jendeere Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 We are always out of town for Thanksgiving so I never get to shop here in our town. I like to come home and see what all is left over. I saw an entire pallet of Wii's today and tons of movies. There was also tons of kids clothes left and some of the larger frames and the little disney rocker horses. Lots of other misc stuff but those are the things there were lots left of. What all is left at your Walmart, and are they offered at the Black Friday prices or back to regular price?
chester5 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 We went last night around 8. Lots of the $98 tvs. A few of the larger tvs, too. Good selection of movies, as well as some of the toys.
starbeck96 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I went and got the Kodak camera ($49.00) tonight around 8. I actually got two. I got one for myself and one for the boys. They called and asked their paw paw if they could go ahead and get their 25.00 each to get it with..lol. They have been wanting one a while and I knew that would be a good camera for them to start out with.. There were a few of the bigger TVs tonight. Yesterday afternoon they had around 10. They had a bunch of different toys left too. Several different cameras. They had some of the hardware items. A good many movies.
bigjimslade Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I just got back from food shopping and I saw alot of the TVs and desktops left. They were on pallets near the check out.
santaclaus Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I may have to hop out to Walmart and see if they have any of those Wiiis left. I was out there yesterday morning and asked about them and they said they had none left. My Walmart didn't have much left but I at least got the main thing I was after, the 1600 piece Lego set. Someone must have decided they didn't want it and sat it down. I grabbed it quick, LOL.
misstaken Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Tons of legoes, pj and mini backpacks, one of the 32 in Emerson TVs and a bunch of the Samsung ones. Lots of the kids clothes and about 30 of the red $99 cameras. Plus some wireless routers, bikes, movies, and video games. As of yesterday!
nef Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 tons of pjs and the $98 TV and that was as of today.
tdanette Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 PJs, tv's, kodak printers, rubbermaid containers, lots of the kitchen stuff
bugsette Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 now are these items still the BF prices????
tehlilone Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 I saw a bunch of TVs and DVDs left. Barely any Blu-rays and games. But some clothes... while I was there they were going through and changing prices so I'm not sure if they were still at BF prices today but I doubt it since most of the stuff was good only until Saturday.
chartse1 Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 I got some 4 GB flash drives for $5 and one 8 GB flash drive for $9.
1whodatdare Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 now are these items still the BF prices????Nope. I was really excited, because today when I got back to PA, I decided to check the leftovers. I was happy to see all of the Barbie and Scooby doo movies I missed in South Carolina. I grabbed 3 scooby and 2 barbie, but I price checked and they popped up regular despite having promo stickers : (
starbeck96 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Nope. I was really excited, because today when I got back to PA, I decided to check the leftovers. I was happy to see all of the Barbie and Scooby doo movies I missed in South Carolina. I grabbed 3 scooby and 2 barbie, but I price checked and they popped up regular despite having promo stickers : ( This is what I think is wrong. I think if they leave the promo price on it they should have to sell it to you for the promo price. AT our Walmart everything was still in the middle aisle yesterday. Some stuff was still in the same boxes that it was BF. Those boxes still had certain prices written on the side but when I went to check out, it was regular price. I could have argued it since the other price was still on the side of the box that they were displayed in, but I didn't because it was a new cashier and she was rude at that!!! If I would not have had my daughter, I probably would have argued it, just because she was so rude!
mccabefamily29 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 The Walmart here still had probably 100 blue Wii systems on Sunday morning. They had most toys except the little people. No bedding or houseware items left though. Some tv shows but no blu rays. There were even a few video games.
ISU ME Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 The walmart I went to last night had tons of stuff left in the boxes in the middle aisles. They had taken markers and crossed out the prices on the boxes and the balloons and put new price stickers over the top and written new prices on the balloons with markers.
Cblaramore Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I guess I wasted my time going on BF:( Besides our 32 in TV the other 3 things we got were at my Walmart today for the black friday price! Glad for those who missed out!
Cblaramore Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 I think it is. I bought it for my son last year and once I changed the settings it looks pretty dang good! His room is 11 x 10 so if you have a bigger room than that I would suggest a bigger tv. I also bought the 19in this year for my daughters room. They had about 30 left at my walmart still for $98.
jakesmommy403 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I just got back from my WM and was surprised at how much is still left. There were a ton of the blue Wii's (marked at $119 now), Disney rocking horses and chairs, the kids' pajamas that everyone was going nuts over on BF, telescopes, desk chairs...I can't say whether any of the TV's or bluray players were from BF because I didn't really look at them. So I take it the blue Wii's weren't on anyone's list??
AndreaInNC Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 If I didn't already have a Wii - and I knew the market, I wouldn't buy one this year. I'd hold off until the newer Wii is released next year. Especially with Kinect and Move out there right now. Everyone here went for the Xbox Kinect bundle at my store.
jakesmommy403 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 We got our son a Wii for Christmas this year, but I got the black Mario Kart bundle with the Wii that stands up, and then bought an extra remote and stuff. I wasn't sure about these Wii's that just lay flat, and I definitely didn't want a blue one. I was just surprised to see so many left over at WM! I saw people putting 2 and 3 of them in their carts on BF! WM must have had a large stock of them. ?
tehlilone Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I think walmart has so many because they had them exclusively... I also think some people didn't buy them because the WiiU is coming for the 2012 holidays
cjqueen Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 We went to our walmart today and I was amazed at how much stuff they had left from the BF sale -- TVs, vacuums, shop vacs, Hot Wheels, kids pajamas. Everything but hot wheels and pajamas were priced back up. I didn't even go down each of the main aisles. There may have been more. We didn't get the blue wii because my kids wanted one that would play Gamecube games (which we have a ton of). I got one of the Mario Kart bundles from Gamestop.
BeckyCassl Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 Was in Walmart today to pick up items purchased online on BF. They had the 9.44 coffee pots and crock pots, a few of the 19.96 600 count sheet sets, some of the 14.88 items, the Rubbermaid 30 piece sets, and the memory foam bed toppers. They were all at BF prices. I was in the store earlier in the week and these items were not there.
yellowjeepster Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 I have been looking for the mens Hanes pj pants. I bought quite a few and some for gifts. I washed mine and they shrunk almost 3" and now practically too short, lol. I was wanting to exchange sizes on the other ones but can't find any in stock and none online either.
tinkrbel Posted December 7, 2011 Posted December 7, 2011 the 6.88 sheets are still online in some colors size twin/full. free site to store
AndreaInNC Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 My kids love those sheets! They were a great deal too. I looked for them online and they are NOT coming up at the BF price.
tinkrbel Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 My kids love those sheets! They were a great deal too. I looked for them online and they are NOT coming up at the BF price.sorry, looks like I ordered the last few and mine have shipped to store. The only one I can't find on here is the blue set but will look up on laptop later see if it's available, all others show sold out at 6.88 price. I was able to order 2 more brown and 1 red FULL since it lowered quantity from 2 when I tried to place order. I found them accidentally when going through and deleting the tabs I'd stuck at top of firefox for easy shopping.
mom2monkiesx3 Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I just got back and I was really suprised. An entire aisle of electronics..TV, those cheap brand sound bars, digital frames, printers, bluray players, ect. I also noticed some of the griddles stacked up, rubbermaid tupperware, sheets, pajamas and pallets of random toys. A stack of bikes a MILE high! I didn't buy a thing
