the other stores while standing in line.

I don't know of a current deal but Target occasionally offers free gift card with purchase. Also, check on Apple website if you don't mind a refurbished one.

So far all is well with my order. Have the tracking # for FedEx.

I was in Walmart Sat night and they still had a few deals from BF on the floor with the BF price.

I would like to get one for my husband. He works in NY and we live in PA, so he only comes home on his weekends. I'd like to surprise him with some family pics, and we can update it.

I sacrifice sleep. Luckily I asked for Black Friday off back in January, so I knew that I was going to get it off. There are only 4 of us where I work, and if one of the ladies can take the entire week of Christmas off I sure the heck could take BF off! I use it as my Personal Day, which comes out of my sick leave anyway. If I didn't have the day off, I would still go, but everyone at work would be sacrificing their sanity because I'd be an overtired, cranky, moody woman.

We usually watch The Christmas Story on Thanksgiving getting us ready for Christmas. We started a Christmas tradition a few years ago where we open presents, go out to eat at the Chinese Buffet than see a movie. Some people look at us weird, but I can't say how much more I enjoy the day since the stress is off of me to cook and clean up.
