evansmommy9902
This is a La Nina year for us here in the west, and that last time it was a La Nina, we flooded bad, here in the Reno area. I just have a feeling that it will be raining or snowing on Black Friday & I've never had to deal with that! When standing in line for 4 hours before doors open, how do you stay warm & dry? bigjimslade
Layers, Layers and Layers. It is also a good idea to get a ski coat which helps.
ClemsonMike323
I've always been very fortunate to have dry BF's so I can't speak from experience but I would have to agree with Big Jim on this one. Never too many layers when cold and wet are involved. I may have to finally take the advice myself this year. Early reports for our weather are lows in the lower 30's and rain. Kim3498
We've already had snow in VA, so I'm not holding my breath for a decent forecast. Showing snow on Tuesday, and icy rain on Wednesday. Sound bout like my luck. Guess it will be lots of layers for my crew this year. stationchief
For the average in the Phoenix, AZ area it's supposed to be about 47 degrees when the doors open at 4am. We gotta wait 'til next week to see the more 'official' forecast for BF.

shopping4my3son
Tues. and Wed. are a high of 26/25 and a low of 20/21 with snow both days. I'm not even sure I'll be able to go yet. My DH started a new job and I'm not sure if he'll have off. If it snows I'd feel better. Especially since I live 20 miles from where I shop. Miss Star
It's predicting low to mid 40s and rain here on wednesday of that week. I don't mind the cold, I just don't want the rain!
IrishWife
We're looking to follow the trend of those days in years past.... 45 degrees. Of course at 2am, when we roll out its much colder than that.
freesia39
It doesn't occur every year, but with how frequently it is discussed it feels like it. I thought last year was a La Nina year, it rained SO MUCH. I was hoping for a not so wet winter this year.
mrs.winter
Here in Missouri the day before it says a high of 40 with flurries witch will be fine with me on BF it puts me in the mood to shop for Christmas and the last 3-4 years it has been 50-65 on bf and for me that is too warm!!I would take a light dusting of snow and flurries Black Friday! :)
sweetdiggity
Mine says 23 degrees for a high and snow 2 days before BF. I'm interested to see if this is accurate!

neboo
I think it is a crime that they can give you weather "forecasts" for that far away. You cannot accurately predict the weather that is going to happen 3 days from now, not to mention almost 3 weeks.
HansieDZ
Here in Missouri the day before it says a high of 40 with flurries witch will be fine with me on BF it puts me in the mood to shop for Christmas and the last 3-4 years it has been 50-65 on bf and for me that is too warm!!I would take a light dusting of snow and flurries Black Friday! :) I agree! What better way to Officially kickoff the Christmas season than with a little snow?A few years ago,I awoke bright and early (who can sleep much on BF Eve???) to a couple of inches of snow ONLY on the ground and none on the streets! Now that was perfect imo!The snow set the mood for Christmas, yet it wasn't dangerous to drive in.
