Marcster Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 THX! No FAR CD-Rs though:(Were there any last year? I still have my FAR CD-Rs from TWO & THREE years ago!
BLKFRI Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I can't wait to see the scans. Its hard to have the actual prices (which don't seem that good) set in with out seeing the item. Since Boise Cascade bought em even their weekly sales haven't been that good. Last year I spent quite a bit there.

maccawolf Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 PcSoon, I agree with you. I am very disappointed in OM this year! Oh well, it looks like Worstbuy, Kompussr (and only one item in each), then home. Short day for me.
kfinto65 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I used to buy a lot at Officemax. I'm going to skip them this year. The nearest Officemax is 41 miles from me and I'm not driving that far for a 100 pack of DVD+R's for $11.99! Staples has better deals this year and the nearest one is only 19 miles from me.
BLKFRI Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 After the BIG disappointment with that (Office Max) ad I am re-thinking what I am buying and where I am going. Might just go to CompUSA at midnight for the projector, vid card, and all in one, and buy the Acer at Staples. This would cut out Best Buy all together. I don't need a TV and the LCD monitors arent that great a price. I still have about 300 blank DVD's left, and the Staples ones are a better buy anyhow.
Mommie2one Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 No one really has the DVD+R discs on sale without a rebate. I hate rebates!
kfinto65 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 No one really has the DVD+R discs on sale without a rebate. I hate rebates!I can't recall getting great deals on DVD+R's without rebates....
kfinto65 Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Were there any last year? I still have my FAR CD-Rs from TWO & THREE years ago!Same here. I have a lifetime supply of FAR and almost FAR CD-Rs!!! Now if only I could find that many DVD+Rs....
Marcster Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Same here. I have a lifetime supply of FAR and almost FAR CD-Rs!!! Now if only I could find that many DVD+Rs.... Personally, I don't have good luck with off-brand DVD+Rs or -Rs. They burn o.k., but when you go to play them a few months later.... issues (freezing, skipping, etc.). I just got 100 DVD+Rs from Staples for $24.94 (no rebates), so I'm set for a while.
sperdue Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 My advice as well. Stick with name brand dvd+rs. I have the same problem. Also, the cheap ones I've used get burn errors as they are finalizing and you have to toss them and start over.
scottk Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Office Max.......meh. Went their last year after BB and Target, got dvd+r and dvd burner there, this year nothing special. Will probably skip them all together.
sperdue Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 I can't recall getting great deals on DVD+R's without rebates....Compusa had a 100 spindle last year for 19.99 no rebates. These were 4x, so I was hoping they would have the same deal this year w/8x
Brad Posted November 14, 2005 Author Posted November 14, 2005 Scans are now posted: http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=15792 :)

BLKFRI Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Thanks for the scans, My favorite color is red, I want the 1 gig jump drive. I don't see any great deals. Are the stores making so much money they don't need them?
TheDude Posted November 14, 2005 Posted November 14, 2005 Were there any last year? I still have my FAR CD-Rs from TWO & THREE years ago!It was Office Depot as I recall.I bought 2 spindles(me & my sis have different address) I got only 1 left. I have a big music collection, I burn cds all the time.
BFman Posted November 15, 2005 Posted November 15, 2005 Anyone have the sku numbers of the FAR items? Thanks.
PhaserBait Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Anyone have the sku numbers of the FAR items? Thanks.Yeah, I was looking for those, too. Completely illegible on the scan. If anyone could get those to us it would be great. I want to return/rebuy some of them.
