MassMomx5
I'll probably use cash and store gift cards. I have had issues as well with the credit/debit card machines not working. I liked the idea of buying the gift cards at the grocery store and using the points towards cheap gas. Smart thinking!
dd50
I use my cc so I get my cash rewards. I then go home and pay it off sometime that weekend. I do now have a Kohl's card so if I get a percentage off I will use that there.
bpr
I use my check card (which says debit on it, but push 'credit' button . What kind of card is it? I don't know, lol) and swipe all day. I just go home a download the data from my bank to see what I spent, lol.

KrystalMae1231
I will be using my credit card, Kohls credit card, cash and debit card. I get reward from both credit cards, plus I have 0% interest until June 2010 so why not. lol
mcwalker
All credit cards, all the time. For miles / cash back! But I always pay balances in full each month. Also, my AmEx provides an extra year of warranty on most things that have warranties and some other protections. Be sure to check out GottaDeal's other site for good reward credit cards: http://www.bettercreditcard.com/ (This is an unsolicited endorsement. )
SuggaD
credit card. I never take anything more than my credit card and driver's license...no wallet or purse.
angelbabymommy
I take $50 cash for food & other petty stuff ; then the rest is on my debit card, which I use as credit (for the points mostly, but its also easier). I, too, dont carry a purse. I just carry my cash, debit card & ID in an inside pocket.
isikorsky
Pay in cash - the machines are WAY too slow (but I don't spend more than $200) The other options is to prepay your credit card & then go shop - that way you are getting the miles/points, using your cc and not have to worry about the cash. You just need to be able to keep track of how much you are spending....
elena_398
I used to pay cash, but my husband worries about me having so much on me. So I pay with debit card now (comes from my checking). I do not like to use charge cards so never use those.
pogiporkchop
With the major purchases DH wants me to make it looks like CC for me, though I'll have to consult with him first. Don't want to be stuck having to return a bunch of stuff after he told me to go shopping only to say later I spent too much...

hnybee411
I have a little coin purse I attach to a belt loop with a sturdy ring. It's secure and stays hidden under my clothes. It also hangs so the zipper has to be shut for it to hang right. Cash and Driver's license go in there. Everything else gets left at home.
nisha98
Looks like I'm only going to Target (and maybe Toys R Us for non doorbusters) so I'll take cash so I can only buy what is on my list. Hopefully there are some great online deals from Amazon that I will use my amazon card that is used solely for amazon purchases and paid off. Kme1958
We don't have credit cards, we are following Dave Ramsey financial plan so we won't be charging even if we did. Cash for me!!! Even if I used my debit card I would be scared to overspend.
tinkrbel
credit card. I HATE carrying around cash plus my cards all have some sort of reward attached. Will take my main card and then best buy/walmart ones if I decide on getting any big items there for interest free period. I think the disney cc also has interest free over purchases of so much but need to look through crap received in mail.

Gporter34
Cash only. Have tried the debit card in the past and if the machines mess up or go slow, it's terrible. Less headache and I keep it in my pocket.
billcsho
I've redeemed my Discover cashback for gift cards with bonus amount. That make my purchase 10-20% cheaper. Particularly good for buying stuffs with rebates that I can even make money.

Way safer than cash since it is always a mad house with tons of people crammed into one another so greater chance of lost :2dollar:!!

I will take my cash and my Visa... if a store has electronics I will use the Visa... then take that much out of my cash and lock it in my car so I know it goes to the bank the next morning so I can pay the Visa online as soon as it posts... triplej2002
My husband and I both just take our debit cards. Cash is too easy to lose and also too much of a hassle to count out and all that. Safer to keep that small card than a wad of cash too. It's easier just to swipe the card and go.
